This is a wonderful and quiet shop located in the stylish cobblestone streets of the old town. Luckily, I made a reservation at noon that day and there was only one seat available, so I made a reservation at 6pm. Everything in Füssen closes at 8pm and there aren't many shops, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. And this store is very correct! The lady running the store is kind and helpful, and the interior decoration is stylish and has a nice atmosphere. All the important meals are perfect! Everything from the cutlets to the white sausage was delicious! I want to go again! Along the way, many customers without reservations were turned away.

Very nice cozy restaurant. A bit rustic, but that's exactly what makes it so charming. It had just started raining and we were hungry. When we (two of us) came to the restaurant, we were lucky that we were able to get a table. I think a reservation is recommended, especially if you are a larger group. We really enjoyed the food. The service was also very quick, friendly and attentive. There's nothing to complain about.

We were lucky to get a table but we came in early 5pm. So highly recommend that you book in advance. Food is delicious and one of the best snitzels we’ve had.

Freundliches Personal, wir hatten beim Vorbeigehen reserviert (was auch definitiv besser war) schöne, ruhige Terrasse mit Decken falls es einem kalt wird. Schnelle Bedienung. Verschiedene Flammkuchen genommen (Speck, Allgäu und Lachs) alle waren toll aer die Allgäu hat am meisten Geschmack.

Had a fantastic meal at Beim Ditsch. My wife and I had soup, rosti with smoked salmon and the Snitzel all of which were excellent. The hosts were also very nice and hospitable. It was one of the best meals we had while travelling in Germany and Austria. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommend.

We were in the restaurant yesterday. Price-performance was okay. Unfortunately we weren't that impressed with the food. (We had roulades and Kässpatzen). It was edible but nothing special (the sauce reminded us a bit of ready-made sauce). The side salad tasted like water with herbal vinegar. The service was very nice, the gentleman behind the counter was a bit snotty about parking the stroller. We also got the high chair ourselves (I discovered by chance that there was one in the hallway to the toilet and then asked). We were also looking for a typically Bavarian restaurant... but unfortunately we didn't discover too many "typically Bavarian" dishes.

We were looking for a typical Bavarian restaurant in Füssen and definitely found it here. We were welcomed and served by an extremely nice waitress. The prices are very reasonable and the food is simple, but exactly what we were looking for at that moment. The goulash soup was particularly tasty and the white sausages were also tasty. There was also sweet mustard from the area and a good shandy. Definitely a recommendation for people who want to experience the culture of Bavaria in Füssen.

Such a friendly atmosphere that we came twice during our visit. There were no issues despite my husband's severe allergies to nuts and peanuts. We tried the following dishes on our visit: Weibwurst mit Breze 4/5 White sausages with Pretzel. The sausage was nice and flavourful and paired superbly with the sweet mustard and the pretzel was also very nice. Kasspatzen mit Salat 5/5 This reminded me of a mac and cheese. The Allagu cheese flavour was very rich and the fried crunchy bits added a nice texture. If compared to a mac and cheese, probably one of the best ones we've had. Fleischpilanzerl mit Kartoffelsalat 4/5 The meatball was nice flavourful and juicy and the potato salad was a nice touch. The soups were also nice and hearty. Warmed us up after a cold day!

Great Bavarian food. Nice couple that attends the restaurant. They recommended the Schnitzel with potato salad, which was great. Just pay attention as they close really early and they get quite busy, so I recommend getting a reservation and arriving maximum 6pm.

The homepage says open until 8 p.m., we were there at 6:45 p.m. and were sent away. Sorry then write that in.👎

Stumbled into this place in July when touring. In honesty we were looking for a drink as we waited on the bus. This was the most welcoming establishment wandering round Füssen that we came across. Great friendly staff, a real warm engaging atmosphere as we came in. Intended to only have drinks but we stayed longer than expected and had food also. The food was amazing. The lady who served us was really patient and spoke incredible English, helping us to pick items from the menu. Wonderful place - highly recommended.

Atención buenísima, llegamos sin reserva y esperamos a que recogieran la mesa e incluso barrieron el suelo. Comida muy buena, típica alemana, la camarera nos recomendó algunos platos y acertamos de lleno. El postre riquísimo. Sitio muy agradable, diría el que más nos ha gustado de nuestra visita al sur de Alemania comiendo en la calle durante 9 días.

The food is good, but nothing special. Portions are small. The ordered bretz with leberkaze was delivered without mustard (it was indicated on the menu).

Fantastic Bavarian restaurant. Warm and welcoming location, right in the center of Fussen, friendly and very attentive staff. Amazing food, a true Bavarian culinary experience, explained in detail by the staff themselves. If you pass through Fussen it is an experience absolutely worth trying, like the desserts. Excellent beers and superlative local amaro. Simply a must!!!

If you are looking for a place to eat without spending a fortune, this is the right place.

We thought we were coming to eat at a restaurant. This was more of an upscale snack bar. That was mainly due to our expectations. We were thinking of a traditional setting. Very friendly service from an older lady. The young gentlemen in the service and kitchen wore baggy clothing. We wouldn't come again anytime soon. Although you may find it just fine.

Per 2 sere abbiamo cenato in questo locale tipico bavarese dove si riesce a cenare in abbondanza con una media di 15/20€ a testa, cosa non semplice in questa zona dove un caffè costa 3€. A me è piaciuto sia il polpettone (leibacase) che il wurstel bianco bollito accompagnati sia da pratzle che da insalata di patate. Promosso!

I came here because the reviews on Google were good. The staff (a couple?) were very friendly and always served customers with a smile. I also appreciated that they spoke to me in English. I ordered schnitzel and meatballs and both were delicious! Especially the schnitzel batter was crunchy and delicious ♡

Can't even begin to say how much I'll miss this place, we ate lunch here twice and were very satisfied. The staff are always smiling and cheerful, making small talk and helping out especially how to correctly eat the food. Food was so delicious, try Flammkuchen, best thing ever. The inside of the place was very cozy, did give off a Bavarian vibe, would recommend so much.

We had reserved in advance because we were only in Füssen for one evening. Fortunately. Otherwise we wouldn't have gotten a table. Eat very well! Hospitality typically Bavarian, extremely cheerful and friendly. Great service. Price absolutely fair. Good location. Ate outside. Lots of local guests. Would come back at any time.

While looking for a restaurant with regional cuisine, we spontaneously came across Ditsch. The restaurant is very cozy and rather small. At the time there was only one table occupied inside, but there was a lot more going on outside the house. When the first raindrops fell, the situation quickly changed and the room quickly filled. The welcome from the hostess was extremely warm and immediately gave us the feeling that this could be a very nice evening. There were some Allgäu classics on the menu. We decided on the Allgäuer Kässpatzen with salad and Bavarian meat patties with potato salad. Our food was served quickly and turned out to be excellent. The Kässpatzen were creamy and excellently seasoned, the salad was fresh and crunchy. The meatballs were juicy and the tasty potato salad went well with them. The lovingly garnished dishes reflect the attention to detail; enjoyment is very important here. It's a shame we skipped the starter...

We are here again after two years and were hoping for delicious food. 🤤 But it wasn't like that. Unfortunately. 😪

Because of the many good reviews, we decided to eat here at short notice. Unfortunately, the experience was rather disappointing. First of all: Service was very nice and attentive. At first glance, potato wedges looked like the ones I put in the oven at home and that's exactly how they tasted, which isn't bad, but I expect a little more in a restaurant. The same applies to the schnitzel. The tarte flambée was much better, but there was no creme fraich or cheese, so it was relatively dry.

Average food, great host/server, clean restaurant, reasonably priced. Located within a pedestrian only zone. The food was served hot and with good presentation. The taste and quality were average. We arrived without a reservation. The host/server was kind enough to find us a seat. She was very professional, sweet, and made some good suggestions. When it got busy, she ran around but kept a pleasant smile to everyone. She even took the time to check on us. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. --Tourist from the U.S.A.

Nicely located restaurant. The food (Obazda, Leberkäs, schnitzel, meat patties, Maultaschen, apple strudel) tasted great and was absolutely reasonable in terms of price. Service was very nice and quick, even though it was already busy. A recommendation for your stay in Füssen. Two small critical points, but they don't lead to a downgrade: unfortunately Kaiserschmarrn is no longer offered, and smoking is allowed at some tables outside, which is a bit annoying when sitting together at "non-smoking tables".
