We happened to pass by on our bike tour and were thrilled. Everything fits in this inn. It's nice to sit inside and outside. The food and service were perfect. 1 year later - we're back on our bikes. Food and service again very good. For this you have to accept 50 km of bad cycling routes.

You should definitely take a break here: In the immediate vicinity of Fürstlich-Drehna Castle and Park, embedded in the forest and meadows, the court garden and restaurant "Zum Hirsch" offer first-class hospitality in relaxing seclusion. Whether for lunch or dinner, for a piece of delicious cake, an ice cream from our own production (clear recommendation: dark chocolate!!!) or simply a thirst quencher in between... you are welcome here and will be looked after in a friendly manner. Therefore, special praise to the kitchen and service staff. And if you plan to stay one or two days longer, there are also guest rooms.

It was our first time on vacation in the Spreewald and we stayed in this beautiful inn. The double room we booked was very clean, there were fresh towels every day and shower supplies were also available. The staff is very, very friendly and accommodating, fulfilled our every wish and seemed very authentic. The location is nice and quiet right next to the castle and the surrounding area can be easily reached by car. Also definitely suitable for bike tours. The outdoor area of ​​the inn is very idyllic with cute little tables, lots of decorations, sun protection and a porch swing, which we loved. All in all, we were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back with our dog! Dear inn team: Thank you for your friendly nature. We felt very taken care of ☺️

Very friendly and courteous staff, nice clean rooms, great food and drinks. All destinations can be reached from here in a short time.

The food was perfect. The vegetables were tasty and still had a bite. The beef head bäggli was so tender, almost like a fillet, I didn't need a knife. Again any time.

On the way through we stopped here and had something to drink. The service was very quick and friendly. The blueberry buttermilk cake was really delicious!

We had booked a room. Arrived there after 70 km on the bike. We were told the restaurant was closed, a day off. We could have seen it on the website. “You could have” briefly noted this in the reservation confirmation. (Service 2 stars) The room was tight but OK The next day, food was good. Breakfast OK

We celebrated a youth consecration here and it was a good thing. You have to look for a bit of parking space but it's ok. The celebration took place in the small room. A table for over 20 people was beautifully decorated. The staff, very friendly, very nice and really attentive. I would also like to emphasize the friendliness towards children. The food (lunch and coffee) was good in my opinion. (I was completely satisfied) Any requests or changes were taken into account. However, there was also criticism from within the ranks. Drinks were brought quickly. Between meals it was nice to go for a walk in the neighboring park. It was a beautiful day.

The place and the hotel are very nice. Especially the great park at the castle. The food at the Gasthof zum Hirsch is very good and recommended. Unfortunately I have to mention one negative point. The mattresses are a bit sagging and the duvet is very heavy. Otherwise the room is very nice. Breakfast was excellent. We had a lovely time in this place.

Very nice and thoughtful service, dogs are very welcome, there are rooms where you can check in with a dog. The hotel and restaurant are located in a great restored inn, upstairs with old wooden floorboards and double windows (listed monument?). It has charm and atmosphere, is clean, tidy and well maintained. Behind the house there is a courtyard with a beer garden and parking spaces for hotel guests. We are thrilled by the incredible peace and quiet that prevails in Fürstlich Drehna - and the friendliness and openness of the people. Now in May the mosquitoes come from about half past seven in the evening - the upper windows of the hotel rooms have gauze so that you can still ventilate without worrying. Well thought out! Overall, we were delighted from the first moment and can definitely recommend the inn and hotel.

We had a delicious meal there yesterday and today. The staff was very friendly and funny! (especially in the kitchen!) And, when the chefs are in a good mood, the food is good.🤷‍♂️

We reserved this restaurant for part of our wedding. We tried there several times, the food was very good, but unfortunately every time the staff was unfriendly outside the kitchen. We were hoping it was just a bad day, but even the night before the wedding the staff's mood wasn't any better. It's a shame because the quality of the food is really great and recommended... but the unfriendly atmosphere outside the kitchen spoils the overall experience.

Went there for dinner 3 times, 3 times absolutely great - we loved the burger on Thursday, the Wild Burger 🍔 was super good. The service was also great. Be sure to stop by!

We are now for the third time during our vacation at the Schlosshotel Fürstlich Drehna, always to eat in this great inn. And, like the first time, it was extremely tasty. No matter whether it's cake, coffee, lentils or a hearty lunch, everything tastes really great! The service is super fast, polite, courteous and always available for a fun chat at the table. We really felt very comfortable there again. We'll be back, promise!

We didn't spend the night, just dined today after a bike ride. We felt warmly welcome, a quick, friendly chat when we served it and the food was great. The beer from the nearby brewery was also excellent. We will be back.

Should you pull yourself together on a Saturday evening and drive to a small town on the edge of a former opencast mine to go out for dinner? If you want to go to the “Hirsch”, definitely! Centrally located in the center of town, right next to the castle with its park that is ideal for taking a walk, you will find a comfortably furnished restaurant. The menu is nicely arranged and is supplemented by regularly changing daily offers. The dishes on offer are beautifully prepared, of very high quality and the taste is hard to beat. The various types of ice cream for dessert are homemade. The extremely nice lady from the service explained the dishes on offer to us and also gave us a suitable drink recommendation. We felt like welcome guests and were able to spend a great evening here. It wasn't our first visit to the "Hirsch" and it won't be our last either. Many thanks to the entire team.

The price-performance ratio in this restaurant is absolutely not good at all. Due to an event in the “Festsaal” there was only a small menu when we visited. This could have been communicated when we made a table reservation two weeks ago. THREE of FIVE items ordered were not brought to the table correctly. Instead of still water, there was carbonated water and the two veal schnitzels we ordered were initially served with fries instead of potatoes. This was only resolved after a complaint. The food was bland and only halfway edible after a lot of seasoning. The mushrooms in the cream sauce appeared to come from a can. For “dessert” we ordered a coffee and a double espresso. This was partially spilled when served. This can happen and is not a bad thing. What shouldn't happen is that no cloth was subsequently brought to clean up the spilled coffee. The espresso was then allowed to be “enjoyed” from a dripping cup. When paying we discovered that the potatoes, which REPLACED the fries as a side dish, were charged as two extra portions. The large Diet Coke was billed as two small Diet Cokes. Neither was communicated as part of the ordering process. The conclusion is that €75.50 is clearly too expensive for bland food and poor/inattentive service.

Food is highly recommended, we were there several times because it simply tasted incredibly good. Staff very authentic, nice and accommodating. Restaurant very cozy with a feel-good factor. Clear recommendation and a must if you are nearby! Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms since we stayed in the castle.

Google maps led us to this place when we were looking for a restaurant. It wasn't a disappointment, on the contrary. Super nice and friendly service. Unknowingly, we were there before the kitchen opened and the chef got to work straight away. We decided on the wild platter and were totally thrilled. Lovingly prepared and very tender meat from the local hunter. For dessert we treated ourselves to a crème brulee with a scoop of homemade stracciatella ice cream. A poem. We immediately saved this inn as a favorite.

Ist echt nh schöne sache kann man voll machen

Wir waren schon ein paar Mal im Gasthof zum Mittagessen. Mehr oder weniger per Zufall hatten wir, als wir unterwegs auf der A13 waren, diesen Gasthof "gegoogelt" und angesteuert. Der Gasthof liegt ca. 20 km von der A13 entfernt. Das Gebäude des Gasthofs ist sehr schön renoviert worden. Viele Details, zum Beispiel die originalen Fensterriegel, die alten Kastenschlösser an den Türen und die Holzdielen, wurden erhalten und geben dem Gasthof seinen besonderen Charakter. Es gibt eine kleine Speisekarte und Tagesangebote je nach Saison an einer Wandtafel. Die Augen essen bekanntlich immer mit - die ausgewählten Gerichte werden sehr schön auf den Tellern angerichtet. So schön, wie sie dann aussehen, schmecken sie auch! Mein Wildschweinsteak z.B. war, wie man so schön sagt, auf den Punkt gegart. Wer sich was schönes gönnen möchte - der kleine Umweg lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Da der Gasthof zur Mittagszeit gut besucht ist, sollte man besser vorher dort anrufen und Plätze reservieren lassen.

Wir waren mit der Familie zu Mittag essen und waren schlichtweg begeistert! Vom freundlichen Service bis zu dem ausgezeichneten Gerichten hat alles gepasst! Gerne wieder!

Wir haben dort sehr lecker zu Abend gegessen. Der von uns lange zuvor reservierte Platz, der uns zugeteilt wurde, war nicht sehr schön. Trotzdem 5 Sterne, in der Hoffnung das nächste Mal einen schöneren Platz zu erhalten, ausserdem war das Essen perfekt!

Eher zufällig eingekehrt und trotz viel Betrieb wurden zwei Plätze im Biergarten "organisiert". Schnelle Bedienung,super lecker, Preis Leistung perfekt. Waren den nächsten Abend noch ein zweites Mal dort.

Wir waren zum Essen dort. Man kann schön im Biergarten sitzen und das Essen war sehr gut. Preise sind angemessen. Abends muss man reservieren wegen der Nähe zum Schlosshotel.

Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nur ganz zufällig dran vorbei gekommen sind und im Außenbereich gegessen haben. Das Ambiente, die Lokalität, die Bedienung, das Essen waren ausgezeichnet. Man sitzt sehr idyllischen im Hof der Gaststätte. Das Wetter hat mitgespielt, trotz Nichtreservierung wurde uns ein Tisch frei gemacht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker. Es war ein toller und gelungener Besuch. Kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes freundliches Gasthaus mit sehr gelegten Zimmer. Zimmer top Frühstück top Personal top Sehr schön ruhig gelegen. Leider oder zum Glück ein wenig abseits gelegen, für Fahrräder und Auto gut zu erreichen. Auch kein Problem mit unseren kleinen Hund, würde gut aufgenommen. Werden gerne wieder kommen.

Waren heute im Restaurant zum Abendessen, hatten im Netz Plätze für 18 Uhr reserviert - hat wunderbar geklappt (Platzreservierung empfohlen - Restaurant ist sehr gefragt). Service ist sehr, sehr flott und nett - so etwas haben wir lange nicht mehr erlebt. Speisen sehr lecker, alles selber hergestellt - keine TK - Kost. Preis/ Leistung stimmen hier. Gerne mal wieder....

Wir haben nur 2 Biere hier getrunken. Das Drenaher Bier (Pils) aus der Brauerei um die Ecke hat uns viel besser geschmeckt als das Feldschlößchen aus Dresden vom Faß. 4 € für 0.5 Liter.

Der Gasthof ist regional seit langer Zeit recht bekannt. Nach dem Wechsel der Betreiber sind wir das erste Mal wieder mit den 🚲 vorbeigekommen. Das Ambiente ist von urig zum modern Style gewechselt. Dieser ist durchaus zeitgemäß schick und reduziert. 💁🏻‍♂️Eigentlich schade, da ein Stück 🆔 auf der Strecke geblieben ist. Die Speisekarte ist völlig okay. Das Dreierlei Wild ist eine Empfehlung. Das Braumeisterschnitzel dagegen geschmacklich eher nicht, auch der angerichtete Teller optisch sehr gelungen war. Insgesamt passt alles. Das Preisniveau kann jeder selbst beurteilen. Die Speisekarte ist auf der Website veröffentlicht.

Wenn wir im Schlosshotel eingecheckt sind waren wir jedes Mal mindestens einmal hier Essen. Das hat mehrere Gründe - zum einen ist das Essen regional deftig und sehr lecker und zum anderen ist die Bedienung einfach so freundlich. Sie gehen flexibel auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein und wenn man den Kaffe an der Schaukel draussen trinken mag obwohl noch gar nicht geöffnet ist, wird ein Weg gefunden, um das möglich zu machen. So eine Freundlichkeit ist einfach toll. Weiter so 👌

Sehr gutes Speisenangebot zu tollen Preisen . Freundliche und nette Bedienung . Großer Pluspunkt : Das Bier aus der benachbarten Brauerei kann hier genossen werden . Ein Besuch der sich gelohnt hat .

Nichts mehr übrig vom guten „alten“ Restaurant. Unverschämt teuer geworden und von 7 Essen waren 3 kalt. Selbst nach dem Aufwärmen in der Mikro waren 2 der Essen (Tagliatelle) immer noch nicht heiß. Dass dritte Essen,- ein Schnitzel, war trocken und hart. Muss ich mich nicht mehr antun. Für die nächsten Jahre werde ich für unsere Zusammenkunft eine andere Lokalität suchen.

On a very special event for her X0th birthday, my mum not only spend a couple night in a castle (Schloss Fuerstlich Drehna) but she also was in for a huge surprise when the whole family waited for her in the nearby restaurant to celebrate her big day altogether. 🎉😊 They had some amazing game dishes and with the restaurant almost for ourselves we had an amazing time with the family. It probably was not the easiest (/ quietest) evening for the staff but they seemed well-entertained and they have been really good to us and were an important part of this special experience. 👌🏼😊

Freundlicher Empfang, erfreulich übersichtliche Speisekarte, angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Essen kam fix auf gewärmten Tellern und war sehr schmackhaft. Im Sommer draußen zu sitzen ist sicher noch schöner.

Wir waren mit dem nahegelegenen Schloss nicht zufrieden und wurden dafür im Hirsch umso freundlicher empfangen. Sehr nettes und auch zu Scherzen aufgelegtes Personal. Ausgezeichnetes Essen zu vernünftigen Preise und der Doppelbock von der Brauerei "um die Ecke" schmeckt vorzüglich!

Bloß kein Einzelzimmer (entspricht einer Besenkammer), mitunter unfreundliche Inhaber/in. Das war die größte Enttäuschung. Essen, naja, so wie auf dem Foto oben zu sehen - ANGEBRANNT, wenn der alte Inhaber versucht hat zu kochen. Servicekraft war nicht in der Lage Eier zu kochen. In der Gaststätte riecht es vormittags übelst nach Essen. Teilweise schmutzige Ecken. Ekelhaft.
