Absolutely delicious roulades with vegetables and dumplings. It couldn't be better, and they're also really reasonably priced! Very friendly hosts. I'd go back anytime.

As an American coming to Germany for the first time I didn't know what to expect from this hotel. It was so much above my expectations! Clean beyond expectations everyday. Breakfast and dinners were phenomenal! The host was so kind and accommodating (especially since I speak no German). The location was close to other restaurants too. We were passing through by bike... we can only report positive things "friendly contact, food was very good, storage space for the bikes" we will definitely stop again...😃

We actually wanted to try the restaurant. According to Maps it is open, but on site it says it is only open in the evenings...

Very friendly and clean hotel, excellent breakfast and cuisine and fair pricing. Our personal favourite whenever we are in the region between Ansbach and Nuremberg.

Stopped here on the way home for Christmas. It was wonderful, I had Schäufele and Pils on tap - very tasty.

My review only concerns the food in the restaurant, I can't say anything about the hotel. We stopped here for dinner today (November 18th) and felt very comfortable from start to finish: super friendly welcome & great service from the owner, great selection of food (it's really hard to decide, it all sounds fantastic), absolutely delicious Food (we had roast venison from the leg with dumpling, cranberries and side salad - very tasty!) and cozy and very well-kept furnishings. Be sure to reserve! We would definitely love to come back here! Small addendum: Because we really enjoyed it (and enjoyed it!) here, we were here again two weeks later - on December 2nd, 2023. It's now decorated for Christmas and I ate a fantastic piece of beef brisket with horseradish sauce, boiled potatoes and cranberries! The owner of the restaurant, who once again treated and served us incredibly friendly, attentive and courteous, is simply wonderful. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Wir haben auf der Durchfahrt zum Abendessen im Stern Halt gemacht und die Entscheidung nicht bereut. Freundlicher Service und sehr gute fränkische Küche, dazu ein Zwickl (Beifahrer 😉) - so lässt sich der Tag ausklingen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Sauerbraten und der Rehbraten. Sehr lecker ausgesehen hat alles, was um uns herum an die Tische gebracht wurde. Das ganze zu wirklich sehr günstigen Preisen.

Super leckere fränkische Küche, wirklich außergewöhnlich gut zu typisch fränkischen (für Frankfurter günstige) Preise. Ausstattung gehobener Landgasthof, Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.
