It's my first time here. I saw the turkey schnitzel, it's really delicious and a huge portion for the price😋 Hats off, you don't get that often in the Munich area anymore... The staff is friendly and attentive. So also a plus. And all I can say about the location is that I just like sitting in the beer garden, it's quiet and no one is shouting. So just great, I hope it will always be like this here. Then I'll always come when I'm there once a year for work.🍻👍🏻👍🏻

The food was simply brilliant and the portions were also very large, which is definitely recommended for the prices. Not every restaurant can offer such a good price-performance ratio as Schienhammer. The waiter was very friendly and personable. The people in the kitchen and at the counter were also in a good mood and smiling. The ambience wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but it was also something special when you eat in places like that.

Pretty good, totally feels and tastes authentic. We even went again later prior to departure for a steak. Nothing can go wrong. Enjoy it wether it’s beer or meals, they are excellent.

This economy is one of my favorite economies. Fair prices for very tasty food, good portions and friendly waiters who sometimes have a funny saying on their lips. Just beautiful! Thanks for your regular hospitality!

The food is good and tasty, but the restaurant is unfortunately quite outdated and urgently needs to be renovated. Especially the toilets, because they are really disgusting.

We were guests there recently. A real Bavarian country inn with a landlord who has a sense of humor. The portions of the pork schnitzel and the Bavarian Cordon Bleu (filled with Obatzda), each with French fries and salad, were huge and good. In summer you can also sit outside in the beer garden.

There are very cheap and tasty lunch menus here, I currently paid €10.

A tavern straight out of a picture book: delicious food, large portions, more than fair prices. And always friendly and courteous service. Since no wishes remain unsatisfied.

Everything was perfect here. Warm service, fast service, coziness, perfect steak with a colorful side salad. We traveled an extra 2 hours and it was worth it. Very cheaply priced. Definitely the insider tip in the south of Munich. Reservation not necessary.

Really cozy place! Real typical bavarian food. On Wednesdays they offer a variety of Schnitzels for 9,90 euro. The staff is friendly as well! Just remember that they only accept card payments with a minimim value of 30 euro, so it may be smart to bring some cash.

Das Essen war einfach nur super lecker, ein sehr zartes perfektes Schnitzel und mega leckere nicht fettige Pommes. Das Gastgeberteam war so was von extrem freundlich, schon lange nicht mehr so angenehm und zuvorkommend bedient worden. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf das nächste Wiedersehen. Uriges Bayerisches Wirtshaus, super Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast sehr wohl

Alles ziemlich schmutzig und unappetitlich...vom Boden & der Deko bis hin zur Tischdecke, Speisekarte, Salz&Pfeffer. Hatte eine Salatplatte mit Schnitzelstreifen bei dem das Dressing leider aus der Dose war. Das Argentische Hüftsteak war leider auch mit einer Fertig-Gewürzmischung ummantelt. Der Service war sehr freundlich, nochmal hingehen würden wir nicht.

Die Servicekraft war trotz Unterbesetzung sehr freundlich und hatte stets einen lockeren Spruch auf den Lippen. Daswar sehr amüsant. Die Essensportionen sind sehr reichlich und haben wirklich gut geschmeckt.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden..Service sehr sehr nett und das Schnitzel und auch die Pommes sehr lecker. Wir saßen im Biergarten, deshalb kann ich den Innenraum nicht beurteilen. Die Toiletten müssten jedoch dringend erneuert werden.

Gut besuchtes Biergarten Restaurant Man wird immer sehr freundlich empfangen. Das ist dort jahrelang gleichbleibend gut. Wir hatten Goldbarschfilet sowie Zander mit Kartoffeln bestellt und würden nicht enttäuscht. Zu empfehlen ist auch der Grillteller den ich mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt hatte. Die Getränke und Speisen werden zügig serviert. Jederzeit wieder .

Der Salat mit Schnitzel Streifen war ein Salat mit nem sehr guten kompletten Schnitzel in Streifen. Mir gefällt das👍🏻 Salatsauce war mir etwas zu süß.

Das beste Restaurant in dem ich seit langem war. Preislich sehr fair und die Qualität des Essens hat absolut Note 1 verdient. Wenn die Preise und Quali so bleiben kommen wir regelmäßig vorbei. Auch der Schnitzeltag am Mittwoch ist der Hammer. Genau so weiter!

Gute Küche, schneller Mittagstisch, angenehme Preise. Sehr empfehlenswert. Es gibt wechselnde Mittagsangebote und Mittwochs ist Schnitzeltag, da ist es immer voll, weil die vielen Schnitzelsorten einfach super sind.

Zum Schnitzeltag empfehlenswert, die Schnitzel sind zart und knusprig, anständige Portionen, der Kartoffelsalat typisch bayrisch. Biergarten leider aus Wettergründen nicht möglich gewesen, drinnen eher altbackene Wirtshausatmosphäre. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die Schnitzel in allen Variationen gleichen das aber locker aus. Bei einem Schnitzel am Schnitzeltag für 7,90 inkl Beilagen stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut. Qualität und Quantität haben nicht unter dem Preis gelitten wie in anderen Gaststätten. Die sanitären Einrichtungen könnten allerdings mal renoviert werden, haben eher Biergartencharakter.

Das Essen ist wie immer, doch ist unübersehbar, dass die Sauberkeit nachlässt. Der Boder ist schmutzig und die Toilettenreinigung (Damen) hatte gestern einen rabenschwarzen Tag. Das geht gar nicht. Der joviale Kellner ging ja hier schon mehreren auf die Nerven.

Wir (4 Personen) gehen oft zum Schienhammer, jedes Essen schmeckt hervorragend und der Schnitzeltag ist jeweils ein Highlight. Ichkann diese Gaststätte nur wärmstens empfehlen. Sehr gutes Essen zu sehr günstigen Preisen. G. Fliegel

We want a traditional non touristic place to dine at during our trip in München. Schienhammer was the nearest to our hotel and it was perfect. The kitchen is very good, traditional and on the same time you won’t find anything that the other touristic spots are serving. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. And will definitely come back again.

Arrived into Planegg a day early for a meeting and found this place wandering around. Thought it would be a good alternative to the pizza, Japanese and Chinese choices nearby. It's definitely a local place, with a German menu (which was fine because the server was very helpful), and a few tables of local folks playing cards etc I chose the chicken cordon bleu and a pint of Munich beer . Giant portion sizes (not a plus for me, but some might prefer it...), and generally very tasty. The chef/owner came over to see if I was enjoying it, which I thought was a nice touch. I'd go back.. If this were in a city center I'd probably give 3-1/2 stars, but given the location it's a good choice

Unfortunately the old owner has retired. Schienhammer has reopened under new management and it will likely be closing soon again as the food is terrible. It still looks the same, but the soul and warmth is gone. The food is no longer prepared fresh. If you like frozen food and sauces from the package, this is your restaurant. I personally will not be eating there any more.

We go regularly with the family. It is a real traditional Bavarian restaurant and the staff are always very friendly. The food is excellent and the prices are unbeatable. Wednesday night is Schnitzel night and reservations are recommended as it is always quite full. There are several different kinds of Schnitzel that are only 7 Euros. The portions are just the right size, not to big and not to small. The beer garden is very shady and a bit loud with the buses going by, but still a great place to hang out.

They have a few room upstairs. I stayed here more than 2 weeks for business. I dined on the restaurant a few times during my stay. The food was traditional German/Bavarian with a lots of meat. It was delicious. It is full with local people living in and around. They are all very friendly and welcoming. Overall the dining experience was very pleasant. I would definitely visit here again if I ever go to Munich. Menu is resonably priced. So, if you are looking for to enjoy traditional Bavarian experience and not fall in exorbitantly priced "restaurants", this might be your thing. A little far from the city though..
