The food is simply incredibly delicious. Really delicious home cooking, just like Grandma's used to taste. Freshly cooked by the chef himself. The boss serves the guests very friendly and the prices are very good. Cream puffs with cream and ice cream €3.50 The two of us paid just €30 for food and drinks. Parking spaces are available directly on site. A bit dark in the inn, but the sprightly couple have probably been running the place for around 40 years and even now in their 70s it's still so good and cheap, so I didn't expect hyper-modern furnishings.

Great restaurant, delicious food and very friendly service. We were here for the first time and it was great. We can highly recommend this restaurant and will come back again. Great value for money, ambience quaint and clean and dishes all great and normal.

Nice atmosphere and nice service

Located right on the street and therefore also discovered and there is an outside terrace. I had the farmer's breakfast for a really fair €3.60 and the taste was exactly what I wanted. The lady on staff is very quick and friendly. There's beer on tap and on Sunday evening a reservation might not be the worst idea. Can only be discovered from the outside by the red terrace umbrellas. The customer stopper for me was the farmer's breakfast for €3.60. Wasn't disappointed, so I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Today I had dinner there with my husband. Always wanted to try the farmer's breakfast. Because I haven't eaten it since I was a child. I have to say that it tasted very good. My husband ate liver which was also very good. We will definitely eat there again. The service was also very friendly. It was really worth going there. Thank you for the delicious food. Nice little restaurant with a lot of flair, friendly service and great food. The advertised farmer's breakfast is not only very inexpensive but also surprisingly good! The menu leaves little to be desired for fans of home-style and hearty cuisine. Here, the food is not culinary-driven, but rather really well-cooked - nutritious, tasty and wholesome! - as the saying goes. A nice soft ice cream in a GDR aluminum ice cream sundae rounded off our meal perfectly. Class! We came with our bikes and took a seat outside. When the weather is nice, you can sit close to the road and have a nice "look at the motorcycles". Actually an ideal biker stop, so close to the motorway. We'll be back!

Good, inexpensive home cooking since 1985. Everything prepared quickly and freshly. Friendly and quick service from the innkeepers. The kitchen can only be recommended in 2024. Moderate prices and a good selection. Located on the B 1, it's worth a STOP.

Hamburg schnitzel tastes good but is quite pale and has too much oil. The fried potatoes take some getting used to because of a spice I don't know.

This place is highly recommended. The lunch and the coffee (strong) taste very good and are “freshly” prepared in the kitchen. You have the choice, from solyanka to roast venison. You can get a farmer's breakfast for 3.60 euros. Currently there is homemade soft ice cream with strawberries 🍓. No ready meals or purchased food from the wholesale market are offered here. Restaurants in my hometown can use this as an example.

We've been happy to come back for years. Really delicious home cooking at very fair prices. The innkeeper is very nice, attentive and serves with joy. The chef is perfect at home cooking, you can tell his passion when cooking. And it is always freshly cooked. There are seasonal offers in addition to the menu. We'll be back.

Thanks to my grandma's recommendation, we spontaneously went to eat there. I can only recommend it. Price/performance is an absolute blast. If you like very, very good home cooking then you have to go there. We'd love to come back. Very best regards

It's a restaurant in my village and I always visit

Very good food at a very low price, service very quick and friendly despite the restaurant being full.

Extremely great atmosphere in the style of the 80s. It can work that way too. Affordable, delicious food is served quickly.

I know Thuringian Rostbrät'l and the chef here thought so too. Neck steak beautifully marinated with mustard and spices... steamed onions and hearty fried potatoes... that would be nice... There was...5mm pounded piece of chop (approx. 80g) unseasoned...plus half-cooked onions and the crowning glory was fried potatoes that had no seasoning, no onions and bacon and that weren't fried at all. Be careful... it's not authentic cuisine... that's probably why it's so empty in the evening.

German cuisine is super tasty and still as original as it was in Eastern times. Great selection and great prices. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by. There are plenty of parking spaces available. Great service and what more could you want.

Großartige Gaststätte. Ostalgie pur. Man muss das Ambiente mögen oder kennen, aber das hat eben seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Die Gerichte sind üppig, typisch ostdeutsche Gerichte und ausgesprochen lecker. Soljanka, Würzfleisch, Bauernfrühstück... Alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und flink.

Hier haben wir diese Woche zu fünft eine kleine Zeitreise mit Ostalgie-Charme erlebt. Wer das mag und erwartet, ist hier goldrichtig.

Wir haben es nach Jahren endlich geschafft, mal anzuhalten und sind immer noch begeistert. Das Essen schmeckt prima und man fühlt sich pudelwohl. Die Preise sind der Wahnsinn und unserer Meinung nach etwas zu niedrig für das, was man auf dem Teller hat. Futtern wie bei Muttern passt hier zu 100%. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder.

Preise vollkommen in Ordnung, essen kam schnell und sah gut angerichtet aus. Nur durch Zufall auf der Rücktour entdeckt.

Service und Essen sehr gut, Preise einfach Klasse

Wir waren auf Durchreise und wollten bevor es nach Hause geht nochmal schnell was essen. Die Dame sagte sofort es dauert wohl ne 3/4 Std., da die heute nur zu zweit sind. War aber kein Problem für uns also haben wir uns hingesetzt und Getränke bestellt. Das Essen kam trotzdem sehr zügig und es war auch wirklich sehr lecker. Allerdings fanden wir die Portionen etwas mickrig, dafür aber dann gerechtfertigte Preise. Die Bedienung (Chefin?) war leider nicht sehr freundlich, sie wirkte sehr gestresst & wir hatten das Gefühl zu „stören“ . Wir haben uns dementsprechend nicht sehr wohl dort gefühlt.

Sehr netter Service, sehr sauber, rustikale Einrichtung, hausgemachte Kost, sehr günstiger Preis (Gerichte und Getränke für zwei Personen für 25€). Da es sehr voll war, haben wir 45 Minuten gewartet, was voll in Ordnung war und uns auch gesagt wurde. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hin gehen.

Wie zu Ostzeiten, man hat sich sofort wieder in die Kindheit zurück versetzt. Der Duft soweit die Schwenktür aufgeht, das Holz der Tresen einfach Klasse.
