Gaststätte Jahnke in Magdeburg

So eine schöne Perle der Magdeburger Gastronomie. Tolle Menschen, tolles Essen und gutes Bier. Vorallem alles zu fairen Preisen.

Eine sehr ursprüngliche Kneipe mit rustikalen Charme. Solche typischen Kneipen gibt es leider immer weniger. Das Essen ist lecker und ohne viel Schnickschnack. Bitte bewahrt dieses Kulturgut.

Ich bin auf der Durchreise in Magdeburg und war auf der Suche nach einem authentischen deutschen Restaurant. Und hier bin ich fündig geworden. Eine wirklich authentische Gaststätte bei der man sich in die guten alten Zeiten zurückversetzt fühlt. Und das ist jetzt vollumfänglich positiv gemeint. Unfassbar freundliche Betreiber und ein Charme dem man woanders vergeblich sucht. Jeder Gast der reinkommt begrüßt erstmal alle Anwesenden in der Gaststätte. Eine tolle Auswahl an klassischen deutschen Gerichten zu einem absolut fantastischen Preis. Aktuell gab es auch Spargel. Geschmacklich war es absolut top - wirklich als ob es direkt von meiner Mutter gemacht wäre. Wenn ich in Magdeburg wohnen würde wäre ich auf jeden Fall Stammgast dort! So bleibt mir nur wieder vorbei zu schauen wenn ich das nächste Mal in Magdeburg bin. In meinen Augen ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Vielen Dank für die wirklich tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Eigentlich 6 Sterne! Hier muß Udo Jürgens gewesen sein, als er sein Lied „ Die kleine Kneipe…“ geschrieben hat! Das ist noch ein Original, wie es immer seltener wird. Kennt Ihr auch nur eine Kneipe, in der man reservieren muß??? Hier solltet Ihr das abends dringend tun!! Ich denke, das sagt alles! Das Essen ist mega lecker, die Menschen, die Athmosphäre- einfach nur unglaublich schön! Hier wird ein Stück Geschichte und Flair vergangener Tage mit viel Herzblut und Liebe am Leben erhalten! Und noch eins: Das alles machen nur drei Frauen. Allein! Also geht hin, genießt es und denkt bitte an ein ordentliches Trinkgeld für die Mädels!

Unter Erichs mahnenden Blick werden zwischen Rauchschwaden wunderbare Kneipen Gespräche geführt. Dazu gibt's hausgemachte Sülze und über die perfekte knusprigkeit der Pommes wird sich eifrig ausgetauscht. Eigentlich müsste an den Laden ein Aufkleber Kulturschutz Gebiet dran. Ein Platz an dem jeder unabhängig von Einkommen und Klasse willkommen ist , solange man an jedem Tisch klopft und kein mist baut. Ein wunderbarer Platz.

Einfach geil Oldschool und das beste Schnitzel au four was ich je gegessen habe. Ey diese Bratkartoffeln dazu waren vom anderen Stern. Megaaaa.

Es ist eine Kneipe, wo die Zeit um die Wendezeit ein bisschen stehen geblieben ist. (Das muss man mögen oder klaglos akzeptieren PUNKT!) Die Küche bietet eine kleine Auswahl an Hausmannskost und schmeckt sehr gut. Rauchen ist erlaubt. Das Personal ist magdeburgerisch freundlich. Es ist nie ganz leer, oft gut besucht oder voll. Wenn man vorsätzlich hingeht, sollte man vorher reservieren. Ich bin nicht oft, aber immer wieder sehr gerne dort. Ich fahre dafür auch gerne von außerhalb an.

Tolle Charakter-Kneipe und eine echte Zeitreise in eine vergangene Zeit. Herzlicher Service, geiles Essen, leckeres Bier. Kein Schickimicki.

Ein Abend bei Jahnke war jedesmal ein Highlight während meiner 2 Jahre in MD, kann ich nur empfehlen! Essen, Ambiente und die Menschen da waren jedesmal eine Freude! Bonus, dass man da rauchen darf, wie in guten alten Zeiten! (Sagen auch Leute mit Geburtsjahr Mitte 90er). Grüsse an das ganze Team aus dem Süden, da fahre ich gerne wiedermal hin!

Man fühlt sich schon in alte Zeiten zurückversetzt, wenn man diese Kneipe betritt und unter Erichs Beobachtungen isst. Bedienung ist sehr nett und das Essen war prima.

Das ist ein Stück Geschichte. Geht da hin, zahlt bar und lasst ordentlich Trinkgeld dort. Solche Orte müssen bleiben.

Short form! I wanted to watch the second semi-final of the DFB Cup, I was hungry and thirsty for good beer and I had my Labrador with me. I would give 10 out of 10 for all my wishes! And 11 out of 10 for the great service.

Just awesome! Can you write that? Rustic, authentic and super nice pub! Certainly a culture shock for some, but for the trained GDR citizen a “coming home” The staff and boss are super nice and up for a chat. The food (made with a lot of love) tastes great and is available for a fair price! Oh well: nothing for the “militant Non-smoker!” Smoking bar!! Thank you again for the lovely evening! It's a small, quaint pub. When you come in it's like... "back in time". A beautiful old GDR pub, just like it used to be. You talk to everyone. Everyone says good day or goodbye to each other with a knock on the table. The staff and the owner are very friendly and accommodating. We laughed a lot and, above all, ate and drank well. The home cooking is awesome. There were five of us. We all enjoyed it 😋. We'll definitely be back. There is a small hall for rent and in summer you can sit outside on a small terrace. If you want to eat really good home cooking, come here. But even just a small beer in the evening and a little chat is possible here. Please keep it up 🙏🏼 👍🏼 👏🏼

This pub brings back memories of GDR times in me, great people, great food. Above all, the two great owners always treat you like a friend.😍💕Simply unbelievably great. Thank you for letting me experience it again. I'll go there at least once 60 km a month and more often.😂

A restaurant that is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. Typical original where smoking is still allowed in the restaurant. It is marked on the outside as a smoking establishment and already has that flair of the past. Simple German cuisine of very good quality and taste, the portions are very sufficient and a very good price-performance ratio.

What a disappointment not to be able to taste these dishes which looked delicious. We were turned away because you have to be 18 to eat there. Forbidden to children. The site could report this.

Tip top food, great service and an original cook

My husband and I were visiting Magdeburg for the first time and while looking for a restaurant with classic home cooking we came across the Jahnke restaurant. The food is simply great. Freshly prepared, large portions and damn tasty. The ambience is a wonderful journey into the past and the service is top notch. There is a relaxed, open atmosphere. If we lived in Magdeburg, this would definitely be our favorite pub. We will definitely come back to Magdeburg and we have already decided where we will stop off...

A journey through time... always happy!

A neighborhood pub, people are smoking inside. A quiet place for people who knows each other.. strangers are being judged and can easily feel they dont belong.

Visiting this pub/restaurant was totally coincidental. Very friendly service, delicious home cooking and a completely different atmosphere. Nothing fancy... but very quaint. We felt very comfortable

You have to experience it once. The food is very, very, very tasty. The atmosphere is cozy, rustic and unique. The service and hospitality are excellent. One thing you should know is that this is a smoking establishment. Access from 18 years. We will be back definitely.

Great... was recently there with friends from Magdeburg, the first time... Simply cozy and down-to-earth, honest, smokers' bar!, doesn't bother me at all, as a non-smoker, it's like before...- the landlady and the cook are also very nice..- and the food tastes great, and the beer is well chilled!

The oldest pub in Magdeburg exudes the charm of earlier days and in a positive sense. Little by little the guest rooms are being spruced up. The food is super tasty, sufficient and inexpensive. The service was really lovely. Keep it up!

This restaurant is one of the last in Magdeburg that can be called a rustic corner pub. Plus, the food here is simply delicious. For those who like it, you can smoke here. Not so nice for me, so one point deducted. But that is a personal opinion. I'd love to go there again with friends. P.S. For me, one point deducted because of smoking...

A journey back in time to East Germany to the oldest pub in the city - absolutely authentic with lovely ladies at the counter and in the kitchen and guests who greet each other when they come and go. As uncomfortable as I feel in modern GroupieHippsterItGirlLounges and shisha bars, I feel just as comfortable here at a jam session, a game of skat or just a beer. Thanks for that...

We found out about the oldest corner pub in Magdeburg. So we got there through the Schlemmerblock and were not disappointed. 6 tables, a small counter, super friendly service, hearty home cooking, darts, old charm with matching furniture and inventory. Food was delicious. The boss is still cooking. Here the stranger is also greeted with a pat on the table and farewell. We didn't feel like strangers at all. It was really a great time. Smoking is allowed but it doesn't really bother you. The men's toilet with a gutter like that. You don't see that often. It's really funny. Can only recommend this restaurant. There is also often live music there.

Spontaneous decision to stay there. Got a table without a reservation. The welcome and subsequent service were warm and very customer friendly. The food...what can I say... SUPER! Everything obviously homemade, fresh and delicious. The service was just great! It wasn't just Melanie, the others were also very nice and accommodating. Definitely an insider tip for anyone who wants to experience a really nice evening with delicious food and authentic hospitality. I'll definitely come back. You can already mark me as a regular customer.

A journey back in time to the GDR. People still smoke here and the bill is calculated on the lid - wonderful. The food is pure home cooking and is okay.

Wenn mehr als fünf Sterne gehen würden, ich würde sie vergeben. So etwas gibt es in Magdeburg und Umgebung nicht nochmal. Super nette Bedienung, perfektes Essen und Trinken zu mehr als nur moderaten Preisen. Selbst als Nichtraucher war es völlig okay drinnen. Wir kommen wieder, wenn nicht sogar regelmäßig. Absolut klasse und schön, dass es so etwas noch in Magdeburg gibt.

Immer wieder gerne - Jahnke ist einfach Kult. Das Essen ist von Siggi selbst gekocht und das Ambiente ist unschlagbar für Magdeburg. Meine Lieblingskneipe.

Super authentisches und bodenständiges Gasthaus. Die Wirtin hat uns super nett empfangen und sich direkt die Zeit genommen, sich ein bisschen mit uns zu unterhalten. Die Karte hatte eine gute Auswahl an gut bürgerlichem Essen - nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Preise waren mehr als fair! Die Portionen waren genau richtig und das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Achtung: Raucherkneipe. Hat uns als Nichtraucher aber gar nicht gestört, muss man nur wissen. :-)

Wer die alten Zeiten und super leckeres Schnitzel mag, ist hier genau richtig. Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. 😊

Nostalgie pur. Super nette Bedienung, Essen wie bei Mama. Jeder der kommt oder geht, klopft auf den Tisch, das habe ich seit Jahrzehnten nicht erlebt. Man fühlt sich hier einfach wohl und willkommen.

Wir haben uns mit mehreren Freunden/Arbeitskollegen aus Deutschland in der Gaststätte Jahnke getroffen. Angereist sind wir aus dem dem Raum Düsseldorf. Angetroffen haben wir eine gemütliche Urige Kneipe. Wir wurden herzlich Begrüßt, gut Bewirtet und bekamen eine große Portion Hausmannskost. Die Kinder konnten gut beschäftigt werden. Der Biergarten bot auch die Möglichkeit an der Frischen Luft zu sitzen. Die Bedienung war flott und freundlich. Die Magdeburger offen für Gespräche. Ein gelungener Abend. Gerne wieder. =)

So leckere Hausmannskost so nett serviert, da gibt's nix zu meckern. Es ist kein Restaurant mit feiner Tischwäsche sondern ein Ort für Menschen, die gut und gegen angemessene Bezahlung essen und trinken wollen. Garniert mit herzlichen Gastgeberinnen war das für uns "fremde" Franken ein sehr schöner Abend.
