Ein wirklich sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr geschmackvoll, Ein Neubau. Wahnsinns Fenster Flächen. Voll besetzt, unter der Woche. Die Bedienung nett und umsichtig, Essen lecker. Ein toller Abend. Nur relativ laut. Trotz allem doch ein großer, hoher Raum mit vielen Gästen. Ach ja: E- Fahrrad Parkplatz.

Essen genauso,wie bei anderen griechischen Restaurants.Nicht besser,nicht schlechter.Sehr laut.Ich persöhnlich finde das Essen dort nicht so gut,meine Freundin mags,Geschmäcker eben.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Nicht lange auf die Bestellung gewartet. Essen sehr lecker. Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber. Eine Reservierung ist von Vorteil.

Gemischte Erfahrung im Restaurant Akropolis. Sehr schönes Ambiente und tolles Interieur. Leider mussten wir sehr lange auf das Essen und die Rechnung warten. Der Service wirkte teilweise unerfahren und langsam.

Zur Tamara-Vorspeise wurde kein Weißbrot mitgeliefert. Auf telefonische Nachfrage wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass Brot separat bestellt werden müsse. Für mich persönlich sehr ungewöhnlich bei einem griechischen Restaurant und bei einem Bestellwert von über 55 € enttäuschend.

Der beste Grieche weit und breit. Das neue Lokal ist einfach super schön und man fühlt sich richtig wohl. Das Essen und das Personal ist Top. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Super Service! 👏 🙌 Das Essen war lecker. Meinem Mann war es etwas zu salzig. Wir haben die Gerichte 59 und 61, Oktopussalat und Knoblauchbrot mit Tomaten bestellt. 🍅 Das Knoblauchbrot mit Tomaten hat mir am besten geschmeckt. Einfach köstlich! P.S.: Die Beleuchtung ist perfekt für Fotos! 😆

Das Restaurant Akropolis in Velburg ist keinen Steinwurf von der Autobahnausfahrt entfernt und hat uns auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Die Speisen sind hervorragend und definitiv einen Besuch wert – frisch, geschmackvoll und authentisch zubereitet. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der ausgesprochen freundliche und zuvorkommende Service; das Personal sorgt dafür, dass man sich von Anfang an willkommen fühlt. Das neu gebaute Moderne Glasbau lädt mit seinem stilvollen und angenehmen Ambiente zum Verweilen ein. Hier stimmt einfach die Atmosphäre. Auch die Preise sind moderat und absolut angemessen für die gebotene Qualität. Um den Magen auf das darauffolgende Essen gebürtig vorzubereiten wird vorab ein Ouzo auf den Nacken des Hauses kredenzt. Bestellt wurde: Der Dorfteller Gegrillte Calamari mit Gyros Filetspieß mit Gyros inkl. Beilagen Salate und Pommes Frites und Zaziki (nicht zu Knoblauch lastig). Getränke Bier, Wein, Wasser, Aperol Spritz. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis – hier kehren wir gerne wieder mal ein!

Der Kundenservice ist hervorragend und das Essen immer fantastisch. Man wird nie enttäuscht.

Tolles modernes Restaurant, Essen 1a, netter Service, gerne wieder

Unglaublich modernes Restaurant. Das Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Speisen sind wirklich gut - qualitativ hat sich meiner Meinung nach nichts geändert! Portionen machen tatsächlich auch gut satt. Zu beachten ist nur, dass spontane Besuche nicht möglich sind - was aber auch nur für das Lokal selbst spricht. Man muss hier wirklich mit Wochen im voraus reservieren - als Tipp für all jene, die hier essen gehen möchte. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Sehr schöner Grieche mit top Preis Leistungs Verhältnis

Essen ist gut, außer Metaxa Soße, die kann man dort leider nicht essen. Preiserhöhung von über 6% beim Apollon Teller obwohl die Mehrwertsteuer gesenkt wurde. Abzocke

Essen war sehr gut..schönes Ambiente aber leider sehr laut,macht wahrscheinlich der hohe Raum aus und die grösse des Resteraunt. Hatten eine sehr freundliche Bedienung die immer einen kleinen Witz auf Lager hatte.

Personal incl. Chef waren sehr freundlich, Service top ,Essen war super und das Lokal ansicht hat einen unglaublichen Baumstil bzw Einrichtung. Alles bestens. Eine Reservierung würde ich empfehlen....

Diese Bewertung ist längst überfällig. Ich gehe seit Jahren ins Akropolis und es ist nach wie vor mein Lieblingsrestaurant in der Gegend. Ich komme immer wieder gerne, weil das Erlebnis durchweg außergewöhnlich ist. Der Service setzt Maßstäbe. Die Mitarbeiter sind professionell, aufmerksam und herzlich. Niko, der Inhaber, ist bemerkenswert. Trotz des vollen Restaurants nimmt er sich immer Zeit, die Gäste zu begrüßen und sich um sie zu kümmern. Über die Jahre ist mein Respekt für ihn so sehr gewachsen, dass er mir eher wie ein Familienmitglied als nur ein Gastronom vorkommt. Der neue Standort ist durchdacht gestaltet und optisch beeindruckend. Der moderne Grundriss, die bodentiefen Fenster und der offene Innenraum schaffen eine einladende Atmosphäre. Der Barbereich ist elegant und gleichzeitig gesellig – ideal, wenn man alleine isst. Die Barkeeper sind stets aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist hervorragend und von gleichbleibend hoher Qualität. Meiner Meinung nach ist es die beste griechische Küche, die ich in Deutschland gegessen habe. Das neuseeländische Lamm ist außergewöhnlich. Dieses Restaurant hat meine Sicht auf Lammfleisch komplett verändert. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an Vorspeisen, frischen Salaten, Meeresfrüchten und sogar Pizza – alles mit Sorgfalt und gleichbleibender Qualität zubereitet. Mein einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre die Erweiterung der Weinkarte um griechische Weine. Das würde die Authentizität des Restaurants noch unterstreichen und die Küche wunderbar ergänzen. Das Akropolis überzeugt durch exzellenten Service, ein tolles Ambiente und hervorragende Speisen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werde es auch in Zukunft gerne besuchen.

The food is delicious, the staff are always friendly despite being busy, and the restaurant is beautifully designed. The terrace is highly recommended in the summer. The takeaway service is also excellent; the food arrives piping hot and ready on time. Simply top-notch!

The price-performance ratio is very good. It gets very crowded as early as 11:30 am. Reservations are recommended. There is plenty of parking available, including supermarket parking lots nearby.

Newly built restaurant, very modern (if you like that sort of thing). They used to be in the city center. The quality and taste of the food were always excellent, and the friendly service made me want to come back again and again :-) See you next time.

We recently had our Christmas dinner there with 11 people – everything was absolutely delicious, everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. Spontaneous requests were immediately accommodated. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

For me, by far the best Greek restaurant within a 50km radius. Previously located in a charming old building in the heart of the old town, it now boasts a stylish new building with a view of our castle. A dream location meets dream food with generous portions and a price that reflects the quality.

The place is great, everything is top-notch, it's just the ordering that's a problem. You order fries and you get rice. It's a shame that you can't really hear your orders. It's a shame that you don't live next door but have to drive 10 kilometers. It's a shame that when you order on the menu it doesn't say that not everything includes tzatziki. It's really stupid. You have a dish for 20 euros and unfortunately you can only eat half because they just do what they want. I won't order anything from them again. And it's a shame that the portion is only half as much as in the shop itself, but the prices are the same whether you sit inside or order it to take home.

The restaurant is very nice and modern. The food was very good and the staff extremely friendly.

We wouldn't recommend it (we went there twice). Long waits for food (over an hour). Very crowded and loud—you feel like you're in a mass-processing area. The hospitality feels different (we've experienced it differently at other Greek restaurants). We didn't get any ouzo on either visit. The restaurant has much more potential with appropriate improvements. We wouldn't go back.

The food, service, and atmosphere were absolutely top-notch! The price/performance ratio was perfect. After we paid, my daughter wanted another scoop of ice cream. The manager brought the ice cream with a friendly smile and said it was on the house. Where else can you find something like that these days? I had gyros at Metaxa and was shocked when the small bowl was placed on the table. Conclusion: Smaller portions and higher prices. At home, I treated myself to a piece of cake, and afterward, I was full.

The Greek restaurant in Velburg offers plenty of space both inside and outside. We received a friendly welcome; reservations are definitely recommended for Sunday lunch. A lovely ambiance, rather simple, and a good selection of dishes. The food was truly delicious, and we were very satisfied with the starters and main courses. Service was also good.

A great atmosphere and delicious dishes await you here. We had to wait a bit, but we were rewarded with excellent food. We were seated inside at first, but before we ordered, we were politely asked if we wanted to sit outside after a larger table became available. The waiters were all very friendly, even though it was certainly stressful in a restaurant of this size. If you're looking to celebrate a birthday or other event, I think this is the place for you.

It's simply the best Greek restaurant. The food is very good and the atmosphere is always friendly. No matter what the crowd is, the food never takes too long. The main courses could be a little larger. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Restaurant Akropolis Velburg is the best in the region

Unfortunately we had to wait 20 minutes before someone took our order and then 30 minutes for the food... Food was ok but nothing special... what a shame!

The food is really good and the service also. The new restaurant has to much action sometime it is so full no seats available and you can't even place a to go order. It's just to busy for me .

We were there at lunchtime on Epiphany with our family, 4 adults and two children. The ambience is chic and brand new, but also has an atmosphere like in a large canteen. Sure, it was a holiday but a restaurant has to be prepared for it. The salad came after 45 minutes, the main course after 70 minutes. The children couldn't stand it anymore. Not a single word of regret from the waitress, as if it were completely normal. The food average. No more ouzo served. That should at least have been offered considering the long waiting time. I'm no longer drawn there.

Arrived at 5:05 p.m., 3/4 of the seats available. Apparently everything is reserved. Sure, they'll all come in the next hour. Only a small part was covered. Well, that was it for the restaurant. Addition: Now we went there with friends. The waitresses were nice and the food was okay. But we had to wait 1.5 hours for the food, our friends said it had been like that the last time……. doesn't work at all.
