Gasthof Rachor in Dieburg

It's okay for ordering, I think. The pizzas are great. Unfortunately, I wasn't that satisfied with my meal. I didn't like the chicken. The ambiance is okay; we were only accompanied by a few flies, who also happily disappeared into our drinks. The prices were fair.

The taste was awful, and I got food poisoning from it!

There were six of us eating at the Römerhalle. I had three courses. The salad was okay, but nothing special. The roast goose leg for €28 was unfortunately inedible: incredibly dry, full of fat, and the meat still wouldn't come off the bone. I had to send back five-sixths of it. As an apology, I was offered a shot of schnapps, which I declined as I had to drive. I would have expected a bit more of a gesture of goodwill, considering I couldn't eat the goose at all. My husband's roulade was also very dry. The dessert, however, was delicious.

September 5, 2025: We had reserved a table two days in advance. When we arrived, there was just a sign on the door saying they would be closed starting September 5. However, the website said: September 15-October 6. We felt like we'd been completely taken for a ride.
