The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and you don't have to wait long for your meal. PRIMA. Plus a good price-performance ratio. We particularly recommend the Friday lunchtime steak menu. But reservation is almost a must.

We've been eating there for years and it's our clear favorite. No matter whether you sit inside or outside, it's always nice to be there. The food is super tasty - especially the burgers -, all the dishes always come at the same time, no matter what was ordered and the service is friendly and quick. I'm always happy about the nice sayings and quotes that hang on the Wanh.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Dormagen / Neuss district. You get super tasty food at normal prices. That's why you always have to reserve in advance during peak times. The ambience is quite nice, rather rustic, unfortunately the sound is very loud when it is full. The beer garden is very comfortable to linger in when the weather is nice. Events (weddings, birthdays, etc.) can be celebrated in the adjacent hall.

We have been visiting the restaurant at irregular intervals for 20 years. In the meantime there was a phase where we were no longer satisfied at all and were no longer there. Two years ago we happened to end up in Ückerath on a bike tour and sat down for a drink in the beer garden. This coincidence was a stroke of luck for us because a lot had changed in the meantime. In addition to home-brewed beer, there are regular beer tastings (tailored to the season) with appropriate tastings. If you like it, there is also a horror chamber Kölsch fresh from the barrel. On Fridays you also have the opportunity to have an excellent lunch menu at very good prices, which we now take advantage of very often. Since the restaurant is always busy, you should make a reservation, but unfortunately this is not always that easy as there is often no time to answer the phone due to the large number of guests. Unfortunately you cannot reserve online. You often have to be patient and keep the phone in your hand.

Is often booked by companies and for private celebrations. There is a large hall for all kinds of events. A large customer parking lot and beer garden is directly behind the house.

Gestern Abend haben wir uns als Familie in diesem Restaurant zum Abendessen getroffen. Zunächst war es angenehm, bis ein Kellner oder vielleicht der Besitzer zu uns kam – leider weiß ich nicht, wer es war, aber er war sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben unsere Bestellung aufgegeben und haben ziemlich lange gewartet. Wir haben bemerkt, dass Leute, die nach uns gekommen sind, schon ihr Essen bekamen. Wir sind rausgegangen, um eine Zigarette zu rauchen und als ich von der Bank aufstand, bemerkte ich, dass meine hellblauen Hosen einen Fleck von Harz hatten. Meine Tochter wies höflich diesen Herrn darauf hin, dass ich meine Hosen an der Bank befleckt habe, und er antwortete, dass es natürliches Harz sei und das normal wäre. Ich bat um ein Kissen für die Bank und er warf es hin, ohne sich zu entschuldigen. Meiner Meinung nach verhielt er sich sehr arrogant. Schließlich brachte der Herr unser Essen. Das Essen war gut, außer das meiner Tochter – ihr Burger war völlig verbrannt und ungenießbar. Beim Bezahlen fragte der Herr, ob es geschmeckt habe, woraufhin meine Tochter auf ihren Teller zeigte und sagte, dass es nicht so gut war. Der Herr hörte ihr gar nicht zu und nannte uns den zu zahlenden Betrag. Wir gaben natürlich Trinkgeld, obwohl ich der Meinung bin, dass ich für meine befleckten Hosen Trinkgeld hätte bekommen sollen. Wir werden definitiv nicht mehr dorthin gehen, obwohl es schade ist, denn das restliche Essen war gut.

Guys, you have to reserve early to get a table here. And once you get one, you don't need to panic. There are enough parking spaces available. Drinks also come in abundance. Nobody is forgotten here. Even furry friends get something to drink. The food can be said to be EXCELLENT. We always enjoy coming here.

Went to Manes am Bösch on my birthday. It was wonderful, the service was excellent as was the food. My steak was a stunner and so delicious and so were the schnitzels. And all at great prices. Keep it up 👍👍👍👍👍 We are always happy to come to you.

Everything is ok for a restaurant

Hier könnt ihr immer wieder hingehen. Das Essen ist gleich bleibend toll von der Qualität her und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Man wird schnell und freundlich bedient die Getränke kommen zügig. Ich war schon oft hier und es lohnt sich immer.

Wir haben uns jetzt seit 4 Wochen bemüht, telefonisch mal einen Tisch für abends zu reservieren, nachdem wir vor Ort zweimal wieder nach Hause geschickt wurden. Es waren jeweils zwar Tische frei, jedoch meinte die sehr unhöfliche Bedienung, dass es nicht absehbar wäre, ob die Gäste noch kommen und wir wirklich in einer Stunde dann fertig wären und der Tisch wieder frei wäre. Telefonisch bekamen wir wieder nur sehr unfreundlich den Hinweis, dass alles ausgebucht ist, egal welche Uhrzeit, und wir mindestens drei Wochen vorher reservieren müssen! Also spontan hat man hier NIE eine Chance. Als ich dann fragte, ob wir es spontan mal versuchen sollen, antwortete man mir am Telefon, „dann werden wir sie sowieso wegschicken“ Also, wir versuchen es weiter spontan, weil wir keine Lust haben in einem „normalen“ Gasthof, drei Wochen vorher zu reservieren….! Schade um das Reservierungssystem. Das Essen war bislang nämlich immer super toll! Essen wow, Gästeumgang mies

Very average. Nothing really bad, but nothing outstanding either. Food is OK and okay for the price. However, it's somehow not something you need to go to a restaurant for. We don't particularly like the atmosphere, others may see it differently. The service wasn't unfriendly, but it wasn't really engaging or in a good mood either. All in all, you have to know what you're getting into and it'll be fine.

All the dishes we tried, from salad to goose and schnitzel to steaks, were always deliciously prepared and at extremely fair prices. The highlight is certainly the constantly changing beer selection and the very friendly advice (if you need it). Here, no one will be talked into buying a more expensive beer if you ask nicely. Even if not, you will be asked politely whether you know what you are ordering. The service is also hard to beat in terms of speed and friendliness. The tip for beer nerds: don't be distracted by the craft menu or the delicious chamber of horrors: definitely try your own pilsner/country beer and the wonderful old! Friday lunch special offers for steak and fries

Good menu, reasonable waiting time and attentive service. It is a country inn, well attended and highly recommended for a meal together. The food was good, or tasty as they say here. Large on-site parking lot. A bit tight when sitting, especially with the seating being quite spartan. So secure a comfortable bench in good time. :-)

I can't understand the good reviews! The store is dusty and not the cleanest. Thick layer of dust everywhere on the decorative bottles, dirty, greasy window frames, etc. You immediately get the impression that you are in an ancient pub that hasn't been cleaned in ages... The shop is so full of tables that you can't sit comfortably and the chair you're sitting on is constantly being jostled by staff and guests. Our drinks were only brought to our table after the starter and further questions. The main course was bad for everyone. The meat was burnt in every dish... regardless of whether it was a steak, burger or schnitzel. Afterwards it also manifested itself in stomach pain and diarrhea. The waiters didn't seem trained either, apart from the fact that drinks only came after asking several times, nobody asked when clearing away the empty glasses whether you wanted something else to drink. I know this differently from service-oriented restaurants. All in all, a restaurant that is not recommended.

Hallo zusammen, es fing schon damit an, dass der Tisch den wir reserviert hatten nicht verfügbar war. Dieser vorbestellte Tisch wird nur für 6 Personen reserviert, was uns aber am Telefon nicht gesagt wurde. Wir 5 Personen wären sonst nicht hin gefahren. Die sehr bemühte Bedienung konnte dann aber noch umplanen und wir durften am reservierten Tisch Platz nehmen. Essen bestellt, kam relativ zeitnah. Aber der Clou, von 5 Essen waren bei 4 Essen die Beilagen Kartoffelecken bzw Bratkartoffeln kalt!!!! Habe mein Essen zurück gegeben, mit dem Hinweis das ich kein Neues möchte und auch nicht bezahle. Mir war der Appetit gründlich vergangen. Nach 5 Minuten kam die Bedienung mit neuem Essen, was ich zurück gehen lies. Was mich am meisten geärgert hat: der Chef hielt sich im Hintergrund bedeckt. Er ist der Bedienung in keinster Weise zur Seite gegangen um uns als Kunden wieder ein zu fangen, da wir doch ziemlich angefressen waren. Ein guter Chef wäre an den Tisch gekommen und hätte hier probiert zu erklären bzw sich für 4 missratene Essen entschuldigt. Es ging auch anders, am Nebentisch wurden dann Bratkartoffeln serviert die noch dampften und der Gast Mühe hatte diese zu Essen. Für mich, Manes am Bosch, NEVER EVER. Nochmal danke an die junge Frau, die alleine auf weiter Flur, den Laden am Freitag Mittag geschmissen hat. Der Chef hat es ja vorgezogen sich im Hintergrund zu verstecken, hat anscheinend kein Konfliktpotenzial. Achim ,

Wir hatten hier unsere Firmen- Weihnachtsfeier. Es war ein gelungener sehr schöner Abend in toller gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Das Buffet und der Service war sehr gut und das Personal super nett und aufmerksam.

Das Ambiente ist für mich einfach der Hammer. Rundherum findet man eine Sammlung von Bierflaschen, die ich persönlich noch nie gesehen habe, aber absolut faszinierend und cool finde. Die Bedienung ist stets freundlich und aufmerksam und immer auf zack. Machen auch hier und da einen kleinen Spass mit, was das ganze noch angenehmer macht. Die Portionen sowie das anrichten auf dem Teller waren echt klasse. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und man war danach wirklich sehr satt. Man sollte hier wirklich mal gegessen und das ganze erlebt haben!

Eigentlich ist alles Top 👍🏻. Essen ist perfekt und leckere Biere gibt es auch. Leider sind wir schon 3 mal abgewiesen worden, weil wir nicht reserviert haben. Wir sind nur zu zweit und waren auch echt früh . Es wurde sich nicht mal bemüht, wir sind direkt unfreundlich abgebügeltet worden. Echt schade ☹️.

PRO Eine Institution. Viele Stammgäste. Für heutige Zeiten überraschend Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhätnis. Leckeres Bier als Eigenmarke, besonders das trübe Landbier. CONTRA Wenn es voll ist, ist es unerträglich laut. Man versteht kaum sein eigenes Wort. Anstrengend. Nichts für Leute mit empfindlichen Ohren. Glattboden, Glasflächen, glatte Wände tragen dazu bei. Einfach umzusetzender Schallschutz durch Vorhänge, Teppiche etc. wäre machbar - es muss ja auch für die Kellner anstrengend sein, die ganze Zeit bei dieser Lautstärke zu arbeiten. Bei einem großen schwedischen Möbelhaus gibt es Schallschlucker, die man wie ein Bild an die Wand hängt. Das wäre doch was.
