Excellent food, great beer and drinks, fantastic hospitality! A little hidden secret in a Berlin garden Kolonie pub! Can't wait to return - best Konigsberger Klopse ever!!!

The host is a great guy, if you can stand his sense of humor. The food (liver) was very good and truly plentiful. There are often events, which we'll check out soon.

For us, it's our second living room.

It was our first time here and we'll definitely be back. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, and excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices.

Small but authentic and cozy, were here for the first time, due to the size sometimes a bit loud, food menu not too big, but everything delicious 🤤 whoever can stand a casual joke from the boss is in the right place here and will gladly come back

We went there for the first time today, even though we live practically around the corner. The menu offers a great selection of German cuisine: meatloaf, schnitzel, smoked salmon roast, currywurst, and more. Everything is served with high quality and generous portion sizes. The value for money is also impressive. Plus, the chef, a true Berliner, manages the place with great friendliness. We'll be back and recommend it to others. The menu has to be worked through completely. 😎

I remember the Bolivar restaurant from my time as a "little boy" in a gardener's garden. That's been over 60 years now. Back then, as now, people enjoyed a draft beer—for the kids—and a beer here. Later, it was a white beer with a shot on warm summer days in the inn garden. Back then, as now, people often ate here. Hearty, home-cooked meals are deliciously prepared in our own kitchen and always fresh. That hasn't changed to this day. The ambiance is extremely cozy and very appealing. The service is also attentive to the guests. The prices are always very moderate and affordable, which is especially pleasant in these times. Now (2022), during Advent, with mulled wine and delicious grilled sausages, we warmed ourselves by the large fire bowl and thoroughly enjoyed the pot of mulled wine. For this, I sincerely thank the friendly staff. I can only highly recommend this "garden restaurant" for many years to come. Even in winter, after a stroll through the colony, with its beautifully illuminated gardens, it's a great place to warm up and recharge with a glass of mulled wine. A huge thank you to the host and staff of the Bolivar restaurant.

From hearty, freshly prepared home-style cooking to a wide selection for those with a sweet tooth, everyone will find something on the menu of this unique restaurant, which boasts a 140-year history. Fancy a quick beer? But which kind would you prefer? Or would you prefer traditional Berlin soft drinks or a good coffee? These, too, are served with heart and charm. I was immediately captivated by this gem. I'm going home for tonight in a good mood and feeling full, but I'll be back. There are still many things on the menu that I'd love to try.

This restaurant is something truly special. Home-style cooking at fair prices in a unique location among allotments. The owner is simply the best. But he can only be that way because his wife and waitress "stand behind him." In short: This team is simply amazing!

This gem is nestled in an allotment garden. I wasn't expecting such good food and such a great setting the first time I visited. The owner is super friendly, and the food is down-to-earth but simply delicious. It's now the regular haunt of the Berlin/Brandenburg Geocaching Club, which is yet another reason to stop by regularly. Highly recommended!

At the geocache pub, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food (homemade Königsberger Klopse just like mom's), a friendly host, and a huge selection of playable labs. The visit was definitely worth it. We'd love to come back :)🐸

We made a quick detour on the way to our granddaughter's birthday party. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We immediately felt at home. The food was delicious, and the owner was super nice. Since we're geocachers, we were happy to find ourselves stranded in Berlin's first geocacher restaurant. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

I was there to eat a burger, 🦦***MEGA DELICIOUS***, since we were there for a few hours there was even a second round of burgers 😃😃😃. The waitress patiently fulfilled all special requests, shared burgers..., thank you. To put it in Berlin terms: “We’re on the hook now!” 🙃

We went there twice during our vacation because we felt really comfortable there. Very, very nice boss, you immediately feel really welcome and everything just fits. We spontaneously went to Bolivar on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Nice little beer garden outside, super nice service (cool boss with a Berlin snout) and delicious food. We liked it so much that we made a reservation for the next evening. Many greetings from the family from Oldenburg! :)

I would travel to Berlin again just for the spicy Currywurst

The four of us from Halle spontaneously popped in and were warmly welcomed! Food really well prepared, authentic Berlin cuisine (but with vegan alternatives!) with correspondingly friendly service. Drinks menu surprisingly good too! The innkeeper is a real host, that's how fun it is! Accidental discovery, we will definitely be back!

We celebrated our wedding in Bolivar. What can I say... simply outstanding from start to finish. We received very good advice in our preliminary discussions. Almost anything is possible. There are no hidden costs. No extra hall rental or anything similar. You could always get in touch with questions and get a nice answer quickly. Everything was agreed upon beforehand. At the end we discussed everything again in detail so that nothing could go wrong. The food was absolutely excellent. Everything from regional origin, super tasty and even the smallest wishes were implemented. The hospitality was courteous and super nice. We felt totally at home and always enjoy coming here. All guests were completely satisfied and discovered a new location for themselves. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your care and support on this great day. Despite the bad weather, you gave everything to make sure we had a nice time.

Super nice and cool atmosphere, the boss is always in a good mood and does almost everything for his guests to make sure they have a good time. Very tasty food!!! I can recommend the schnitzel with cornflake breading!!!

Small, cozy and familiar. On warm days you can sit outside. The food is highly recommended. Parking nearby can be difficult.

It's a dream in the summer when you sit in the beer garden, even though it's close to the main street, you don't hear anything! A nice place to chill.

A very good team looks after the guests here, we feel comfortable, the innkeeper is like you would expect an innkeeper on an excursion or... Garden restaurant wishes. The food has always tasted very good, so we have been coming back at irregular intervals for several years, even if we don't live around the corner. The down-to-earth cuisine is enriched by international dishes on the weekends and upon order. Excellent!

Heute das Bolivar entdeckt - so stelle ich mir eine Gaststätte vor: Leckeres, frisch zubereitetes Essen, gute Qualität - und das zu angemessenen Preisen. Netter, kommunikativer Wirt, schlichtes, gemütliches Ambiente - ich mag's. Ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen und Verweilen. On top gibt's 4 (!) Biersorten vom Hahn! Spannende Sonderaktionen machen neugierig und Lust auf den nächsten Besuch.... Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind schauen wir sehr gerne vorbei 👍😀

Coole u lockere Atmosphäre, den leckersten Burger gegessen

Wir Mädels aus Köln haben einen gemütlichen Biergarten gefunden, lecker gegessen und hatten eine wirklich nette Unterhaltung mit den Wirtsleuten. Der Wirt gab uns ausserdem noch gute Tipps für Unternehmungen abseits des normalem Tourismus. Danke für den schönen Abend. Beim nächsten Berlinbesuch kommen wir gerne wieder bei euch vorbei.

Es war wie immer ein toller Nachmittag/ Abend. Die Stimmung war klasse, richtig gute Musik 🎶, Essen lecker und der Service sehr schnell und kompetent, super lecker die Cocktails. Also , an Alle vielen Dank für die schönen Stunden 🤗❣️❣️

War gerade Kirschallee angekommen, da ich auf dem Weg war, ehrenamtlich beim Sommerfest in der Kleingarten Kolonie Golfplatz Burger zu verteilen, dann hat es hat wie aus Eimern angefangen zu regnen, dann dachte ich mir, ich stell mich in der Kneipe unter, doch nach wenigen Minuten kam die Besitzerin und meinte das wenn ich nix verzehren würde, das ich wieder gehen soll. Nun klitschnass am Sommerfest angekommen, Vielen Dank dafür, kein Wunder das die Gaststätte leer ist. Es wäre kein Problem mich 10 Minuten länger draussen unterm Pavillon stehen lassen zu können bis der Regen aufhört. 0 Sterne für die Gastfreundlichkeit

Ursprünglich, urgemütlich und stets freundlicher Betrieb.

Am Vatertag hat mich mein Sohn zu dieser Location gelenkt. Gemütlich, urig, herzlich. Ein cooler, bodenständiger Wirt mit einer einnehmenden, offenen, Art. Lecker Bier und noch leckeres Essen. War zwar das erste Mal aber ich werde sicher gerne Wiederholungstäter. Macht weiter so. Sowas gibt es leider nicht mehr oft.

Super netter Wirt, top Personal, gute Pommes und man kann mit Karte zahlen. Perfekt 🤩

So ein Großmaul der Gastwirt, wenn er was kann ist es Quatschen das war es aber auch….. Essen war ok Wenn man sich die Kneipe ringsum anschaut könnte man denken man ist auf einer Müllkippe. Schade eigentlich. Ich kenne die Vorgängerin noch sehr gut da war noch alles Tip Top. Gott hab Sie selig wenn sie das sehen würde, würde sie sich im Grabe umdrehen.

Essen und Getränke sind absolut ausreichend und lecker. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ambiente. 👍👍👍

Also wir waren zum erstmal da und mussten gleich feststellen das es eine Super gemütliche kleine Kneipe ist wo man sich von Anfang an wohlfühlt essen war super lecker der Kaffee eins A also wir kommen definitiv wieder macht weiter so

Cooler Laden. Der Wirt ist wirklich klasse. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Besonders im Sommer ein sehr schöner Biergarten. Jederzeit wieder

Weihnachtsgrillen. Wir hatten super leckere Rostbratwürste. Und auch der Glühwein war sehr lecker. Schöne Feuerschale. Gemütlich und warm. Besonders gefällt mir, dass alles regional gekocht wird.

"na denn kommt mal rein" ... und man taucht ein in's urige Ambiente! Liebevoll geführter Familienbetrieb mit aufmerksamem Service, leckerer und selbstgekochter Hausmannskost aus frischen, guten Produkten - es hat herrlich geschmeckt. Wir haben einen schönen Abend in netter Gesellschaft genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Super gemütlicher Gaststätte.Habe mich nach Jahren ,nach dem Tanzunterricht ,dort hin verlaufen.Inzwischen hat der Besitzer gewechselt,aber alles nach wie vor in Familienhand , super nette Leute.Schönes Ambiente,ein wenig wie in Italien oder so.Das Bier ist lecker und das Essen auch.Ab und an finden Motopartys statt.Freue mich schon auf die Schlagerparty demnächst.👍👍👍👍🐘🐘🐘😀

Es ist sehr sauber im ganzen Haus und auf den WCs Der DJ hat jeden Musikwunsch erfüllt Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist das Team und euer Goldstück Carola, sie war 12 h lang ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Und wir sind fest der Meinung dass sie den richtigen Beruf ausübt, denn man merkt ihr an dass sie das aus Überzeugung macht und Freude bei der Arbeit hat Für Feiern ist das Bolivar sehr zu empfehlen!!! Geht am 25.09.21 zum Oktoberfest und macht euch euer eignes Bild😉 Viele Grüße

Berliner Original!! Super Bewirtung von einem echten Berliner...inklusive der Berliner Schnauze. Essen sehr sehr lecker, reichliche Portionen, frisch zubereitet und das für wenig Geld ;) Absolut Empfehlenswert!

Macht weiter so. 👍

Ich habe es mir immer sagen lassen es soll in der Gaststätte am gemütlichsten sein und so war es auch. Nach meinem Feierabend habe ich mir ein Bier gegönnt und ich komme gerne wieder. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Chef Sympathisch. mfg vom Steubenplatz

Ich bin mit meiner Familie bei einem Spaziergang zufällig vorbeigekommen und wir fühlten uns gleich wohl. Gemütliche tolle Plätze im Freien, leckeres Engelhardt, fantastisches Bauernfrühstück und hausgemachter Kartoffelsalat und zuletzt eine sehr nette Bedienung mit Berliner Schnauze. Weiterhin ist das Bolivar dank Corona frisch modernisiert. Uns werdet ihr so schnell nicht mehr los. 👍

Ausgezeichnete vielseitige Karte, schon beim Lesen bekommt man Appetit. Der hausgemachte Kartoffelsalat ist ein Gedicht. Unbedingt mal besuchen!!!
