The food was a disaster: raw minced steak, cold rice, etc. We waited almost an hour for the food, even though nothing was happening. When I asked if I really wanted to pay the full price, I just got a shrug. The best part was, they said, "Next time will definitely be better." 🤣...

Seven of us were on a hiking trip on Saturday and wanted to have lunch here. We made a special detour for this. Since we still had a long hike ahead of us, I had arranged by phone a week in advance that we could be there at 11:30 a.m. instead of the normal opening time of 12 p.m. When we arrived at 11:30 a.m., hungry and thirsty, the restaurant was closed. After five minutes, a young lady came out and explained to us in somewhat incomprehensible German that the manager was out and no one else was. We were welcome to wait outside for an hour. That wasn't an option for us, of course, so we carried on walking, hungry, thirsty, and above all very annoyed. Luckily, there's an excellent butcher and a pub in the village that provided us with supplies. Next time we'll stop there rather than make a detour for nothing!

What a pleasant surprise. We were hungry after a hike in the middle of nowhere. We had a great lunch,great fresh food, prompt friendly service. We will be back

Once again, we visited the lovely restaurant at the Felsenmeer (Rock Sea). It's now a must on every visit to Schönberg with (great) grandma and (great) grandpa! We come from Bremen, and when we visit our loved ones here, our children (8 and 4) are already asking when we're finally going to eat at the Felsenmeer. This time, the waiter recognized us immediately and asked if we were the family from Bremen visiting grandma and grandpa. We were very happy about that. A clear recommendation regarding the staff: Friendly, attentive, they always find a solution if something needs to be changed in the menu or if you have any special requests. They make everything possible. The food is very tasty and the portions are large. The feta boat is a must-order! Super tasty fried potatoes, crispy fries, and the grilled vegetables are also impressive. The cevapcici were very good, and the feta-stuffed minced steak was also great. We've also had salads and pasta dishes here. There are various children's dishes, so there's something delicious for everyone. We were always full and very satisfied. Our 8-year-old daughter asked me how many stars we could give for our review here. I would give it 20 stars ⭐️, she said, and was very disappointed that the best review "only" had 5 stars. There's still a lot of room for improvement in the quality of the food: the sausage salad was heavily overseasoned, the so-called fried potatoes were barely fried but instead swimming in oil.

Unfortunately, very disappointing – not recommended We paid around 120 euros for our visit to this restaurant – and ended up going home hungry and with a stomach ache. The food was a total disgrace. There were hairs in the salad and even in the main course, which is absolutely unacceptable. The "chef's salad" consisted mostly of about a kilo of old, limp iceberg lettuce with brown spots and just five turkey strips. The dish was simply subpar in both taste and appearance. The kids' meals were also disappointing: While the fries were okay, the schnitzel was really bad – obviously not freshly prepared and dripping with old frying oil. The only bright spot: The drinks were okay. There was beer, wine spritzer, and Sprite for the kids. Overall, a disappointing experience that we won't soon forget – unfortunately, for the wrong reasons. We can't recommend this restaurant at all.

We were at the Felsenmeer with the family over the weekend and visited the nearby restaurant. Found a hair in the salad, which I immediately returned. There were two more in another salad, which is unacceptable. Ordered a Williams, which did have a clear taste, but definitely not a Williams, more like less than 20%. My wife ordered a chef's salad, which felt like a finely chopped iceberg lettuce with sliced ​​cucumber, sliced ​​tomato, and 5-6 strips of turkey on top. The portion was much too large and simply looked awful. Certainly, no one had put any effort into it, and none of the salads they brought were fresh; several pieces had brown spots. The schnitzels neither looked good nor tasted good; the kids had stomach aches afterward. Absolutely not recommended.

Well, where do I begin? We ordered a beer and a homemade lemonade, which, according to the menu, was homemade and squeezed by hand. What arrived was a beer without a crown and a bottle of organic lemonade, which wasn't homemade as advertised. We ordered two appetizers: Grilled feta cheese with onions, garlic, bread, and salad. Grilled pepperoni with salad and bread. When both dishes arrived, the bread was missing. After we asked, they brought half a loaf of old, dry, and rock-hard bread. We immediately sent it back. After that, only half a loaf per person arrived, but also old and dry. The salad was unfortunately not fresh and brown in some places. The grilled feta cheese was swimming in oil and had neither onions nor garlic, and it wasn't really grilled either. The feta cheese was lukewarm, and it seemed to have only seen a grill from a distance. Unfortunately, the pepperoni wasn't grilled and was lukewarm. All in all, it was terrible. There wasn't even a question about whether it tasted good or anything like that, so there was no feedback on site. It's a real shame. I expected much more from a Croatian-German restaurant. Especially when you look at the pictures from a year or two ago...

We were there on May 1st, it wasn't overly crowded. You couldn't order food directly with the drinks. Only after the drinks were brought, which took some time. Afterwards we waited about an hour for our food. Meanwhile, some guests got up and left because it was taking too long for them.

The food and service can still be improved. But everything is okay so far.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! We wanted to stop here after our trip and eat schnitzel for the four of us. After we ordered we received our starter salad, which partly consisted of brown leaves. Each of us had a different bowl, one had huge pieces of onions in it and the other had none at all. The yogurt dressing was OK. After we had eaten the salad, for which we waited 15 minutes, the cellar came to our table and told us that there were no more schnitzels. We then all ordered a rump steak with fries. We then waited 40 minutes for it. Then the steak finally arrived. A super small rump steak with super limp fries. We will never come here again and cannot recommend it to anyone. It was an absolute failure that we have to learn from. Horror experience!!!

This Saturday we had dinner here around lunchtime/early afternoon. It took almost 60 minutes from the first contact with the waiter to the meal, and we only ordered 2 spaetzle, spinach dumplings and a schnitzel with fries. The question as to whether I could get a schnitzel with pepper cream sauce, the combination of which is not on the menu but the sauce is included in other dishes, was too complicated for the waiter, which is why I ordered a Jägerschnitzel. The waiter never came to ask if we wanted anything else. We sat for a long time with empty glasses. The salad bar that you can serve yourself is a nice idea, but there was only cucumber in huge slices, tomatoes, coleslaw and iceberg lettuce, and only a dressing. I'd rather have a mixed salad, which comes "out of the bucket" at most restaurants in this price range. The food was great, although I would have liked to have had the sauce separately for my schnitzel because then the crunch remained and the mouthfeel was generally better. The portions were very generous, only my schnitzel was eaten thanks to the help of my friend. Oh well, we were there in the early afternoon and when we arrived there were only 4 tables occupied, half of which had already had their food. Customers who came after us had their food earlier than us.

Very run down looking establishment. Dirty, broken and overly used exterior. Doesn’t appear attractive, clean, stylish or modern. First impression at the customer parking lot was a ripped, stained, mouldy window which was really quite shocking from a customer perspective. Good location at the felsenmeer.

I ordered the Chef's Salad with meat, the first moment it looks ok, but unfortunately it was terrible, only the meat was okay, under the lettuce at the bottom there were, by a strange coincidence, 3 pieces of pasta 🤨 Theoretically, it is the same salad (plus cucumber and tomato) that they serve as a starter for the main course also with pasta (3 pcs) So I suspect I got leftovers from another plate. It was delicious a few months ago, now I don't recommend it!!!

Ich liebe die vegetarische Grillplatte, als Vorspeise noch gegrillte Peperoni mit geraspelten Schafskäse, sehr lecker 😋. Es ist ein Vereinsheim mit Kegelbahnen, viel Holz, offenes Raumkonzept , hell und freundlich gestaltet, schöne Fotografien an der Wand, der Biergarten ist mit Blick auf den Fußballplatz und das Felsenmeer. Wie es sich für ein Vereinsheim gehört sind die Portionen groß , der Service aufmerksam und sehr freundlich!

Eine sehr schöne Gaststätte mit tollen Gerichten und einer familiären Atmosphäre, die ich in der Form lange nicht gesehen habe. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und hatten einen tollen Tag am Felsenmeer. Komme definitiv wieder.

Scheinbar haben wir heute einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Wir sind eigentlich wegen der guten Rezensionen dort eingekehrt, jedoch können wir den Eindruck der Vorredner nicht teilen. Unsere Vorspeise wurde vergessen, die Salate zu den Hauptspeisen ebenfalls. Die Bedienungen waren generell etwas verwirrt, da Essen von Gästen verwechselt oder an falsche Tische gebracht wurden. Geschmacklich war es ok, aber nichts besonderes. Also zumindest keine 4-5 Sterne. Gutes Mittelfeld. Wir hatten Schnitzel (sehr trocken), Züricher Pfanne (etwas zu salzig), Spätzle (die waren gut) und Krüstchen (Schnitzel mit Käse, Pilzen, Soße Bernaise, das war auch ok). Die Besienung kam leider nicht um zu fragen ob alles ok ist. Somit konnten wir auch keine Getränke nachbestellen, zumindest nicht ohne unser zutun. Hier wäre etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit ein Besserungsvorschlag. Alles in allem hatten wir anscheinend ziemlich Pech. So versichert es zumindest der Kellner beim Bezahlen. Ich wünschen allen anderen Gästen die hier Einkehren mehr Glück. Ah, keine Kinderkarte. Fand ich nicht gut. Kinderfreundlichkeit ist ja eh nicht die Stärke der Deutschen.

Fleisch nicht durch, Service schlecht

Wir sind kurzentschlossen spontan hier eingekehrt nach einem Besuch im Felsenmeer. Das Essen war top, v.a. der vegetarische Grillteller war unglaublich lecker (selbst für einen Nicht-Veggie wie mich). Die Atmosphäre ist urig, viel Platz drinnen wie draußen, und das Personal war wirklich ausnehmend freundlich.

Sehr netter Service und eine tolle kroatische Küche, die satt macht, dabei sind einige nicht alltägliche Kombinationen auf der Karte. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Peperoni mit Käse als Vorspeise.

Die Pola Pola war absolute Weltklasse! Die Cevapcici waren außen kross und innen saftig. Dazu gab es einen weiteren Fleischspieß und zudem Djuvecreis, Pommes und Ajvar. Der Vorspeisen - Salat kam natürlich vor dem ganzen Spektakel, nur hatten wir kein Besteck auf dem Tisch. Deswegen ein Stern Abzug für den Service! Die Kellner waren an dem Tag sehr bemüht, dennoch hätte ich es mir professioneller gewünscht. Wir hatten Nachsicht, denn - jeder macht Fehler! Alles im Rahmen! Kleiner reminder an den Inhaber: Gerne kann der Hauptgang sehr kurz nach der Vorspeise rausgehen ;-) Ambiente draußen hat Biergarten Qualitäten. Gemütlich und als Ausflugsziel bestimmt der beste Ort, um Energie zu tanken! Die Johannisbeersaftschorle war locker 70/30 - also, auch dort wurde nicht gespart. Für mich immer ein Indiz zu eventuell schlechterer Qualität eines Restaurants, wenn es zu 50/50 gemischt worden wäre! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Nette Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nachdem wir am Felsenmeer klettern waren, haben wir hier sehr lecker gegessen. Der Beilagensalat schmeckte richtig frisch, mit tollem Dressing. Das Jägerschnitzel hatte die richtige Größe, hat ebenfalls lecker geschmeckt und hat satt gemacht. Die Käsespätzle waren auch mega lecker; die Portionen sind schööön groß und machen richtig satt 👍; so muss das sein. Wir waren hier ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal. - Und der Service war ebenfalls prima.☀️

Wir waren gestern dort nach einer Wanderung zu Gast. Und als Gast darf man sich hier wirklich fühlen. Angefangen bei der Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Service bis hin zum hervorragenden Essen. Es hat absolut alles gepasst und einen schönen Tag noch ein wenig schöner gemacht. Von ganzem Herzen möchten wir uns bedanken. Oder wie mein Sohn nach dem Essen sagte: "Das waren die besten Spagetti Bolognese, die ich je gegessen habe. Hier möchte ich wieder herkommen!" Von einem 8-jährigen ist das wirklich das größte Kompliment.
