We came on the recommendation of an older couple who have been coming here for 25 years and have enjoyed their meals. We had an extremely delicious cabbage roll, and contrary to other reviews, the sauce was delicious. You can taste the love in the homemade sauce. We'd be happy to go back anytime; highly recommended.

The food is homemade and delicious. In the country inns around Berlin and Brandenburg, and here itself, you feel like you've been transported back to your childhood; it's just like it used to be. If you're in the area, you should choose a country inn for your meal; the food is still cooked with love. These country inns in Brandenburg are simply quaint to us. Unfortunately, they no longer exist here on the coast in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. So, in 2025, it was a must to visit them again during a vacation on Scharmützelsee. They serve German cuisine, and the dishes are just like you remember from your childhood.

It's always nice there. I've lived here for over 30 years and always enjoy coming back. The menu hasn't changed much, and that's a good thing. The quality and taste are just like they were 30 years ago.

We celebrated our 100th birthday at the Dorfkrug, and all our guests were thrilled! Delicious food, excellent service, and loving care. Thank you for a thoroughly successful celebration. Once again, all our guests praised the landlady's culinary skills! All the best for the future!

Ein Punkt ist noch zu viel. Mein Mann hatte ein Schnitzel mit Spiegelei, Gemüse und Salzkartoffeln, ich ein Gemüseschnitzel mit Salzkartoffeln, leider beides „sehr dunkel“ herausgebacken, wie sich herausstellte an der Unterseite an manchen Stellen fast schwarz. Als wir die Kellnerin darauf hinwiesen, meinte sie nur, das wir das gleich hätten sagen müssen, keine Entschuldigung. Das Gemüse waren Erbsen und Karotten aus der Dose, das Gemüseschnitzel wurde von einer undefinierbaren Glutamatsauce begleitet. Die Salzkartoffel waren das einzig Gute an den Speisen. Die Sauberkeit auf den Toiletten könnte auch stark verbessert werden.

It's not what it used to be for a long time..since the landlord died, many people don't go there anymore, he was the reason why many people went to the village pub..simply an original..looks and menu like 40 years ago, criticism is not accepted, you are held responsible if you don't like the food..luckily there are still good restaurants nearby where the waitresses don't keep you waiting chatting to other guests.

Very nice guesthouse, right near the beach at Wolziger See. There is also a parking lot directly opposite if you are traveling by car. Thanks to the naturally grown privacy screen on the main street, you can also sit outside a little more protected. Friendly service and good, tasty home-made food, especially the coleslaw is particularly good. Would love to come back.

We went to the Altes Dorfkrug for the first time today and had a nice spot outside on the terrace. We were served quickly and very friendly. The menu had great, wonderful home cooking and, above all, everything was home cooked. The food was super delicious. The ambience is very special and brought back fond memories of old times. We'd love to come back.

We were at the ALTEN Dorfkrug today and in contrast to the previous post, we are very pleased and grateful that time has stood still here. Unfortunately, this inn is one of the few remaining Brandenburg village restaurants. For decades, these restaurants shaped the village, the original, the cozy image of village life. Yes, and if the innkeepers sit down with the guests for a chat, but still serve the other guests in a friendly manner, I really can't see anything negative about that. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer Brandenburg inns in which this warmth is practiced, even towards strangers. It's nice that time has stood still a little in the Alter Dorfkrug. We felt totally at home and always enjoy coming here. Thanks to the staff! .......By the way, you can't get the aforementioned "Wiener-style schnitzel" in any decent inn in Munich for this price

Uniquely original! It's rare to find such a typical Brandenburg inn. In the hall, time seems to have been specially paused to admire. The boss herself is still standing in the kitchen. Go there and be amazed.

No recommendation! Fine for a cool drink after a long hike, but nothing more! The inn gives the impression in every respect as if time had stood still here about 40 years ago... When we arrived, the waitress was sitting at the only occupied table, drinking and chatting with a handful of guests. She was friendly to us, but would probably have preferred to stay seated... Even if we had actually wanted to eat something here, we wouldn't have been able to, as no card payment is accepted and, according to the waitress, there is no ATM in the area. Incidentally, the “Wiener Style Schnitzel” costs more here than in a restaurant in downtown Munich. Remarkable!

Der Alte Dorfkrug in Kolberg ist für seine hervorragende deutsche Küche und Eisern Union bekannt. Für uns ist er seit 1992 zur zweiten Heimat geworden. Wir wünschen, dass die Gastwirtschaft noch lange erhalten bleibt. 5 Sterne sind redlich verdient.

Eine echte urige Kneipe wie es sie zu DDR Zeiten überall gab. Ein absolutes Muß um in Erinnerungen der alten Zeit zu schweben oder um den jungen Leuten das DDR Flair näher zu bringen.

Kleine urgemütliche Gaststätte. Das Essen schmeckt super. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Hier fühlt man sich einfach wohl! Tolle Umgebung, sehr leckeres Essen (alles frisch u knackig) und ein sehr guter Service. Wir waren zu 4 da und alle mehr als zufrieden. Wenn man dort in der nähe ist dann einfach mal reinschauen-es lohnt sich .

Gut bürgerliche Küche, Personal war nett und aufmerksam. Die Schnitzelgerichte waren durchschnittlich gut, aber die Rinderleber bitte nicht bestellen.

Tolles Essen. Das Eisbein war riesig und zart und prima gepökelt. Schnitzel und Cordon Bleu waren super. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Macht weiter so. Ein großes Lob an die kochende Chefin.

Essen wie immer super. Chefin und Bedienung super. Schön das es noch solche Dorfgastätten gibt. Komme gern wieder.

Die gute gehetzte Dame war ein wenig gestresst, Soljanka (4,50 Euro) kühl bis lauwarm, Würzfleisch (5,50 Euro) naja... aber der urige Gastraum ist klasse ...

Wir haben super gegessen und die Bewirtung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen wieder....

Wir waren spontan hier, das Essen war frisch und selbst zubereitet. Wir wurden schnell und freundlich bedient. Wirklich lecker.
