The food was delicious, the service a bit overwhelmed, and there was plenty of parking. However, it was very noisy; conversation at a comfortable volume was impossible. The dining room lacks sound-absorbing materials... perhaps that will be added in the future?

The food was very good and freshly prepared. Great atmosphere. Everything was perfect for a good meal in a very nice room.

You can eat whatever you want. Everything is fantastic! Very high-quality meat. The side dishes are also top-notch. Superbly seasoned. All special requests are accommodated. The hosts and waitstaff are very attentive and friendly. And last but not least: the chef is a real pro!

We went back to the castle with friends for the first time. The food and service were top-notch! Everything went perfectly! We wish the young team all the best. It's great to have such a good restaurant nearby again. We'll definitely be back!

We visited Speisewerk yesterday. I had the Cordon Bleu rolls, which are highly recommended thanks to their combination of mountain cheese and Black Forest ham. My family had the bacon-wrapped pork loin, a schnitzel with spaetzle, and a salad with black tiger prawns. They were also completely satisfied with their meal. Of course, fine dining comes at a price, but considering the quality and portion size, it's definitely worth it. You won't leave the restaurant hungry. Plus, you get a welcome greeting from the kitchen beforehand, which I found very charming. The only thing that's a bit disappointing is the acoustics in the restaurant. With several guests, it gets loud. Perhaps acoustic elements for the ceiling would be enough to alleviate the noise a bit. The service was extremely friendly and very professional. We recommend reserving a table in advance. We'll definitely be back!

A visit to the castle restaurant is a truly wonderful experience... A friendly welcome in a beautiful atmosphere... (Reservations are recommended!). A beautifully designed menu, with something for everyone. The service is attentive without being intrusive; despite a full restaurant, you are served quickly, and the food arrives table by table in a reasonable time. After a welcome from the kitchen, the ordered food arrives quickly, completely tailored to your wishes! Very tasty and the quantity is sufficient to satisfy everyone. Value for money: the menu is absolutely worth the price! The only (small) drawback: currently, only cash payments are accepted, but I expect that will change soon! We were there as a group and will definitely be back!

It was wonderful; the roast beef was top-notch, wonderfully tender; I haven't had anything of this quality and flavor in a long time. The other dishes were also excellent, freshly prepared, and very tasty. The prices are fair and reasonable in all areas, making them affordable. One thing that could be improved is that there are no tablecloths on the tables, and there are no sound-absorbing elements like curtains, which could have made the very high noise level (from conversations) more bearable. Overall, an extremely pleasant evening, with very good food and good, friendly, but not intrusive service. We will definitely return. A genuine and therefore highly recommended addition to the restaurant landscape in the Bottwartal region, very enjoyable.

Great, we had Swabian and Swiss sausage salad, and it was fantastic. A great portion, beautifully dressed, and beautifully served. We also had ox cheek salad—never had better (sorry, Mom). We'll be back 👏

We were there about four weeks after the opening and didn't notice any initial or start-up difficulties. Rather, everything ran smoothly in the almost fully occupied dining room; the service was friendly and professional, and there were no significant waits. Furthermore, the food was excellent, and the relatively modest pricing results in excellent value for money. However, two things could be considered for the future, although I would like these to be understood more as friendly suggestions from a guest perspective than as criticism: One could consider removing the door between the bar and the dining room, because as it currently stands, you might enter the restaurant at an inopportune moment and not see any service staff. Second, the dining room is rather noisy. This didn't bother us too much, but I can imagine other guests would have felt differently. If improvements could be made here, the overall very convincing impression would be even better. We wish the young, new team much success and hope that Speisewerk can establish itself; This would be a win-win for the entire region. It won't be our fault, because we'll definitely be back soon.

We wish the new tenants much success! The processes still need to be fine-tuned over time. The food is delicious and the service is very attentive, but the wait times aren't quite right yet. Regarding the atmosphere in the dining room, I would have liked more courage and a breath of fresh air to start with. I would also consider removing the door to the bar – it gives the impression that it's being used as a barrier to a "safe space" – direct customer contact and the corresponding response time should be a top priority. Dream ambience meets top cooking skills, super nice owner and fiancée, highly recommended

The Speisewerk, which only opened on Friday, is a hit. It's the perfect spot for hikers on a short trip to the vineyards. Just like the vineyards, the overall package of service, cuisine, and ambiance is excellent.

A very beautiful castle restaurant with excellent local cuisine. Perfect for groups looking to stop off after a hike or a stroll through the Beilstein vineyards. Highly recommended.

Great food, a shame this restaurant is closing

Very tasty food, friendly staff, unfortunately the current owner is retiring at the end of the year.

Amazing food, absolutely highly recommended. One was a three-course meal. The other was a starter of venison liver with bacon, carrots, and sauce, followed by venison leg with shaved spaetzle from the board, sauce, berries, and mushrooms. I've rarely had such a well-balanced meal. Dessert was a dream with four different dishes (from the menu). Unfortunately, the owner and chef is retiring, so I think it would be hard to find someone better. A chef who knows his craft. After that, a visit to the falconry, and a perfect day comes to a close.

I can recommend the restaurant. Friendly staff and good food. Was very satisfied. When I'm in the area again I'll come back to eat.

The price is not at the lower limit, so of course you expect a good meal and you won't be disappointed. The service is not over-the-top in keeping with the price, but rather in keeping with the ambience, friendly and "rustic", as you would actually expect on a Brugg. It would be nice if you could take your bike up with you.

Very mixed. We were here for the fish weeks. First time ever in the restaurant. My wife had a lobster/crab soup and a salm cordon bleu, a total of 45 euros. She was very happy with that. Except with the potato gratin with the fish. That was all, just no gratin (shouldn't that be gratinated?), especially since the potatoes didn't taste good either. As a mussel fan, I had the mussels as my main course for 23 euros. Actually reasonably priced. Only: Very small mussels (without the shell it wasn't even a handful) and strips of vegetables in a sauce. Plus not fresh baguette. It wasn't really worth the money and I don't like leaving the table hungry either. All in all, a rather expensive and not really satisfactory visit. But: Everyone gets their second chance, but definitely not to eat fish.

Wir waren gestern mit einer Gruppe von 12 Personen im Burgrestaurant Langhans zum Martins Gans Essen, einfach lecker 😋, können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren heute das 4-Gänge-Martini-Gans-Menü essen. Das Essen war phantastisch! Die Vorspeise Allerlei von der Gans hat mich umgehauen! So viele unterschiedliche Geschmackserlebnisse! Daran werde ich mich noch lange erinnern. Das Essen war jeden Cent wert. Die Bedienung war auch top! Hoffentlich gibt es dieses Menü nächstes Jahr auch wieder.

Nach dem Besuch der Burg kehrten wir noch in das Restaurant ein, um ein Stück Kuchen zu genießen. Leider war kein Kuchen mehr verfügbar - Sonntagnachmittag hätte ich mir mehr erhofft. Stattdessen bestellten wir Eis. Das gemischte Eis (Erdbeer, Vanille, Schokolade) schmeckte, war aber sehr einfach. Besser sah schon das Vanilleeis mit heißen Himbeeren aus, welches jedoch auch noch etwas teurer war. Überhaupt - die Preise. Es ist schon etwas teurer hier und das ziehe ich auch bei der Bewertung mit hinzu. Preis/Leistung passte hier nicht wirklich. Das warme Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen! Ambiente: Die Gaststube war überdekoriert mit Herbstdeko. Hier ist weniger manchmal mehr.

Alles super, wir waren bei dem Event kulinarische Weinprobe sehr zu empfehlen. Toller Wirt, super leckeres Essen.

Man sitzt sehr schön im Burghof unter großen Bäumen. Die Wirtin war sehr freundlich. Wir haben nur Kaffee getrunken, daher keine Ahnung, wie das Essen ist.

Sehr leckere Küche aber auch gehobene Preise. Keine Massenware, keine Ausflugsküche, sondern handgemachte Spätzle, Braten und gute Saucen. Der Service war freundlich und flink. Das könnte man verbessern: Es fehlt an vegetarischen Alternativen. Meine Nebensitzerin ist Vegetarierin und mag keinen Käse - da wäre nur der Salat geblieben. Stattdessen bestellte sie Spätzle mit Sauce und bekam - eine Kinderportion... Das muss doch nicht sein. Warum nicht eine große Portion Spätzle mit Sauce auf die Karte packen (oder auf das secret menu)?

Wir haben hier im Gewölbekeller am 8.9.23 unsere sehr schöne Mittelalter Hochzeit mit Kaffee & Kuchen, Vogel Show( Extra Buchung) & Rittermahl ( sehr leckeres , umfangreiches Essen das allen Gästen sehr gut geschmeckt hat + 4 Std. Mittelalterprogramm- extra Buchung) gefeiert. Es hat alles hervorragend geklappt. Vielen Dank.

So leckere Spätzle und Wildagout mit frisvhen Waldpizen habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Ehrliche und sehr gute Küche, super netter Service, wir kommen wieder

Das Restaurant ist fast wie ein Museum.

Wir waren jetzt schon oft auf der Burg essen und es ist einfach immer gut. Richtig gut. Die Spätzle werden von Hand geschabt (ja wirklich), die Maultaschen selbst gemacht und die Soßen ebenfalls angesetzt. Das schmeckt man. Es ist frisch lecker und immer wieder abwechslungsreich. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und selbst mein Sohn, der sich mehrmals umentschieden hatte, konnte sie nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Dazu eine Auswahl lokaler Weine aus Württemberg.

Schöne Schattenplätze unter dem Baum, direkt bei der Flugshow der Falknerei. Leider kostet ein Apfelschorle 0,5l ganze 5,00€. Scheint aber heutzutage nicht „zuviel“ zu sein, für derzeitige Verhältnisse und besonderer Location. Das muss wohl jeder selbst entscheiden, ob es einem Wert ist. Blöd nur dass die Preise niergends stehen, sodass die Überraschung dann groß ist ;-)

War leider sehr enttäuschend. Dachte geh am Muttertag mit den Eltern schick essen. Das war wenigstens vor vielen Jahren so. Essen war ganz okay,jedoch fast alles gleich kalt. Warme Teller hätten da schon geholfen. Beilagen wurden einem sehr lieblos und wahllos auf den Tisch geschoben. Das geht gar nicht. Unter Ambiente und den aufgerufenen Preisen, könnte man vielleicht auch schon eine Tischdecke erwarten. Es hängen Bilder an den Wänden die das ganze Ambiente von einer Burggaststätte kaputt machen. Und zum Schluss bekommt man die Rechnung in einer Kiste im Maritim Style mit billigen Bonbons als Einlage. Da gibt's nur eins. Gewollt und nicht gekonnt. Sehr schade.

Gehobene bürgerliche Küche in historischem Ambiente. Leider nicht barrierefrei, aber sonst absolut empfehlenswert.

Ungläubig überrascht vom Ambiente mit maritimer Deko, war ich doch sehr begeistert von der Speisekarte. Ein großes Lob und Dankeschön für das kulinarische Erlebnis.

Herrlich tolle mittelalterlich eingerichtete Gaststätte mit tollem Ausblick über Beilstein und Umgebung. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Und das Highlight ist das dort servierte Essen. Qualitativ top, Mengen mehr als ausreichend (Beilagennachschlag wird proaktiv erfragt) und auch für die Doggy-Bag wird auf Nachfrage noch etwas Beilage aufgefüllt. Echt top, was für den Preis geboten wird. Ich war jetzt schon mehrfach dort und werde auch noch öfter dort einkehren. Auch Hunde sind hier gern gesehen.
