Gaststätte Fischhaus in Naumburg (Saale)

The day before yesterday we had lunch with 26 people. Super attentive service, food almost at the same time and very good, so perfect. Prices like everywhere else. Clear recommendation.

Service was very good and so was the food.

A nice place to stop after a long bike ride. The waiter is funny and the food is plentiful and very tasty.

A beautiful area directly on the Saale. Terrace in front of the restaurant leading to the tavern is lovingly framed with vines. Very attentive staff, excellent service, deliciously prepared dishes. Keep it up!!!

Had a very tasty lunch. Beautiful outdoor space directly on the Saale. Trout is offered in three different versions and what a surprise, the bones were very cleverly removed, you couldn't see it because the head was still on. Catfish and zander are also recommended. But if you don't like fish, there are also very tasty meat dishes.

Traditional home cooking, very good. However, no card payment option is absolutely outdated and old-fashioned!

The visually somewhat outdated restaurant is located in the middle of the Saale. Ideal as a rest point for hikers and cyclists. The staff were very friendly and you could tell that they got along well with each other. The food was home-style, like “at mother’s”. The portions are generous and nicely prepared. We'll definitely come by again.

Because of the great ambience, you'll be happy to settle down here - but you'll be more than disappointed by both the service and the food.. Omelette for 15 euros made from ready-made potatoes and a bag of eggs.. Convenience par excellence.. when the service arrives you will yelled at with a “friendly” >>Schnitzeeeeel<<. Bottle of wine to go 28 euros, a few meters earlier 12 euros. Without words - never again!

The service was okay, the food was like from the snack bar at the border crossing with Poland. It's a shame, you're taking advantage of the good location on the Saale. Bottle of Weil to take away €28, unbelievable

By bike from Naumburg to Bad Kösen on the Saale cycle path, this is the first and, I believe, only restaurant on the way. You look forward to a drink at 30°. Note the rest day!

We were guests at the fish house as part of a hike. Idyllic and easy to reach, located directly on the Saale cycle path and equipped with many places. Parking spaces are right in front of the door and can also be easily reached via an asphalt road from the direction of Schulpforta. From ordering to eating it took less than 10 minutes and even though it was packed, it was great! And it tasted good too! Toilets are available and were clean. Access to the restaurant is barrier-free, but unfortunately access to the terrace on the Saale is not. Card payment was not possible during our visit. It's probably like that more often. You have to know and always have enough cash with you, otherwise you have to wash the dishes :)

Beautiful restaurant perfect to reach by bike or by car. Home cooking. And it tastes delicious too. Gladly again.

Food was tasty, service was quick, you didn't have to wait long for food, my first impression: remote, but always full house. You should register by phone in advance!👍(Be careful with children - the Saale is in the immediate vicinity!)

Beautifully located on the Saale as a rest area for cyclists. Be careful: the innkeepers only accept cash payments. We were there with several people and ordered various fish dishes. The vegetable side dishes are prepared there with Hollandaise sauce, not to everyone's taste.

Had to wait a very long time for the food, it was not the fault of the lady or the cook, who were both alone unfortunately...

A small but nice restaurant. Arrived by canoe. Prices are high. Food was ready very quickly for 14 people. I assume it was just prepared quickly. Tasty but still very little for the price. Service was top. Very clean and attentive.

Great view of the Saale and good fish for such a well-known excursion restaurant. Nice and friendly service. A trip is worth it.

I just ordered two beers and an older lady replied: “Not now, it will take 15 to 20 minutes”. And all in one tone, really. There are 3 people behind the counter and 2 more women in service, plus a young girl for the dishes. We're talking about 2 beers here and not a huge order. And the sound makes the music. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The lady should please go into her well-deserved retirement and let younger people do it.

A little more expensive, but everything else perfect. Great food.

It's always nice to stay here on a hike between Roßbach and Bad Kösen.

The Fischerhaus near Naumburg an der Saale impresses with its picturesque location and cozy atmosphere. The traditional German cuisine, paired with fresh fish dishes, is convincing across the board. The friendly service and the idyllic surroundings make the visit unforgettable. Recommended especially for the wine mile.

Actually a very nice place, but we were on our way to the wine mile on the Saale. So it was very crowded and not really comfortable. There were just simple things that weren't bad.

Were here every year, the food and price have noticeably changed for the worse

Men's Day. 32€ for a bottle of wine. 26€ for 4 glasses of 0.2l? Steak half done, not eating well. The service was a bit unfriendly and it took 4m for a bottle from the fridge.

Unfortunately closed on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, even though it says "open" everywhere!

Great location on the Saale, the food is great, the service is friendly and accommodating. We have always eaten well here 40 years ago and wish the operators a full house and perseverance in the future.

Great food but unfortunately not for a tight budget and no EC payment possible. The restaurant is really comfortably furnished and the service is very warm and relaxed.

Went here for lunch on Saturday. There were three of us and the restaurant was pretty busy. We ate the Rostbrätel twice and the farmer's breakfast once. Due to the number of people in the restaurant, we expected a longer wait, but we were proven wrong. Quick, friendly service, quickly prepared and extremely tasty food, a return visit is guaranteed!

Were there on Sunday without a reservation. The staff still made it possible for us to eat. Very nice staff and the food is great. Thanks again to the entire team.

Small but fine restaurant... Since this has been around for a long time, you don't need to write that much... Right on the bike path and through the bridge you can get directly to the vineyards on the other side... It's nice to eat here sober 😂 it's the golden mean of the wine mile (the one mockery for beer) Gladly again

The food was great, a little less decoration would be better then it wasn't too busy.

We had lunch there for the first time. Very pleasant atmosphere, lovingly set table. We had a really delicious fish soup and roast meat. Everything was very tasty. We really liked it.

If you look at the size of the map and the size of the location, you could have come to the conclusion: finished products wherever you look. In addition, the dishes were prepared carelessly: fish hard-drilled and beef overcooked and over-seasoned, drowned in floury sauce. The apple strudel came out of the microwave soggy and drowned in packet vanilla and chocolate sauce. The service was friendly and relatively quick.

Very nice service and a good selection of fish. We recommend everything from fish sandwiches to trout.

Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung und man muss nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Wir waren mehrere Personen, jeder hatte ein anderes Gericht und alles war super, waren sehr begeistert. Kann man absolut empfehlen

Essen ist sehr gut und wurde auch schnell an den Tisch gebracht. Bedienung ist freundlich und geht auf die Wünsche des Gastes ein. Kommen sehr gerne wieder und hoffen das es das Lokal noch lange gibt.

Wie jedesmal ein sehr leckeres Essen mit freundlichen Personal. Wir hatten auch zu Weihnachten Gänseteile vom Fischhaus für zu Hause geholt, dass war auch super Lecker. Nur zu empfehlen.

Hier füllt man sich wohl bei leckerem Essen und super nettem Personal. Ein Ort zum Verweilen und Genießen.

Waren heute zum mittagessen und haben noch einen Platz bekommen. Die Forelle Müllerin war äußerst lecker, heiß und frisch. Die kellnerin war sehr nett und freundlich. Vielen dank für die tollen Essen.

Wundervoll an der Saale gelegen. Rustikales Ambiente, tolle Gaststube, freundliche Bedienung, rundum gemütlich. Bestellung wird schnell und freundlich aufgenommen, mit kleinen Späßen 😉. Speisekarte ist reichhaltig, für jeden Gaumen etwas dabei. Die Portionen sind absolut, Preis -Leistung total gerechtfertigt. Beim Wandern oder als direktes Ziel....das Fischhaus ist die Einkehr mehr als wert.

… ein bissel in die Jahre gekommen, preislich stark angestiegen, geschmacklich OK (Kohlrabi-Schnitzel waren sehr hart!) - aber schnelle Bedienung.

Schöne Gaststätte, gute Lage, von den Weinbergen fußläufig erreichbar, Essen sehr schmackhaft, ob Fisch, Fleisch oder vegetarisch, Inneneinrichtung könnte gemütlicher sein, Platzierung der Gäste undurchsichtig, weil nicht ausgebucht, ansonsten gerne wieder

Von Freunden empfohlen... Zuerst waren wir skeptisch wegen der negativen Rezensionen... Aber!! Wir waren rundum begeistert und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, an keiner Stelle gab es etwas zu beanstanden. Freundlicher und emsiger Service ist ja heute rar! Wir kommen gern wieder! Reservieren ist von Vorteil da das Fischhaus sehr gut besucht ist. Der Rechenmeister beeindruckte uns außerdem :) :)

Sehr freundlich, aber plump, Es ist ein Fischhaus, doch die Fleischgerichte sind schmackhafter. Die Fische schmecken alle gleich. Im Sommer an der Saale mag das gut sein. Preis Leistung ist grenzwertig. Ich mag die Bemühungen. Wünsche denen eine Eingebung, womit sie es reißen können.

Das Fischhaus ist, als besonderes Restaurant einer unserer liebsten Anlaufpunkte. Es ist direkt an der Saale gelegen und im Sommer kann man auf einer wunderschönen Salle-Terrasse im freien sitzen und leckere regionale Weine verkosten oder andere Erfrischungen zu sich nehmen. Der Service ist perfekt, die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, haben immer einen lockeren Spruch auf den Lippen. Es wird in regelmäßigen Abständen nach dem Wohlbefinden gefragt, sodass es einem an nichts mangelt. Die Speisen sind liebevoll zubereitet und es wird auf alle Extrawünsche eingegangen, wenn man diese vorher anspricht. Sowohl Fleisch als auch Fisch und vegetarische Gerichte sind exquisit ausgewählt und hervorragend angerichtet. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, hier sollte wirklich jeder etwas finden. Wir hatten diesmal die Rinderrouladen vom Galloway mit Rotkohl, ein Welsfilet mit Kartoffelecken und einer Gemüsevariation mit einer feinen Sauce Bernaise und einen Wildteller mit Preiselbeeren und Kroketten. Alle Gerichte waren ausgezeichnet und ließen keine Wünsche offen. Passend zur Jahreszeit hatten wir einen Federweißer aus der Region, der wirklich fantastisch war. Auch verschiedene Fassbiere sind im Angebot. Alles in allem fanden wir uns wirklich wohl umsorgt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!
