Delicious and always worth a visit

We were here as a "tour group" with three families and were completely satisfied. Yes, the hotel may be a bit dated in some places, but you just feel really comfortable, and that definitely outweighs the negatives. Incredibly friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating. We had a family room: two separate bedrooms, a lounge area with a sofa and TV, and a small bathroom, absolutely top-notch. The food is fantastic, especially the breakfast, and especially worth mentioning: the cake ;) We booked the barbecue hut, but we wouldn't necessarily do it again next time. But that was more down to the kids :D And the food in the restaurant is simply amazing; you don't necessarily have to have a barbecue. In the basement, there's a ping-pong table and a pool table, which was great for our kids. Outside, there's a small playground and a trampoline. The lounge at the very top of the house (Giebelstube) is also great if you're traveling with several families and need a place where everyone can gather. We'd definitely love to come back! We reserved a table by phone on May 28, 2025, for our wedding anniversary, for Monday, June 2, 2025. When we arrived promptly at 6:00 PM today, June 2, 2025, and wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary with good food and drinks, the staff showed us the door. They said, "We don't have enough guests!" When we pointed out that we had pre-ordered, they simply replied, "There's no order!" When we pointed out that we had spoken to a man on the phone, the ladies said he was the only German on staff and would mess everything up anyway. Without any effort to limit the damage, without any apology, we were shown the door. This will certainly have repercussions, as it not only caused us immense psychological harm, but also financial loss. I posted this review on June 2, 2025, and today it was deleted!

Beautiful restaurant. Friendly owners. Fruity, fresh, and well-mixed. 5/5 food points.
