Small, very dirty, foul-smelling shop where a Turkish owner now sells doner kebab.

We have quite a long journey to get here, but it's worth it! Every time we drive towards Cottbus or the Spreewald, we pass through Uckrow. Since a chance visit a few years ago, it's become an absolute must to eat there when we're passing through. The dining room is quaint and well-maintained, totally inviting. We've always been served in a slightly Brandenburg style – a direct, yet very warm and friendly manner. The food has always been of the highest quality and served in generous portions. The owner and chef is a butcher himself, with a butcher shop attached. They really know their meat here! We're already looking forward to our next visit to Lorsch.

We had dinner there again today with business guests. Excellent food and friendly service. We'll be back. Thank you!

Always great, great staff, great events. Currently, since August 2025, the restaurant is open again on Thursdays and Sundays in the beautiful beer garden with a view of our Luckau church. Great atmosphere, small but fine menu, very tasty and freshly prepared, so plan on a bit of a wait. We're also planning to offer a variety of dishes; I'm excited. It's definitely worth a visit.

Clean and tidy appearance. Very customer-oriented service. Delicious food. We ordered duck with red cabbage and dumplings, which was not on the menu. Excellent and highly recommended. Very reasonably priced.
