Leider war das Schnitzel viel zu dunkel.Richtig hart und zu lange in der Friteuse.Bratkartoffeln in denen man Speck und Zwiebeln suchen musste.Von einem Brauhaus erwarte ich da mehr.

Schönes Brauhaus,nettes Ambiente und Service ist einfach super und freundlich sowie Gäste orientiert. Komme immer wieder gerne.

Das Brauhaus Schlebusch können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Die Portionen sind riesig und man wird gut satt. Der Service ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und schnell. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Gasthaus mit gut bürgerlicher Küche.

Auf nachfrage nach Eiswürfel im getränk bekam ich die Antwort: Aus Kostengründen gibt es ausschließlich einen einzigen Eiswürfel für Weintrinker. Auch Zitronenscheiben in z.b. Cola würde es hier nicht geben. Das essen war okay nicht besonders gut aber auch nicht besonders schlecht.

Das Essen war leider gar nicht gut. Das Cordon Bleu war seeehr trocken und fast schwarz von außen. Meine Bratkartoffeln waren leider nicht vegetarisch und kamen mit Speck, obwohl ich darauf hingewiesen habe, dass ich Vegetarier bin. Konnte dann auch nickt mehr neu gemacht werden und ich bekam Pommes. Service war nett und Bier kam schnell, aber vom Essen waren wir alle sehr enttäuscht.

Hatte zur Vorspeise pikantes Gulaschsuppe. Das Fleisch war zart... schärfe, nicht wirklich scharf. Als Hauptgang gab es Hähnchenbrust mit Pfeffersosse dazu Pommes und ein kleinen Salat. Preis / Leistungsverhältniss ist ok.

Ich hatte ein Paprikaschnitzel. Leider war das Fleisch ziemlich zäh. Beim ersten Mal essen im Brauhaus war es wesentlich besser.

Tolles Brauhaus , super Service, nettes Personal, typische Brauhausküche. Im Winter drinnen gewesen, auf jeden Fall reservieren. Im Frühsommer waren wir am Sonntagnachmittag im Biergarten, bereits gegen 16 Uhr. Da war es frei, später wurde es etwas voller.

Das Essen war recht lecker und von der Größe her mehr als ausreichend. Leider war der Service an dem Nachmittag, als wir da waren, katastrophal. Obwohl es recht leer war, mussten wir sehr lange auf alles warten und bezüglich neuer Getränke mehrmals selbst nachfragen. Meinen Salat habe ich leider nur zu Hälfte geschafft und hatte gebeten, den Rest mitzunehmen. Das wurde mir auch bejaht, als ich dann beim Zahlen aber danach gefragt habe, wurde mir gesagt, den restlichen Salat haben man weggeworfen. Auf meine Bemerkung, dass ich ihn eigentlich mitnehmen wollte, wurde nicht eingegangen und mir stattdessen wortlos das Kartengerät hingehalten. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Gar Nichts - es passte leider zum allgemeinen Eindruck des Service.

War hier mit meiner Frau und auch den Kindern schon öfter Essen, kann nur sagen das Essen ist sehr gut und besonders das Bier - Schreckenskammer Kölsch - ist ein Genuss. Preis Leistung ist voll OK. Wenn es voll ist kann es schon mal ein wenig dauern bis die Getränke und das Essen kommen.

Enttäuscht von dem Service am 01.05. mittags im Biergarten. Man gestattete uns nicht die Plätze zu wechseln in den Schatten obwohl genug Plätze unterm Sonnenschirm frei waren. Zuviel Aufwand wegen der Umbuchung🙈…… Da waren die früheren Kellnerinnen aber um Klassen kundenfreundlicher . Schade

Sehr freundlicher Köbes bediente uns in tollem Ambiente und das Essen war hervorragend.

Rustikales Ambiente, ein bei guter Auslastung nich ganzleiser Speisesaal, aber leckeres Essen bei sehr freundlichem Personal. Zum Essen passt meist das frisch ausgeschenkte Schreckenskammer, ein aus dem Fass sehr leckeres Kölsch.

Wir haben im Brauhaus die Kommunion unserer Tochter gefeiert und waren mehr als begeistert. Unkomplizierte Planung, eigener Raum. Trotz kurzfristiger Absagen kein Problem. Auf Wunsch gedeckt und sogar mit unserer Wunsch Deko dekoriert. Hatte ich zum Planungsgespräch mitgebracht. Wie von uns gewünscht eine Vorspeise am Platz. Da waren alle happy drüber nach der Zeit in der Kirche. ;-) Die für uns zuständige Kellnerin immer im passenden Moment da, authentisch und sehr herzlich. Auch auf die Kids wurde gut geschaut. Alle Gäste (17 Pers.) hatten Lust etwas zu bestellen (weil nicht zuviel/zuwenig gefragt wurde) und wir haben gemeinsam richtig gut gegessen. Von Steak bis Pfannenkuchen, Schnitzel, Salat. Ich war total erleichtert und konnte auch alles geniessen- weil sich Ingrid einfach so toll um uns gekümmert hat. Grazie Mille von uns & unseren Gästen!

Es ist ein sehr schönes Brauhaus und traditionell. Essen hat zwar über die Jahre abgebaut aber dennoch ist es sehr lecker. Das einzige ist der Service da man manchmal echt lange warten muss

Ich kenne den Laden seit 30Jahren. So lang hab ich noch nie auf das Essen gewartet (45min). Bin nicht zum erstem Mal zu einer Stoßzeit hier. Auch die ersten Getränke durften wir erst nach 10min. bestellen. Ein Unding für ein Brauhaus. Das es seit einiger Zeit Schreckenskammer Kölsch gibt, ist eine sehr gute Verbesserung. Der Rest ist schlechter, als früher. Nebenbei: viele defekte Lampen. Passt zum Gesamteindruck: wird schlechter.

Bedienung ganz nett Kölsch ist okay das Essen ist nicht so lecker viel Fertigprodukte.

Vor einigen Tagwn waren wir zum ersten Mal mit meinem Mann und unserem Abend im Brauhaus und waren sehr angetan vom Essen und dem Service. Auch war es schön das wir unseren Hund mitnehmen konnten, der unter dem Tisch schlafen konnte. Das Essen war wirklich gut und auch wenn der Laden sehr voll war gin es mit dem Service sehr schnell. Sofort wieder!

Lecker Essen, lecker Kölsch, lecker Chef! Das tolle Team und die gemütliche Atmosphäre machen den Besuch immer wieder lohnenswert. Am Wochenende ist der Laden schnell voll, deswegen empfiehlt es sich vorher zu reservieren.

Wir waren Spontan an einem Freitag abend zu Besuch. Für uns wurde extra ein kleiner Tisch freigemacht und obwohl es rappel voll war, wurden wir extrem zügig bedient. Wir haben Das Rumpsteak mit pommes und Salat bestellt. Und es war einfach verdammt gut. Besser als bei vielen steak Häusern die ich bislang besucht habe. Und preislich kann man das auch nicht toppen! In allen Punkten 5 Sterne 🌟

Sehr lecker und tolles Ambiente

Wir hatten für den 2. Weihnachtstag für 16 Personen reserviert. Wir haben einen separaten Raum bekommen, dadurch war das Ambiente für uns gut und nicht zu laut. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell, obwohl es voll war. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionsgröße sehr gut und die Preise verhältnismäßig gut. Für uns hat alles gepasst und wir haben beschlossen, wiederzukommen.

Die haben super Schnitzel verschiedenster Art und man kriegt eine gute Portion und als Beilage Pommes und Salat, was viel ist und sättigt! Es gibt jede Menge andere Gerichte zur Auswahl! Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre und sehr nette und freundliches Personal. Ich war schon paar Mal dort essen und kann anderen nur empfehlen hier essen zu gehen! Es lohnt sich!

Ich habe im Schlebuscher Brauhaus einen vegetarischen Salat mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt und vorher ausdrücklich nachgefragt, ob dieser ohne Fisch und ohne Fleisch zubereitet werden kann. Mir wurde das zugesagt. Leider kam der Salat dann mit Speck. Als ich die Kellnerin darauf ansprach, reagierte sie recht zickig und wenig verständnisvoll. Mir wurde gesagt, es sei so viel los, dass man darauf keine Rücksicht nehmen könne, und dafür gäbe es schließlich extra Restaurants – dies sei ja ein Brauhaus. Fehler können passieren, aber der Umgang mit dem Gast war in dieser Situation enttäuschend. Wer vegetarisch essen möchte oder besondere Wünsche hat, scheint hier nicht willkommen zu sein. Schade, denn Freundlichkeit und Service sollten auch bei hohem Betrieb selbstverständlich sein.

Waren mit 6 Leuten hier, einer hat das Essen viel zu spät erhalten weil es vergessen wurde in der Küche laut Kellner. Meine Bratkartoffeln waren sehr knusprig bis leicht angebrannt. Ich war schon mehrmals hier und zufrieden aber dieses mal hat es mich/ uns nicht überzeugt. Für das vergessene Essen hätte man dem Kollegen ein Kölsch ausgeben können als ein kleines "Sorry" Das Schokoküchlein (3x) war leider nicht komplett geschmolzen sieht man auch auf dem Foto

The menu was rather rustic, featuring some "local" cuisine; the drinks selection was limited. The apple spritzer and the Kölsch (Schreckenskammer) are highly recommended. The brewery ambiance wasn't particularly pronounced, but it was acceptable. The ceiling in the separate room was very nice, although the chandelier was missing three lightbulbs. The Christmas decorations (the restaurant was reserved for a Christmas party) were very sparse and uninspired. They consisted of a string of lights that guests had to plug in themselves. The service was friendly (period). The food looked appealing, but unfortunately didn't live up to the hype. All the schnitzels were described as tough, the mussels prepared in the Rhineland style as "just okay" (with too little bread), and the rump steak was overcooked. My "brewery pan" left much to be desired and left me hungry. The order was supposed to be three baked pork medallions with peppercorn cream sauce, croquettes, and vegetables with hollandaise sauce... Instead, I received three small, thinly sliced ​​"schnitzels" (definitely not medallions!!!), completely overcooked and dry, tough, with barely any peppercorn cream sauce under a small amount of very dark, baked cheese. These were served with croquettes and unseasoned, almost raw vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots). I like my vegetables al dente, but they should be more than just blanched! The small amount of "packet" hollandaise sauce couldn't salvage it. My question about whether schnitzels had perhaps been mistakenly sent instead of medallions was dismissed dismissively. ... This was my first time there, and there won't be a second!

There were seven of us, and everything was great. The service was quick-witted and the food was perfect. We were all very satisfied.

There are no long waiting times and you will definitely leave satisfied. Table reservations are recommended for the evening.

I was at Brauhaus Schlebusch yesterday and I'm absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is cozy and typically Cologne, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I especially enjoyed the freshly tapped Kölsch and the delicious food – everything was superbly prepared. You can tell that they put their heart and soul into what they do here. I'll definitely be back and can highly recommend Brauhaus Schlebusch to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a truly wonderful brewery experience!

This is about a particular waiter and the boss who doesn't take action and doesn't throw out these types. The boss is replaced and does nothing. An unnamed waiter, 1.95 meters tall, with black hair and a beard, thinks he's the boss. He can diagnose illnesses from afar (better than a head physician) and then throw guests out of the restaurant. He interferes in private conversations that are none of his business. He declares a lockdown for the restaurant and keeps the beer garden closed even in perfect weather. Instead of serving customers at the bar, even though he sees them waiting for drinks, he goes for a smoke. He also knows where parking is allowed and where it isn't, orders a car to be moved, and threatens to call the police. Not five minutes later, another customer is parked in the same spot. That's perfectly fine. Double standards and no police involvement. This guy's arrogance and conceit are unparalleled and he certainly doesn't belong in the restaurant business. He thinks he's indispensable and is also incredibly unfriendly. Yesterday, I went to the brewery for the first time in ages. At first, the waiter said everything was reserved. When I finally found a free table, he refused to serve me and told the other waiters, who had never even seen me, to do the same. I, along with other guests, complained to the owner several times. He brushed it all off and even defended staff like that. Unbelievable. Several customers have already stopped going to the brewery because of this waiter. The owner never issued any bans. This untrained guy hasn't achieved anything in his life and probably never will, yet he thinks he's the boss, while the spineless owner doesn't do anything about it, even though his business is being damaged. Keep it up, that's the motto. I think it was about time someone addressed this publicly. Update: Yesterday, the owner reacted and issued me a ban on top of everything else, which I don't really care about since I wouldn't have been going back anyway. It's the revenge of the little guy who can't take criticism; the signals were sent by both the waiter and the owner. When things get out of hand, a ban is issued, problem solved. No one complains anymore. A boss who lets the waiter walk all over him and has completely lost his leadership. Honestly, nobody needs a boss who then spreads lies to his customers. He refuses to accept criticism and change anything. On the contrary, he counters it aggressively with false accusations. You rarely see him in the restaurant in the evenings, so he doesn't notice anything. I don't even want to comment on the other problems, as other customers have already done so. There are places where you're greeted warmly by the owner and treated politely by the staff. Here, the customer is treated like royalty, at best a second-class citizen. Highly recommended, my clear recommendation!

This was our first time here today, and despite the restaurant being full, we received a very warm welcome from the truly wonderful and attentive waitress. We didn't find the noise level bothersome at all; it's just typical of a brewery. The food was excellent, and we will definitely be back. My husband and I highly recommend it. A special thank you to the lovely waitress; she was the nicest person we've ever met.

The waiters aren't very attentive. They don't even notice you when you want to order something. The mashed potatoes and applesauce came without applesauce. Despite asking, I didn't get any. No apology either.

A traditional brewery, perfect for those who appreciate hearty food. The portions are generous, and you'll definitely be full. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, and the service was super friendly.

Typical brewery, very friendly staff... but: The food was actually a complete disappointment. I was really looking forward to the Leberkäse (meatloaf) with a fried egg and fried potatoes. Unfortunately, the Leberkäse was extremely salty, and the fried potatoes were a complete disaster: pre-made fried potatoes, like you'd get from a discount store in the refrigerator. Terribly bad; I'd at least expect fresh fried potatoes. What a shame.

It's a lovely old brewery with a delicious "Schreckenskammer" (chamber of horrors) on tap. The menu is good and the portions are generous. Now, during chanterelle season, they also offer dishes with chanterelle mushrooms. I had a schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms and absolutely loved it! The only downside to the brewery is the limited parking. It's always best to call ahead and make a reservation.

My husband made a last-minute reservation. Unfortunately, we arrived about 15 minutes late. When we arrived, we were seated at a pass-through table facing the kitchen sink, a makeshift shelf and wall. The table had a shelf under the legs, so we didn't know how to place our feet without them starting to itch. The waitress asked us if we wanted drinks. We were given them together or separately, as my husband had reserved under a name. There was a candle on the table, which is usually lit, and my husband did this. The wait was okay. When our food arrived, we were greeted with the words "Welcome to McDonald's." I go to a brewery to eat well, not just for the sake of it. The food was "well, I can do better at home." The sauces were slimy, and the schnitzel my husband got was very dark. They should never have served it. We didn't want to wait any longer, though, as we had other plans. My chicken breast was perfectly fine, but the sauce. When we were finished, of course, we wanted to pay. We had to ask three different people if we could pay. It took 10 minutes before someone came. The waitress asked us if we wanted anything else. My husband said, "A pormornaie to pay." We don't think she found that very amusing. She went and took the orders for a large group. While she was calculating, she bent down to the table, which was already cramped.

Thank God we discovered this restaurant last year and we are happy. Service 5 points, everyone is always in a good mood and friendly. Food 5 points, no matter what we ordered, everything was simply delicious, even to take away, everything as desired. Price/performance ratio also 5 points. We are always happy to come back.

Delicious food and well-chilled drinks

We were there with friends. It was a lovely evening. At the beginning of the evening, the waitress was great, quick, and friendly (we would have bought her a drink). When we ordered our food, I ordered the brewery burger, which tasted good. Unfortunately, I have to say that the tomato was cut into quarters; in my opinion, they should put a slice on it. Later in the evening, after we'd finished eating, someone asked where the friendly waitress had gone, and the "boss" said, "I threw her out." We didn't find that very funny. Because of that, we won't go there anymore; in my opinion, that's just unacceptable.

Nice new benches and tables outside, beer cold and good as always, food delicious, but unfortunately the service on Sunday was much too slow or overwhelmed and it wasn't really fun.

The Leberkäse (meatloaf) with egg and fried potatoes is very tasty, well prepared, and looks great. The non-alcoholic wheat beer also tastes delicious. Compared to current prices (July 2025), the prices are still slightly below average—in other words, quite reasonable. I was with a small group (4-5 people) at "Das Brauhaus" in Schlebusch. Overall, we had a lovely evening: The food was delicious, the beer fresh and tasty – absolutely nothing to complain about. The service itself was also friendly and personable. However, the service was unfortunately anything but smooth. After the first beer and the meal, we ordered more beer – but after that, we sometimes had to wait 20 to 30 minutes before anyone even came by or for our order to arrive. We even had the foresight to order the next beer right after receiving one – and even that took another half hour. For a brewery where the flow of beer should be a given, that's really disappointing. The whole thing dragged on several times throughout the evening. At times, we had to ask several times, and when we asked for the bill, we were first asked whether we wanted cash or card – then the waiter just came back with his wallet, even though we had said "card." So we went back to get the card machine. Occasionally, we saw him smoking outside the entrance while we waited to pay – it made you feel like you weren't being taken seriously as a guest. I understand that it can be stressful and perhaps there's a shortage of staff – but then management needs to react accordingly and employ more service staff. This shouldn't happen in a brewery of this size and with this level of standards. Conclusion: The food and drinks were excellent, the staff friendly – ​​but the service was unfortunately completely disorganized. It's a shame; better organization would have made it even better.
