Our visit to "Woaza" in Füssen was certainly not a highlight! Absolutely everything here is canned (Maultaschen, cream sauce, salad dressing, potato wedges, etc.), and the "bread" served is cheap toast. Furthermore, the faucet in the toilet was broken.

A typical Bavarian-style restaurant, with outdoor seating, an indoor dining room, and a courtyard garden. The atmosphere is spacious and charming. The food is good, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the waiter who served us spoke little English, so it was a bit difficult to get more information about the dishes.

A charming place, especially in the garden, where locals were gathered in their colorful costumes. The service was very friendly, especially the Tyrolean waiter, whose dialect and smile were infectious. We ate pork chops (Schnitzel) with mushrooms, pork knuckle with cabbage, and spinach dumplings, and drank some very good local draft beer – I recommend it. Please bring cash with you :)

I don't recommend eating here because food is mediocre, service speaks a poor English and has been rude to us Also this place only accepts cash (no cards: in fact we almost quarrelled with the staff because it was not advertised anywhere - no signs on the door nor on the menu - that the place only accepts cash. The soup portion is extremely small. The "bowl" was just a bit bigger than a coffee cup. The waiter seemed bored and there was no sign that you can only pay by cash. The fact that there were plenty of empty tables should have been a warning, considering that in other places you had to wait. I would not return to eat here.

I was walking alone in the pedestrian zone in Füssen this afternoon. At Woaze, I experienced very good and quick service; the Alpine schnitzel was a very generous portion, and the small salad was also beautifully presented. It was truly delicious and filling. We ate there, the feast platter was ok but the salad was spicy, we couldn't eat it, we told the waiter who wanted to pass it on but nothing came from the boss, we had to pay for the salad, I think that's a disgrace, if the boss had at least come to us then I wouldn't have said anything, I'm not going there anymore

As a northern German, we've eaten a knuckle of pork, and we know that the rind should be crispy. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

A very successful stay, from start to finish. Very efficient and friendly staff. We were there with 43 people and, after a very good meal with ample portions, we were able to leave the restaurant after an hour to continue our program. We sat in the idyllic beer garden. Everything was clean, even the restrooms, despite the restaurant being full. Three other restaurants turned us away because our group was too large, but here it was no problem at all. We read online that payment was only possible in cash, and we were prepared for that. We would gladly return. 5 stars is fine.

Location with a nice terrace facing the street. We had the Obazda (traditional German sausage), which tasted okay. Unfortunately, it was served with very tasteless brown bread, which seemed to be bought in slices. We also had the spinach dumplings, which were also okay. Overall, everything seemed less homemade and more convenience food. Service was also rather lackluster. The beer was good.

Good restaurant in the center of Füssen, they have many tables available both outside on the square, inside the restaurant or in an internal garden Fast and courteous service, typical Bavarian dishes and beer, all very tasty.

Rather disappointing. The schnitzel that I ordered didn’t come, they gave me something similar but not a schnitzel. Waiters didn’t understand German very well, such a shame because the beergarten has a potential. Will not go again.

A small but fine restaurant in downtown Füssen. The food on the menu is a bit limited, but the portions are okay. There's also a kids' menu :) For my personal taste, there could have been a bit more "love" on the plates, but otherwise everything was good. You pay €20 for a meal and €5 for a drink, so it's all within typical Allgäu range. Please leave me a ❤️ :)

The courtyard is very beautiful and quiet. We had pork knuckle, which was delicious. Our special requests, such as fried potatoes instead of dumplings, were accommodated without any problems. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good, home-style food.

The food was cold and unseasoned. The sauce, especially with the knuckle of pork, was a packet of sauce that turned into a jelly-like lump after two minutes. The service was very curt and irritable. The seats in front of the restaurant were dirty and weren't cleaned after guests left. Due to the historic courtyard, the overall review is more positive.

Poor quality food, lots of finished products. The consistency of the sauce from the schnitzel was pudding-like and contained glutamate. The turkey steak was oversalted. Allergens not excellent. Service slow and unfriendly. Not a single vegan dish on the menu and not even card payment possible. We absolutely cannot recommend the restaurant.

Our visit to the inn started promisingly - we were greeted very friendly. But after that everything got out of hand. We waited 30 minutes for the order, another 20 minutes for the drinks and finally over an hour for the food. The taste was okay, but the ready-made sauce for the roast pork was disappointing by Bavarian standards. The waiter seemed to be overwhelmed by the large beer garden, which was also noticeable at the neighboring tables. Due to the long waiting times and inadequate support, we unfortunately cannot recommend the inn.

Beautiful old brewery in downtown Füssen. Cozy interior with friendly service and delicious good food. Portions are ok and so are the prices. We were very satisfied and will visit again this holiday. We can recommend it.

We had dinner there with 6 people last week. Had breaded schnitzel with fries, cheese spaetzle, Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle and spinach dumplings with cream sauce and salad. The schnitzels were bland (unseasoned) and very thin. Breading not crispy. no lettuce included. The Käsepätzle with cheap cheese. When I complained about the mushroom cream sauce, the cook said maybe it was also the boss, he would prepare the sauce with mushrooms and the kitchen staff would then finish it. You need a lot of imagination to recognize this as mushroom cream sauce. I told him it was flour mush. He said that instead of flour, Mondamin was used! There was probably a little too much of it in the sauce. Aside from the fact that no spices or herbs were used, I wonder: Where did he learn to cook? As an apology, two drinks were not charged.

Super great food and great value for money...

As tourists we just wanted to have a drink there. When it was clear that we didn't want to eat anything, the lady handed us the card in a rather unfriendly manner. Then we waited in vain for 15 minutes and apparently weren't allowed to order anything. Then a restaurant moved on. Not very hospitable and no feel-good factor.

Unfortunately our visit was disappointing. Communication with the waiter was difficult and there were always problems with understanding. The food was served incorrectly and was also very salty. The cola I ordered tasted more like SodaStream water with a splash of syrup - definitely not enjoyable. And as an Allgäu resident, I say that none of this has anything to do with a pub. Overall, a disappointing experience that we wouldn't want to have again.

Very nice and informal typical place. The innkeepers always smiling, very kind and attentive. The food was plentiful and tasty. Maybe I would have preferred my spatzle to be stringier but they were still excellent. The only downside is that they only accept cash. For the rest, absolutely worth coming back!

If you are looking for a place to eat something typical and drink a good beer, this is the right place. While I was wandering around the center I was also looking for a place to eat and among the many I chose this one. I would say that the choice turned out to be the right one, good food, fast and precise service and a modest price. I recommend it to all tourists.

Terribly unfriendly! We ate there on November 2nd and felt like leaving after 3 minutes! In the evening we asked for a table for 4 people. We couldn't get a table straight away without a reservation, which wasn't a problem in itself, but we were told that everything was actually reserved, but that we could sit in the corner because the table wouldn't be there until later is needed. We took off our jackets and wanted to sit down and were stopped by an incredibly unfriendly lady with “WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR HERE?” We were totally perplexed, but unfortunately we were too hungry to go eat somewhere else. When ordering, my Dutch friend unfortunately couldn't order a pork knuckle because they apparently didn't have any left, but people who came after us were inexplicably able to order some. So not only rude but also racist. After we decided not to tip, the waitress pointed to the receipt and said “TIP IS NOT INCLUDED”. (we ordered in the most Bavarian dialect you can imagine) So if you feel like rude, racist service and cold cheese, I can recommend the restaurant.

There were 4 of us and we were looking forward to delicious Bavarian cuisine. When we came in, everything downstairs was already full and, in short, we got seats upstairs. Afterwards we stood there and didn't know which direction we had to go. When I was able to get the servants' attention again and asked how we were going to get upstairs, she laughed at me and said we'll take the stairs here. But even now no answer in which direction. Actually, we should have left there already. So after a short search we are up. Waiters very nice and attentive. Then the food came. We had farmer's feast 3 times and 1 schnitzel with fries. Sorry whoever writes here that the food is good, I don't want to know what else they eat. The roast pork was delicious, the liver dumpling was not edible, the 3 small sausages were still raw on the inside and on every plate. Achieving something like this is quite an art. Sauerkraut completely overcooked, but tastes edible. Fried potatoes are larger pieces of potato fried, which were also ok. The schnitzel was good but sorry, the thin fries were a real shame. But then I had to go to the toilet I would have done that better beforehand and then I would have gone straight back. I've never experienced anything like that. 2 women's toilets available. 1 could not be used because the door was broken and you couldn't close it. The 2 was a nightmare Everything was covered in pee and there was toilet paper on the floor. The toilet full of urine and toilet paper and not flushed. A terrible smell. I really have to ask “What kind of giant swine are some women? “ But I also blame the landlord. When I handle so many guests, the toilets have to be checked regularly. The men's toilets were ok. Our conclusion once and unfortunately never again

Not recommended!!! It's not my habit to write negative reviews, I always try to find the positive side... but in this place I found a rude waitress with little kindness towards Italians... Food nothing special I thought better... I give one star to be able to write the review. Typically Bavarian and absolutely inviting! The inn impresses with its cozy atmosphere and delicious food served hot. The location in the middle of the old town is perfect, and we even had the pleasure of enjoying street music with violin and singing - a real highlight. Definitely worth a visit!

The service, ambience and location were great, but the food was not so good. Both children's schnitzels were completely over salted, the breading crumbled off if you looked at the schnitzel askance. We'd be happy to come back for a drink, but we'll eat somewhere else.

Nothing comes from nothing and we could/should have thought that a main course for 12 euros is no longer any good these days. The cheese spaetzle had the aftertaste of the serving pan, the Allgäu spinach dumplings were floury and were in canned mushroom sauce that had already set, a few cheese crumbs represented the Allgäu. Inside, the furniture contained more types and colors of wood than in the local hardware store. Floor, benches, cupboards, chairs, everything inconsistent. Two empty beer mugs on the windowsill served as decorations or holders for the curtain, we don't know. But if you want to travel inexpensively, you can definitely eat there. For us it was saving in the wrong place.

Cash only. Füssen is, in essence, a tourist town. I say this because the prices of the restaurant are decent given the prices of the competition. The food is not spectacular, but it is well-seasoned; in a word, it is nice. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, if a little absent from time to time. But after a tall glass of a beer and a VERY generous portion of Schnitzel and Spetzel, you won’t really remember or mind. If you are looking for German food in Füssen, keep this place in mind.

There was a very rude employee. When I showed him the menu and asked if this was the menu on the table next to me, he said, “I don’t know, so search it on Google.” I was asking because I was unfamiliar with cheese noodles, but what kind of server could Google their menu? Should I search for it?;; I regret paying 50 euros in cash to come here.

Boar! Rarely eaten so deliciously! A 100% recommendation for the Woaze. We ate goulash, roast pork and the spaetzle pan. Pictures attached. Nice Bavarian inn atmosphere. Prices are comparatively cheap. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was too salty and the salad came more from a can than fresh. The service showed no interest in our criticism. Probably won't come back.

The four of us spontaneously came in the evening and got a place straight away. The waitresses are friendly, attentive and on the ball. The food was delicious, the portions were sufficient and the price was reasonable. We are happy to recommend the inn and will definitely visit it again.

We went for lunch today. The first impression is that it is clean, nice to sit outside and the dining room is also very rustic in its own way. The service was quick at our table with the menu. We kindly asked about our drink request and she quickly fulfilled it. We order a roast pork with sauerkraut and a dumpling and a feast with various Bavarian delicacies. The food was at the table extremely quickly. The portions were generous. Now unfortunately the negative: the sauces were unfortunately not what you would expect from a roast pork. The ready-made powder tastes thick like jelly. The dumpling, let's say grade 3 - was in the water or in the convection oven for a little longer, the meat was a little dry, the piece of burnt pork crust didn't help either, the sauerkraut was a little too mushy, too cooked, but whoever likes it. Unfortunately the feast platter wasn't any better, the liver dumpling must have been swimming around in the pot for a while. 16.90 euros for the roast pork and 20.90 euros for the feast platter was too much. A good sauce is not rocket science; you have to wait 15 minutes longer for the food to be fresh from the pot. But as the saying goes, they are tourists, they come once and never again.

They were really, really friendly, so I was in a really good mood before eating, and I enjoyed both the Schweinhakse and the schnitzel😍 The potato dumplings that came with the Schweinhakse... The potato dumplings had a more vivid texture than the ones I've had at other places, so I said the potato dumplings weren't delicious. My boyfriend also enjoyed it a lot haha. The schnitzel was nice and thick! If it's too thin, it's not good...! There are outdoor tables on the street side, but there is a garden inside the store after passing indoors, and there are outdoor tables there too! There were very few foreigners and it felt like a local restaurant.. haha. I enjoyed it 🥰

Bitter disappointment. Service not very uncommunicative. Special ordered according to the menu and received Mezzo Mix. Not a real specialist. Then ordered the spinach dumplings. Chunky hunter's sauce with canned mushrooms and simple grated cheese from the package on the dumplings. Worse than in the canteen. The food was super tasty, the roast pork with sauerkraut and a dumpling was excellently prepared and tasted really great. I particularly liked the crispy crust of the roast. I also had a banana and cherry spritzer, which also tasted very good. The service was very attentive and friendly, so you immediately felt at home. The atmosphere was authentically Bavarian, cozy and inviting. Unfortunately we couldn't find a parking space in the immediate vicinity.

The cheese spaetzle was with delicious cheese and homemade fried onions, served in an iron pan. However, this gave off flavor to the food, which meant that the spaetzle had an aftertaste of iron throughout, which was a shame. The schnitzel was good, unfortunately the fries weren't homemade. All in all it was okay, the prices are also cheap and fair. However, you couldn't pay by card... I wouldn't come here again to eat.

Hello first of all. Yesterday we were at the Woaze inn. We then decided on the goulash. It came very quickly and we didn't even take two sips of our drink. The sight of the goulash and the rest of the food amazed me. The food was also lukewarm, the (fresh) spaetzle submerged in the red cabbage sauce. Since we were hungry we just choked it down. When we commented when we paid, the friendly waitress brought us two schnapps, which we hadn't asked for, but it was still nice. We've been near Fussen for another 2 weeks now, but we don't have to go there anymore.
