Gaststätte Reiterklause in Ansbach

Pleasant atmosphere. But high prices.

On my most recent visit, the minced lamb skewers left a lot to be desired. While they used to be juicy and generously portioned, they now appear dry, lacking in flavor, and served cold. The food may be acceptable by Ansbach standards, but anyone who has already enjoyed authentic Arabic cuisine or compares it to Nuremberg will quickly realize that this offering doesn't come close to matching it. The service also leaves a mixed impression. A noticeable delay in serving food further dampens the overall experience. Overall, the impression remains that potential is being wasted here – both in terms of culinary skills and customer service.

A lovely little restaurant in Ansbach's old town. The food and atmosphere were simply fantastic. I'd love to go back! And the quality is excellent for the price.

A really good tip when you're on the go. Close to the highway Exceptionally good crepes and French pancakes hearty and sweet everything perfect. Very tasty 😋
