My short trip to Bremen was already made even more special by a visit to this excellent restaurant. Great beer, even better food, and outstanding service. I'd happily return!

Great place to try traditional northern dishes

We inadvertently ended up in this beautiful, rustic restaurant with a committed vegan. The sumptuous, delicious salad with fried mushrooms, which the kitchen conjured up especially for him, will remain a lasting memory for the rest of his life. And we remembered the witty, friendly service. Fine wine and classic onion soup, herring – all highly recommended❣️

A wonderful evening at the Kleiner Olymp! I had the herring fillet "Hausfrauenstil" (homemade style) – simply delicious, perfectly seasoned, and truly fresh. The side salad was also a delight. The service was attentive, warm, and professional – you feel completely at home. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, just the right thing for a relaxing team evening. Highly recommended.

What a great place I recommend it.

We were looking for authentic German cuisine for lunch and this restaurant was excellent. The menu had a local selection as well as fantastic dark Pilsner. The service was great and the food delicious.

This is a beautiful old restaurant in a lovely part of Bremen. The orders were taken promptly and the food came quickly, which suits my dining preference very well, but others may want a more drawn out experience. I ordered the local speciality of Bremer Labskaus. A really nice combination of a potato and beef mashed purée, with a fried egg on top, pickled fish of some description (maybe herring), beetroot and gherkins. I thought it was great. If you're looking for haute cuisine, probably not your cup of tea, but if you're looking for hearty fare with a bit of history behind it then this is a really good dish. Their Knipp looked good as well (another local dish with really flat rissoles). I had a piece of the apple cake with cream for pudding. Mmm, lecker, as they say round these parts. Anyway, I would definitely recommend if staying in Bremen.

Really good food in a cozy neighborhood with a hospitable atmosphere

Really, I don't need any more reviews: very nicely located in the Schnoor district, fast and very friendly service. The food came quickly, even though the place was full. Tasted great: what more could you want?

A typical restaurant in Bremen's Schnoor district. German cuisine (the name doesn't suggest it). Small, cozy, quaint, and busy. We had a reservation (6 people) and sat "under the stairs." It was a bit cramped, but still comfortable. Friendly staff and attentive at all times. We did have to wait over an hour for our food order. Everyone had a different meal and everyone was satisfied. Very tasty, and for the Schnoor district, the price/performance ratio was quite good. There's no accounting for taste; you have to try it for yourself, but we liked it!

We ate at this restaurant twice on three evenings during our vacation. They serve good, home-style and regional cuisine. The "Labskaus" and "Knipp" were particularly good. The house beer, "Schnoor Bräu," is also highly recommended.

We were there with a stag or hen party group, put together two small tables, and were told we could only sit separately because the manager didn't want us to form groups. There were six of us. We left immediately...

Beautiful restaurant in the Schnoor district, typical Bremen cuisine, house-made Schnoor beer. We had plaice and pan-fried fish, as well as mussels for starters, all of very good quality and honestly cooked. I definitely recommend it. Thanks also to the friendly waitresses.

The Kleiner Olymp restaurant offers a first-class culinary experience. The pan-fried fish is an absolute highlight, complemented by an excellent selection of wine and freshly brewed Bremen beer. Very cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a special dinner. Food very tasty, very good quality and very nice service. I had fish and my partner had lamb, both served with delicious vegetables. We had a great experience and we highly recommend it!

A small and quaint restaurant in the Schnoor district of the old town. The ambiance is reminiscent of a large ship's cabin, the staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent. Reservations weren't necessary, but that was probably because I arrived around 5 p.m. and the place was still empty. I had the "La Finesse" salad with beef strips and mango dressing. High-quality olive oil and baksamic vinegar were available upon request. Highly recommended!

First time there. Felt at home from the first minute to the last. The atmosphere was Schnoor-like. The food was 10/10. The service was friendly and attentive, with a real can-do attitude. Still, the atmosphere was upscale. I'd go back anytime. The plaice and schnitzel, as well as the baked potato, were delicious.

There were two of us there. For German cuisine, everything was quite good. I especially liked that my request was taken into account – I got a salad instead of potatoes. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together, so you don't really feel like you're being disturbed. A little more space would have been nice.

Nice classic restaurant, with regional food, excellent service and a more than reasonable price

A building over 300 years old. A lovely, rustic atmosphere. The home-brewed beer (Schnoorbräu) is a must (if you haven't tried it yet). And a schnitzel that doesn't come from a frozen store is unfortunately rare these days, but here it's homemade. The fried potatoes are also crispy and delicious. I'd go back anytime :)

The ambiance was beautiful and sophisticated, and everyone (13 people) enjoyed the food, which was highly rated. The service was friendly and attentive. The immediate surroundings, the Schnoorviertel, are also well worth a visit.

We spontaneously went here on Friday and were given a table for an hour by the very friendly staff, as everything else was reserved. The onion soup is the highlight of the starter, and it tastes truly homemade. The main courses (pasta and captain's plate) were delicious and plentiful. The wine was cold and generously poured, and the Schnoor beer was very drinkable. Be sure to make a reservation! It's really worth it.

Little Olympus lives up to its name. Really small but very comfortable. The food was very good and the service too. Very, very nice staff. It was nice there.

Very tasty food and beer. My wife and I ordered Bremer Labskaus and Bremer Knipp. I chose Labskaus, very tasty meat and potatoes. I would also like to say about herring, I didn’t even think that this fish could be so tasty. Pickles go very well with the dish. At Knipp, my wife loved the combination of fries, meat and applesauce.

They kindly gave me a table without a reservation, which I appreciated because I was hungry. I ordered chili prawns as a starter. And for the main course, a pork schnitzel, accompanied by mushrooms and potatoes. Everything was delicious, really tasty. I enjoyed the meal.

On the first day we were unlucky because we didn't get a place. So we reserved a table for the next day by email in the evening. Great restaurant with friendly service. Really quaint there. If you like beer, I can recommend Schnoor-Bräu. The Bremer-Knipp was also super tasty. We felt very comfortable.

Delicious fish dishes, friendly service and a nice ambience

Luckily we had reserved a table and were able to enjoy the evening indoors in a cozy atmosphere on the ground floor. The rustic ambience, the friendliness of the service and the excellent food contributed to a successful evening. My respect to the waitress who has to bring the food up the stairs.

Nothing earth-shattering but all in all very neat. The Labskaus was a bit weak but with pepper and salt from the table it was great. The two ladies really liked the pasta with salmon and the Bremer Knipp was also highly praised. Only the Schnoor Bräu didn't find a friend at our table. Probably a matter of taste... We were there on March 2nd. There for food. The dishes were super tasty and beautifully prepared. Price performance fits. The atmosphere was quaint. The waitress was nice. Unfortunately, after smoking, she came straight to our table, which wasn't so nice.

Very sweet there. Nice old days, so to speak. The food is very tasty and the service is great. Our waitress was quick and very helpful. The selection of dishes is large, but they still respond to individual customer requests and are happy to adapt, like for me, for example as a vegetarian. You can definitely have a good meal there and enjoy the location

We were here for kale dinner. The best kale I've ever eaten in a restaurant. I found it very good that, as an alternative to the kale plate, you could put together a kale plate yourself with the meat side dishes you wanted. We'll definitely be back.
