Gasthof Rachor in Dieburg

What a nice surprise on Valentine's Day: When my husband reserved the table, he didn't know that special days at Bella Vita are also special! The tables were all lovingly set with scattered hearts, candles and roses. As soon as we were seated, each of us received a glass of champagne, which of course we could have refused, but we gladly accepted it. On the table was the menu with a starter, two main courses to choose from and dessert. The food was great and the prices were fair. I would happily recommend this and we will definitely come back.

Very good, delicious food and super lovely and friendly staff. The ambience could be a little more inviting, but the best was made of the small shop. When I last picked it up, it was quite dirty, but it was also at a later hour. Addendum: unfortunately some dishes became inedible. I ate schnitzel Hawaii and it was drowned in sauce and the meat was tough like rubber. Pasta Bolognese very bland and the sauce like water. There's a better way, please don't let up.

It was my first and last time in this restaurant! There were 4 of us and we received the food at a different time; sometimes the plate was “slammed” onto the table. At every fast food restaurant, at least I've been to, the service was much more upscale! The food lacked flavor and was not very seasoned.

We and our club visited one of the few restaurants in Dieburg that still offer down-to-earth cuisine. You can easily spend wonderful hours in this cozy atmosphere. And when I eat, I always end up with the hard salmon, which is something I've never had in any other place. It's pure enjoyment!!! The Stramme Hesse is also a creation that is second to none and can only be recommended. And the service is super attentive. One can only hope that such rare places of enjoyment will be preserved for a very long time!!!
