Wie immer äußerst lecker!! Gute Preise und nettes Personal.

Essen war sehr gut. Bedienung freundlich, alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Essen und Getränke kam trotz vollen Hauses schnell.

Bemerkenswert gutes, ehrliches und bodenständiges Essen. Ordentliche Portionen zu guten Preisen. Alles umrahmt von herzlichen Personal und wunderbarem Ambiente. Unsere uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Wir waren noch nie so begeistert von einem Restaurant wie von der Donaulände!!! Das Essen einfach der Hammer! Preis Leistung top und die Servicekräfte allesamt freundlich hilfsbereit und auch sehr Kinderlieb! Gehen dort sehr gerne hin und freun uns schon aufs nächste Mal:)

Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut. Wir saßen zu 17t im Biergarten, aber auch die Innenräume sind sehr schön. Wir hatten reserviert, was gerade bei größeren Gruppen empfehlenswert ist.

Sehr schönes Lokal, direkt am Wasser. Tolle Bierkarte, leckeres Essen!

Schneller und freundlicher Service. Viele Gerichte enthalten Schweinefleisch, aber kein Hühnchen oder Fisch. Es gab jedoch ein Gericht mit Garnelen. Nur Barzahlung, keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

Gutes Essen, freundlicher Service, schöne Terrasse

Liegt ein wenig versteckt aber ist die Anfahrt auf jeden Fall wert. Wir lieben es, auf der Terrasse mit tollem Blick auf die Donau zu sitzen und das gute Essen und den freundlichen Service zu genießen. Auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist erwähnenswert.

Restaurant ist in die Jahre gekommen müsste mal auf den neues Stand bringen auch der Campingplatz ist noch von 50 Jahren ansonsten war schön dort 👍

Wir haben mit unserem Sportboot angelegt und waren mit unseren zwei kleinen Kids unterwegs. Service top, Essen super, super zuvorkommend, Portionen riesig- einfach perfekt.

Das Mittagessen, Sauerbraten und Schweinbraten, empfinde ich als sehr gut.

We went there for lunch on Christmas Day with 12 adults and 2 children. Although it was very busy around lunchtime, we were served quickly and courteously, both with drinks and food. My hunter's pork tenderloin was delicious. Excellent service on such a busy day. The price was absolutely fair, and I can highly recommend the restaurant; it wasn't my first time there.

A perfect place, a lovely atmosphere, friendly service, only my meal (a cordon bleu) was disappointing. (The meat and preparation weren't up to the quality I expected for the price.) If you often order the same dish at different restaurants, you naturally have something to compare it to. Without the food, the visit would have been perfect. Still recommended, perhaps next time with a different dish...

It's really nice here, the staff are incredibly friendly, I really recommend it. They even think about parking for buses, etc. Simply good. 🙂

Hearty home cooking, good and affordable

We've been visiting this restaurant for many years. The food is outstanding, the service impeccable, and the view of the Danube from the terrace is beautiful. On nice days, be sure to make a reservation.

The food is good and reasonably priced. There are numerous shady tables on the terrace overlooking the Danube. Anyone who still hasn't figured out the card-payment option by 2025 will lose a star.

We stayed at the campsite for two days. Mostly permanent pitches, but there are a few spots along the water for tents and caravans/campers. The owner is friendly and helpful whenever needed. The sanitary facilities are very clean and tidy. Showers cost 50 cents. The food at Gaststätte is delicious.

If you're looking for a restaurant with a beautiful view of the Danube, good food, and friendly service, then the Donaulände restaurant is the place for you. Everything fits perfectly here!

Today I had spaghetti aglio e olio with shrimp. Even at an Italian restaurant in Munich, you can't get the quality and flavor you get here. Not just two dry shrimp and two sad tomatoes. No, a portion that fills everyone up, and the consistency and taste are fantastic. Simply amazing, I'll order it again whenever it's on the daily menu. Thank you for this culinary experience.

A place to feel at home, with a great location right on the Danube with a small boat dock. We spent five days in the region by boat. The menu and the food were, without exaggeration, excellent. The service staff were always friendly, attentive, and attentive. The value for money is very positive for me, coming from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The Donaulende in Karpfelberg exceeded my expectations! The food was sensationally good and tantalized my taste buds. The ambiance was perfect – harmonious and inviting, ideal for a relaxed evening. I would especially like to emphasize the very friendly service, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I can highly recommend the Donaulende and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We visited here three evenings this Whitsun weekend and enjoyed a variety of dishes. Everything was delicious, easy to digest, and the prices are unbeatable! Even when the restaurant is packed, the service is always friendly and prompt. We highly recommend it!

The roast pork with its dark gravy is a poem - the venison and sauerbraten are delicious! Nothing is left to be desired here, and cake and tart lovers will also be delighted! Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food. We waited 10 minutes. There were three waiters there, chatting among themselves. The terrace wasn't particularly busy, considering it was a Tuesday afternoon. But unfortunately, we weren't served. We left. It's a shame, really, because the terrace is in a nice location.

Enjoying delicious asparagus or a paprika schnitzel right on the bike path along the Danube – that's pure vacation. The waiters also do a great job.

Today we were there for the first time (3 people) we all had the beef steak. We were very excited. The side salad with homemade dressing. The steak was top quality in terms of cooking (English). The croquettes as they should be. Super crispy on the outside and velvety on the inside. The pepper sauce was so delicious that we wanted to lick the plate. Very beautifully presented to the eye. Price performance absolutely justified. Service was great. Despite it being busy, everyone was friendly, quick and attentive (empty glasses). The ambience is bright and inviting. Parking spaces are available in front of the restaurant. We've driven past it many times and never knew what good thing we were missing out on. We'll be back. By the way, we are professionals (cooks and butchers).

The food is absolutely recommended. Very tasty and good portions. The service was great and all the employees were very, very nice. We slept there for two days. The rooms may not be the most modern rooms, but they are absolutely sufficient, very clean and the location is great. The breakfast is fantastic. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Very good food with large portions and at good prices too. We slept in the guest rooms there, which were simple but clean. Breakfast was included and was very plentiful and good. The service was excellent and you didn't just feel like a guest but almost like a member of the family. Gladly again at any time.

My husband and I were regular guests in the Donaulände for almost 5 years. There were months when we ate there on three Sundays. The service, the food and the prices were always great and justified. However, after Corona, the prices rose significantly, which was very understandable at the beginning and we were happy to pay it. But now the prices for what is on offer are beyond good and evil. One must not forget that it is a very simple village economy. The drinks glasses are matt and scratched. The cutlery is the simplest ever. Nothing has changed in terms of decoration or furnishings over the years. The cobwebs on the dirty windows and window sills have increased rather than decreased over the 5 years. But that was ok for us over the years and we looked past it because there was very good food and great service. However, the last few times there was a different waitress there. Almost no permanent staff left and only untrained ones, which was noticeable straight away. Today is the time for us to definitely stop eating there! My husband ordered a roast venison and I had pre-ordered a sauerbraten. When I ordered I said I didn't eat game and what did I get? A roast venison and I wasn't even told about it! With the first bite I noticed that the sauce tasted completely different than usual with sauerbraten and I told my husband this immediately. The flesh like a shoe sole and flaxy. We both cut out over half of the meat because we couldn't eat it. After a while the waitress came and said they had made a mistake and I had been given a roast venison. I told her beforehand that we were very disappointed with the food and then came the confession about the wrong food. For me it was then done and I couldn't eat any more. Another waitress then came and said she had done everything right - it was definitely a colleague and wanted to know who brought me the food. When I told her it was her, she said no, it was someone else. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all. Mistakes can happen to anyone, the question is how do I deal with them? As compensation, we were offered an espresso or a scoop of ice cream on the house and we had to pay for both meals in full. This is definitely the end of it for us. If you had taken a dish off the menu and apologized, we would have said ok, it can happen and we'll come back at some point, but that's just not possible. We also told the waitress straight away that we wouldn't be coming back. Also because of the price changes, we have been eating there less in the last few months. A sauerbraten from 9.80 to 17 euros and a duck breast from 11 euros to 19.90 in a village restaurant is simply completely excessive for us. In the women's toilet you had to dry your hands with toilet paper from the toilet because there was no paper and my husband said everything in the men's toilet was under water and hadn't been cleaned up. It's a shame, but at some point the traditional restaurants will die out.

A very cozy restaurant where you can get good food for reasonable money, nice, good service. But the best thing is the view of the Danube, I was at sunset and the atmosphere while eating was wonderful, I can warmly recommend it.

The food was good and you can have a nice view of the water from the terrace... Update: Ate here again today after 2 years. The food was top. I had cheese spaetzle, which isn't on the menu, but tasted very good. Our schnitzel eaters were also super happy and the children anyway... Service was also very friendly and accommodating. Magically located. Staff was very friendly and professional. We took a Zille/wooden boat from the monastery a little way downstream and back again in the late afternoon. Wonderful, quiet, close to nature and cheaper than the big ships.

There aren't many inns on the Danube where you can dock your boat, I wish there were more of them! Great food and ambience!
