Gaststätte Bruns in Erkelenz

Yesterday we visited Elsässer Erkelenz again. As always, the food was good and the service/owner was very friendly. A small, concise menu with delicious, sometimes unusual dishes. Everything was delicious. From the rabbit pâté appetizer to the main course salad with duck gizzards, to the evening meal warm chocolate cake with ice cream. The mussels were very tasty 😀 They also offered delicious fruit brandies to finish. The interior is beautifully and cozily decorated. Always worth a visit 👍🏻 We'll definitely be back; I've been there several times.

I've lived just a few doors down for almost six years, but I'd never been there. I went there recently with my best friend for her birthday dinner. What can I say... The food was really delicious, the portions were very reasonable for the price, the staff were attentive but not intrusive, and genuinely friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Four of us ate there. Of course, we had reserved a table. We received a warm and friendly welcome and felt at home from the very first second. The decor is modern. There's Wi-Fi, super-friendly staff, and incredibly delicious food. Thank you for your hospitality, your service, your food, and for being there. Best, Andreas Rausch
