Gaststätte Forsteibrunnen in Radolfzell am Bodensee

The food was okay for a beach resort, but nothing special. It was also very expensive and the portions were small.

We also can't understand the negative reviews! Today we spontaneously went out for dinner with 6 adults and 3 children. We ordered various dishes. Everything was quick, the service was 5-star, and the food was surprisingly good! The fish, cevapcici (homemade), potatoes, fries, and venison ragout were all excellent. We'll definitely be back. A restaurant in Radolfzell with such good food—we locals should support it!

We've been happily visiting the beach café for many years, often for family celebrations, both large and small. We love the beautiful setting right on the lake, and it's perfect in every season. Inside, everything is always lovely and elegantly set. The service is consistently excellent, and they are very attentive to guests' needs. We've never had any complaints about the service; quite the opposite, in fact. While wait times can sometimes be a bit longer on holidays or in the height of summer (though they don't have to be), this can be minimized with good planning (booking a table in advance). And if it does take a little longer, just enjoy the lovely atmosphere and the stunning view of Lake Constance 😉. The food has been delicious on every visit – including today's (we had the duck breast and the vegetable platter, among other things). They are happy to accommodate special requests (time permitting), for example, when serving elderly guests who may not have the hearty appetite. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our waiter again for his excellent service. Since the portions are always so generous, we unfortunately never manage to try the cakes after our meal 😂😭. It's such a shame, because they always look so delicious and tempting 😉. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Very nice host...delicious tapas and tasty sparkling wine🥂 Highly recommended for a small snack or a sumptuous meal 👍 PS And they sometimes pour an extra sip...I can only say, TOP 😊

The price is really reasonable. The meat is excellent and the food is generally very tasty. The service is also very friendly. I will definitely come back here.
