Kind service, what we ate was very delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant, quiet, comfortable, radiating warmth, in one word, romantic would probably be the best description. The furnishings are not modern, but more traditional, which others may think is old-fashioned, but in any case, it has a homely, intimate atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone.

We were a group of nine at the Brau-Stübl. We stumbled upon it by chance, just passing through. But we'll definitely be stopping here in the future. They have great beer, delicious food, and service staff who actually enjoy their work. So, 5 stars from us! Thank you!

After all, there's no real "cooking" going on in the kitchen. Everything served is ready-made or prepared. Even a newcomer to the kitchen can prepare it. Renovation is urgently needed.

Just tried it, service and food were very good.

We tried to make a reservation for the 8th time today, this time to celebrate a birthday, and were turned down again. The restaurant is probably fully booked. However, recent reviews have been increasingly critical of the food and so on. Apparently, they no longer need it because there are enough customers. I work in retail myself and know how difficult it is to retain and retain good staff, but when things never work out, I feel bad. For us, though, that's the end of it forever. We won't be coming here anymore. There are other good restaurants that may be a bit far away, but they do make things possible. What a shame!

Very tasty food and very friendly staff

We were at the restaurant for lunch on December 26th, meaning it was fully booked. But the service and quality were just as good as any other day. Super friendly service, drinks, appetizers, and main courses were fresh and served quickly. We all enjoyed everything, whether it was trout, goose leg with red cabbage, or steak au four with peas and fries. We'll definitely be back 🤩 Big praise for the excellent conditions at the restaurant.

The food was also delicious; I would have loved to bring the chef with me! The value for money is just as good, considering the portions, they could charge €2 more! Simply HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A note to the chef! All in all, a good restaurant. But why is the steak seasoned meat baked without cheese? Instead, it's topped with hollandaise. You're looking forward to crispy cheese and croquettes, and then... soggy croquettes and no cheese? Hollandaise should be served over the peas... Haven't had this dish without cheese anywhere else?! Prices are okay, we just had to wait a long time for drinks and orders...

We've been eating here for many years, but we're increasingly disappointed each time! Parking is scarce, and without a reservation, it's almost impossible to get a table... but this time, at least they offered us a seat on the terrace. Well, it was a challenge in 18 degrees Celsius, but we said yes! We waited an hour for our food, and then, unfortunately, my farmer's breakfast wasn't cooked all the way through. We'll be looking for another restaurant in the future...

A lovely, rustic brewery inn. Delicious food, good service, and a cozy atmosphere. One minor criticism: my potatoes were peeled from a wholesale store, which you can tell by the firm outer skin. Otherwise, the rest was really good. And of course, the star of the whole experience: the fantastic home-brewed beer. There's really nothing more to say. We'd be happy to come back.

Good home-cooked food, seasonal dishes, and delicious Reichenbrand beer straight from the brewery. I love coming here. The beer garden/courtyard is currently being renovated, and after that, you'll be able to sit outside again in the summer.

Great home-style food, full plates, men will definitely get their fill here. Pleasant, attentive service.

If you like it rustic and hearty and maybe also love beer, this is the right place for you! A lot has changed in the last 20 years, but the cellar beer is still the first thing I take out of the clay mug... The cuisine is down-to-earth, hearty. The service is usually great, but always friendly and nice. The beer selection has expanded over the years, but the classics Keller and Pils are as good as ever. Thanks to the Bertgts, the Stübels team and the brewery.

Came without a reservation and received a really nice welcome. The meal once with trout and once with tagliatelle with green asparagus and strips of beef was delicious. We came across this private brewery through the pleasure guide on our motorcycle tour and would visit it again at any time. Thank you for your friendly and warm hospitality. We were there as part of a group, so we can't say much about the prices because we didn't see them. I rarely write anything. But the facility managed to get to me again. The choice of food is large and there is something for everyone. The portions are equally large. However, the quality leaves a lot to be desired - a lot of ready-made food is used and the side dishes are of variable quality. The fries were too well done and the potatoes were pre-cooked from the wholesaler. I would have expected something better. My “Braumeisterschnitzel” also had a touch of the trout that went out beforehand. The vegetables also looked too good to be fresh. That was definitely frozen goods too. Overall it's not that great. If I had had to pay for it myself I would have been more upset. The staff is mostly friendly. However, the male colleague there displayed a manner of expression and behavior that would actually be intolerable. I also know from him that the boss "isn't there anyway" and that I would have to wait. Well there. Likewise, some fellow celebrants were told in a relatively unfriendly manner that they only needed one main course and no more salad because they “couldn’t manage it anyway”. The order was received very reluctantly. Here too: If I had been the paying guest myself, I would have reacted differently. The ambience is beautifully thought out and partly also done. However, the age is noticeable in many places. Some chairs were stained, the veneer on the tables was starting to come loose and a feather duster wouldn't have done any harm in some places. Last but not least, as I was leaving, I noticed how the group of regulars at the bar were loudly upset with our host because, in the opinion of the staff and the regulars, he didn't give enough tips. Unfortunately, they noticed too late that someone from this company was probably standing there. At that moment it was clear to me: You definitely won't come back here. The overall experience was just too bad and with such rude staff even the best food is of no use.

We spontaneously got a table for ourselves and our child. We were warmly welcomed and served. They were all very family friendly. The food was very tasty and we can recommend you wholeheartedly. All in all, full marks. Thank you for the delicious lunch with you on a Sunday.

Very nice restaurant on the outskirts of Chemnitz. Nice staff and the food is great, they also offer senior portions which is really good. The food is plentiful and if you can't make it, you are welcome to take your food with you.

The food was really tasty. It's been a long time since I've eaten such good "home cooking" and for a reasonable price. Melissa, our condition, did her job with passion. She was warm and friendly and made the visit even more enjoyable.

Despite previously attempting to reserve a table online, which was rejected, we managed to get a seat on site a little earlier than the original reservation time. I thought it was nice of the staff that it was still possible. Food very good, hearty and plentiful. Price performance 👍

We went here for dinner with friends on Saturday evening. Everyone enjoyed the food. One of the last restaurants in Chemnitz where the value for money is still good. Large portions at reasonable prices, and delicious too! The large pilsner for €3.90—I think you'd have to look long and hard to find that anywhere else! Keep up the good work!! Thanks!

Yes I can. Food is good, service is relatively quick and we were there on the first great weekend of sunshine and were seated at around 2 p.m. on Sunday without booking in advance. This is rare and great service. Parking is difficult, little space is provided.

It's always nice to stop by the Bräustübel. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and cater to every need. Because the Bräustübel is so popular, you should always make a reservation. A highlight in the summer is the beer garden. Keep up the good work.

Absolute fraud on the guest what is being done here. You order a Radler 0.5 and have a bottle of beer 0.5 and a lemonade 0.3 on the bill....drink 0.5 and pay 0.8, something like fraud...when asked, they said "We know that you didn't drink that, but from the management floor we should calculate it". I don't recommend this rip off...

We were invited for a birthday. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We had two dogs with us, a drinking bowl was immediately provided and there was also some petting. The portions were very generous, but we have eaten better there. The beer soup was totally over salted and the fries were almost impossible to eat. Unfortunately, the schnitzel with potatoes was missing the sauce and so it was far too dry. The rump steak on the bridal plate also looked more like an old shoe sole. Perhaps. The chef also had a very bad day.

You get quite large portions for a very good and fair price! Not to forget the attentive and nice waiter! We would love to come back, it was a nice stay and the pub can only be recommended!🍴 Update: Still a great pub that's worth visiting! The other young waiter is also in a very good mood, which makes staying even more fun! The food is still very tasty and the portions are plentiful! The beer tastes good and the beer soup is recommended! The store is always full, so you should definitely make a reservation in advance!

A very nice, classic German restaurant with excellent cuisine. Plus an ambitious and happy team. A recommendation for everyone who wants to eat well and appreciates regional beers. The price-performance ratio is excellent.

Every meal was delicious, served quickly and attentively. It's very busy and requires reservations, but no reason not to go. Edit Feb 2025: The last time we were at the Bräu-Stübl was about a year ago with a larger group. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste nearly as good as I was used to. Several people gave feedback. That's why my rating has worsened and we won't be coming back any time soon.

Cozy restaurant with delicious beer from the in-house brewery. The service was very friendly and attentive. At first I was a little surprised when I was served my pork steak with seasoned meat covered in plenty of hollandaise sauce. The taste was good, but it was very hearty. This is definitely not for everyone. Perhaps the classic version with gratinated cheese would appeal to a wider range of guests.

We went to the “Brau-Stübl” a little later today for lunch. A big rush was probably just over. But some tables were still full and at least one large party was demanding staff. The food was good, the prices were moderate, the waiting time - despite the larger company in the room - was reasonable and the service - for a Sunday - was very good. I would say that professional work and good processing ensure quality and satisfaction here. I can really recommend the “Brau-Stübl” without any reservations, even if the atmosphere does seem a little outdated here and there. But we liked it :-)

Unfortunately the food was only lukewarm. The dishes sat on the table forever. Long story short, the waiter didn't really care about us.

Celebrated grandma's birthday here today. We are very satisfied customers of the brewery and just as happy to be guests at the Bräustübl. We had to eat the huge portions, but it was very tasty. And our waiter was very personable. Small note: rump steak was no longer medium rare, but still very tasty ;)

Here you get ripped off several times. A small beer becomes a large beer. Since you can order what is on the menu (!), one spiced meat suddenly becomes a double (which is not on the menu), but that doesn't matter because it was made a little smaller anyway (words from the waitress). But you can pay double in full. Absolutely incredible. In this case, I almost unfortunately have to say that the food tastes really good

Always worth a visit... Beer tastes good and food is delicious

Reserved a day in advance and got a table. Despite the large crowds and full house, the staff are quick but always friendly and even make jokes. Food comes quickly and is delicious. Always happy, highly recommended! Even today, Saturday evening, the beer garden was packed and the service was always smiling in a friendly manner and keeping an overview. But without a reservation there would not have been a free table. Food delicious as always. Still a top address. !!

It was very busy, so it probably took a while until we got the food 🍴, but there were 14 of us. The food 🍴 was very plentiful and tasted very tasty.

The wait for the "placement" was worth it: a good meal in the beer garden, ground beef steak, bacon beans, salad, our own beer and homemade lemonade. Huge portions that I couldn't finish despite being extremely hungry... a bit of a shame about the good things... elsewhere it's often the other way around.

We were invited to dinner for the second time. The selection is kept quite small. Braumeisterschnitzel selected. Meat is good, 5 croquettes are very few, the salad is just a sample and the whole plate is covered in peas. A very strange distribution of shares in the court. The lighting in the room is probably more of an orientation light. Toilets are clean, staff was very patient and friendly. But we would rather turn down another invitation to dinner.

Absolutely bad experience and therefore not recommended. 1. For a large birthday party of 15 people, why do you set the tables in an L shape so that you sit back to back on the inside and cannot engage in conversation? Even with a little thought, one would have come to the conclusion that this arrangement is unfavorable. 2. The mushroom pasta I ordered tasted bitter and caused stomach cramps for hours afterwards. We don't know if it was the mushrooms or the sauce, but it definitely made the food inedible. The spoiled raspberries in the Lillét were also unpleasant. Service was OK, but this restaurant won't see us again.

Original location in Reichenbrand with an attached brewery. Table reservation recommended. Friendly and fast service. Portions for large appetites. The prices are appropriate for the portions. We will be back.

The Bräu Stübl in Rabenstein is a restaurant with attached beer sales. The food itself is excellent. The portions are nothing to sneeze at and the prices are very reasonable. However, it is advisable to make a reservation, especially on weekends, as it usually gets full. You can sit outside or inside.

The Bräu-Stübl is one of my favorite restaurants. I always feel very comfortable here. Friendly and courteous service. The food is to die for! I think I can assess this very well because I travel around the world a lot. Unfortunately, the catering industry has been hit again. Here you can get food to go! I would like to inform you that Reichenbrander Bräu-Stübl is open again from today. According to my information, it is always open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Do I have to pre-order? You can do it but you can also order on site. I think it's very important to support local businesses right now. That's why 5 stars for not letting it get you down and I hope that we'll be able to stay as guests at one of your tables again soon.

Wenn ich auf dem Weg zum Tisch eine Karte eigenhändig mitnehme und ich dafür gerügt werde: "Das ist unhöflich. Das ist so, als ob ich bei einem Fremden an den Kühlschrank gehe", dann bin ich wirklich verblüfft. Heute, 12.06. ist genau das passiert. Dabei hatte ich mich so auf ein tolles Essen gefreut. Aber so etwas ist beleidigend und anpampen lasse ich mich wirklich nicht. Ich habe dem Kellner die Karte in die Hand gedrückt und bin zu einem anderen Restaurant ausgewichen.
