The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. The service was very friendly. We especially recommend the onion soup (for non-vegetarians). The situation is a bit complicated for vegetarians, but upon asking, we were given two main courses that were also very tasty but weren't on the menu.

I found a super quiet spot in the Schnoor neighborhood! 🤩 It's nothing fancy, the food is just okay, but the staff is incredibly friendly. A perfect place to unwind! 😌 I loved the atmosphere, super cozy and relaxed. The neighborhood offers an authentic experience, and German food is an interesting option for those who want to explore new flavors. It's a great place to start exploring the region's culinary culture. The first impression of the surroundings and the food is perfect for that purpose. The opportunity to discover this corner and its specialties is definitely worthwhile.

We had dinner at this restaurant during a visit to the Bremen Christmas market. The restaurant was very busy, and reservations are necessary, especially during the pre-Christmas season. The food (Bremen pan-fried fish) was delicious and served quickly. The service was friendly, efficient, and attentive. We would recommend a visit.

We had a wonderful, spontaneous culinary evening this summer. Even our large dog was welcome, and the service was attentive and friendly. We were lucky enough to have a table without a reservation for a limited time on Friday night as the restaurant was completely fully booked. The food was amazing and our waitress was excellent , knowledgeable, friendly and professional . I would return to Bremen for this restaurant alone !!!!

Last Friday, our group of eight went to the small Olymp for dinner. The restaurant is charmingly small, and we were seated upstairs. All the food was excellent, the service was truly attentive, and they frequently checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal and if we needed anything. We had a wonderful evening there and would definitely recommend the restaurant. Since we were there during the Christmas market season, it was quite busy. Therefore, we had made a reservation in advance, which is certainly advisable at other times as well.

Delicious food. We had fish and Bremer Knipp (a type of sausage), the service was excellent and very quick, even though the place was full. Reservations are recommended.

My first time trying Bremen Labskaus. Very tasty. Everyone was also very friendly and in good spirits. A lovely atmosphere.

Terrible experience with the brunette lady with the bun at the entry. I just asked of there was a table and she replied in a very rude way. A part from the fact that I saw some places, but it’s ok if they have reservations.. it’s just better to be nicer and less rude/aggressive. Maybe she does not like her job..

Not the cheapest, but the best food I've had in Bremen!

For over 10 years, I've been a regular at the small Olymp restaurant whenever work takes me to Bremen. Even though the prices aren't exactly great (which is true for the entire restaurant industry), I know what to expect: consistent quality, and I feel comfortable there. A little bit of home, even if it isn't ;-)

The service was attentive and friendly.

Unfortunately, there were bones in the fish fillet, the salmon was too salty, and the salad had no vinaigrette. We were somewhat disappointed compared to our last visit!

You caught my attention. I was walking by in the evening and the place really caught my eye — it looked inviting, nicely lit, and open. I went in and spoke to the brunette girl with the bun. I asked if I could have a glass of wine, but she said there were no free tables. I replied that it’s fine, I could just enjoy it at the bar. She said it’s not allowed to drink at the bar. Then I asked if I could sit outside, as there were empty tables there — but she said I couldn’t drink outside either. So, while the staff were polite, and the interior looks beautiful, refusing to serve a guest at all makes this place, unfortunately, a one-star experience for me.

Solid home-style cooking, decent portions, rustic atmosphere and good service, Kräusen beer is always a treat - Conclusion: Worth a try.

This restaurant is suitable for both private events and business meetings. I've always been extremely satisfied with the food and service. The ambiance is also excellent. Highly recommended.

I had reserved a table for three at 1 p.m. today. We arrived a little early, around 12:30 p.m. The door was still closed, but that wasn't a problem since they were just opening. Around 12:40 p.m., a man came, unlocked the door, and immediately closed it again behind him. At 1:10 p.m., still nothing. No response to knocking on the door or a phone call either. What a shame... what's going on?!

A very nice, cozy restaurant with delicious food and very friendly staff. The kale with Bremer Pinkel sausage, Labskaus (a traditional sailor's stew), and Bremer Knipp (a type of sausage) are highly recommended.

A truly fantastic restaurant. I was a little disappointed that the kale menu hadn't been published online yet, but I was all the more thrilled that they already had kale. The best thing is that you can choose your side dishes flexibly, and that they offer fried potatoes as well as boiled potatoes. But even if it's not exactly kale season, the food at Little Olymp is simply top-notch. The only downside is that the restaurant is very small. If you arrive at 12:30, you have a good chance of getting a seat. Otherwise, a reservation is not only recommended, but absolutely necessary. Little Olymp is a great place to stop after a long stroll through the Schnoor district; you can feel very comfortable here.

I had a schnitzel and some appetizers. It was very delicious, and the staff were cheerful and polite and spoke English well, so even though I don't speak German I was able to enjoy my meal without any problems. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and I was able to enjoy a European feel, which was great.

The food was delicious. The portion size... 2 out of 3 people weren't quite full 😉 but that could also be our fault 🤣 Service was very nice. We asked to change tables because it was quite tight with 3 people at the small table. We were able to move, but only within a limited time, as the table was reserved again. We managed. We would have definitely stayed longer, but that wasn't possible. So we went on a walk through the community.

We stopped here spontaneously for dessert and a beer, and despite the limited number of tables, we still managed to get a seat. The service was very friendly, and they serve traditional Schnoor beer. They also had Bremen red berry compote with vanilla sauce. The sauce was wonderfully creamy and light, yet intensely vanilla-flavored. The red berry compote with cherries, strawberries, currants, and blackberries was also very good. I would definitely recommend it.

The place is really cozy. However, the older waitress is quite tense and doesn't even know her own menu. She only gives rude answers and scares us away after just three minutes.

We come with 8 peoples .. and they do not accept customers more than 6 .. even though we ask politely that we can sit seperately … Very very bad experience in bremen.. The girl waitress is rude too. If you are asians , do not come to this restaurant you might get racist here.

I'd been looking forward to plaice for days, and it looked good, but the taste was a complete disappointment. The plaice was watery and completely tasteless. Fried potatoes and beer were great, but they didn't make the plaice any better. It's a shame. I can't understand the good reviews. I'm really frustrated. The plaice wasn't the Little Olympus, more like the Mariana Trench. The food was great at the Knurrhahn restaurant; the fish and potato salad there were fantastic.

We liked the look of this restaurant and continued walking by, but it began raining and we quickly went back to here. Luckily we had one of the last unreserved tables. Our waitress was really friendly and helped us through the menu. We had superb food and beer.

The traditional Bremen Knipp (a kind of German dish) was excellent, although perhaps a bit more expensive than outside the city center (due to its location).

A Bremen institution. Quaint and beautifully decorated. There's a great selection of regional cuisine, and the quality is very good everywhere. Everything tasted delicious. I also have great respect for the waiters, who have to keep going up and down the stairs. The prices are reasonable, as the portions are also generously sized. Vegetarian dishes are also available upon request, but we'd love to add one or two more dishes to the menu.

Very good food and Bremen-style comfort

You can see it again: you can prepare a great meal with just a few good ingredients. The taste is completely convincing. A place steeped in history. I felt very comfortable there, as the very attentive service also contributed to the excellent result. My order was a real hit with the taste and did not disappoint. Great food without any frills, and then a great, cold, fresh beer to go with it!! Simple can be so good!!

Fantastic place, in my experience there are a lot of guests every night, despite this the professional staff always manages to ensure that everyone can eat there with little waiting! We walked in and were greeted warmly and immediately felt at home. We had a fantastic meal: carrot soup with feta cheese was a dream. For the main course, we had spaghetti with prawns and cherry tomatoes, and mushroom schnitzel with fried potatoes. We couldn't help but love it. We'd love to come back.

We were there with a group of 13 people and received very friendly service. The food arrived very quickly for everyone, and special requests were also fulfilled promptly. Food: The menu is a real highlight – not too extensive, but very well thought out. Every dish we tried was prepared with love and impressed us with its freshness and quality. The cuisine is traditional German, but by no means old-fashioned. Classic dishes like rump steak, schnitzel, fried potatoes, and various pasta and fish dishes are perfectly prepared here – perfectly balanced in flavor and beautifully presented. The best food in Bremen. I tasted decently spicy spaghetti with shrimps - yum. Then some local specialty - like hash. Also yum. And I had matjesy with roasted potatoes - yum. And a local beer. I recommend it. However, without a reservation, no chance. (Apologies for the blurry photos)

I ordered the French fish soup, and it was very, very simple — I’d even say tasteless. The main course was fish with potatoes, but unfortunately, that was also lacking flavor, especially the side dish. Luckily, there’s salt on the table, so I could at least make it a bit more enjoyable. The restaurant itself looks much prettier and more authentic than the food tastes. However, the waitresses were extremely kind and friendly — they did an excellent job, and I have nothing bad to say about the service.
