We ate there yesterday and enjoyed it very much. The dishes were freshly prepared and the service was very attentive. We will eat there again.

He prepared our Christmas buffet. Simply fantastic.

I ordered a vegetarian salad with fried potatoes at the Schlebusch Brewery and specifically asked beforehand if it could be prepared without fish and meat. I was assured that it could. Unfortunately, the salad arrived with bacon. When I spoke to the waitress about it, she reacted rather rudely and showed little understanding. I was told that they were so busy that they couldn't accommodate such requests, and that there were restaurants specifically for vegetarians – after all, this was a brewery. Mistakes can happen, but the way the customer was treated in this situation was disappointing. It seems that anyone wanting to eat vegetarian food or with special requests isn't welcome here. It's a shame, because friendliness and service should be a given, even when the place is busy.

The price/performance ratio wasn't great. I understand that everything is getting more expensive, but the portions were quite small. The taste was okay. I would describe the ambiance as simple and dated. I expected a bit more. I also found it a bit musty.
