Home-style cuisine, friendly staff and a large beer garden. The food is Thuringian in style and very tasty, portions are very good. Some parking spaces are available, otherwise parking is on the street. Dogs are welcome. Unfortunately not barrier-free as there are steps at the entrance.

We wanted to go out for something to eat on Sunday and found this restaurant online. We stopped there. Own space from the house. We were warmly welcomed. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, the service is very friendly and she also explained things to us when choosing the food because I didn't know. Drinks are very good and the beer is well tempered. The appetizer and the meal were simply perfect, a large portion to fill you up and lovingly prepared. The eye is there too. Very good and very tasty. Top and recommended to anyone who is nearby, even a detour to eat there is worth it. To the restaurant you are good. And good German cuisine. I was very surprised at the price, completely okay. In this day and age, inexpensive for what is on offer. 😁😇🤗👍👍👍👍

After a long drive from Konstanz and dropping off my wife’s mother we were starving. Managed to get a reservation quickly and we went to Gaststätte Dix. It is really a place for locals so I suspect they don’t get so many Canadians. The food we good, hit the spot for us all before we had to head home near Berlin. There used to be a Biergarten for warmer days. I have never been disappointed here.

Today we spontaneously went to the Dix restaurant for dinner. It was exactly what we were looking for: good home-style cuisine, pleasant and attentive service and a wonderfully authentic ambience. When we're in the area again, we know where we go to eat. Thanks!

A typical inn for Thuringia, as it is written in the book. Well attended, great atmosphere, warm, always smiling service and a very good selection of food. The menu is clearly arranged and the selection of dishes is regionally appropriate. The dishes are super tasty and the price-performance comparison is right. Thanks to the bus connection right in front of the restaurant, even guests without a car can stop by at any time. Due to the reasons mentioned above, advance booking for the main meals is urgently required.

Beautiful cozy restaurant. You immediately feel welcome and comfortable. Good Thuringian dishes are served. Everything fine.

Wenns mal wieder deutsch sein darf... Traditionell gutbürgerliche Küche, Zeit (2023) gemäßes gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Das Essen kam schnell war sehr lecker und die Gastwirte vermittelten das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Ganz klar eine Empfehlung. Biergarten mit der Möglichkeit im Freien zu speisen. Wir waren zum Kaffeetrinken und uns wurde bester Thüringer Kuchen serviert. Einen Kuchenteller mit 5 bzw. 6 kleinen selbstgebackenem Kuchenstückchen wie sich das in Thüringen zu Festtagen gehört. Wir saßen im kleinen Garten und wurden sehr nett bedient. Danke

Eine wirklich ausgezeichnete Gaststube mit deutscher Küche und jahrzehntelanger Geschichte. Auch der Biergarten im Sommer ist fantastisch bei einen kühlen Pils.
