Great food at a truly fair price. The Balkan specialties are highly recommended. Caro and her team do everything to ensure you have a good time. Top-notch! Takeaway is also highly recommended. We frequently use their services and are happy to have this restaurant nearby. Excellent!

We were invited to a birthday party with about 20 other people, and everything from the appetizer to the dessert was absolutely delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly. All in all, 5 stars. We'd love to come back!

We had a large celebration at the Marktschänke yesterday. The buffet was fantastic! There were delicious beef roulades, pork fillet with mushroom sauce, Mediterranean vegetables, and more. The chef and his team more than met our expectations! Many of our guests really enjoyed the warm atmosphere in the hall! It was fantastic that we were able to use the outdoor area right next to the newly remodeled village market square!

After the change of ownership, the food was much worse. I had cevapcici, and they were so-so. They tasted of nothing and were rubbery. They looked like a convenience store item. Not homemade or fresh.

The weather was beautiful and we were able to sit outside... We received a friendly welcome. Drinks and food were served quickly. The dishes were generous and beautifully presented. The value for money is excellent. We would gladly come back.

Seven of us were there for lunch today. We had a reservation and got a nice table. There was enough space for everyone to eat properly. The soup was delicious on the house. Each of us had something different; every dish not only looked good, but was also delicious. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photos because I forgot my phone. Thumbs up 👍

We sat outside on Sunday evening and felt very comfortable. The food was delicious, the portions were large, and it was attractively presented. The salad bar offered a good variety – all the salads were fresh. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Overall, the value for money was excellent. We'd love to come back.

A very nice, cozy, family-run, and clean restaurant. The food is really delicious, with special side dishes, the meat is of excellent quality, and dessert is a must. Always worth a visit, enjoy your meal, we're there quite often. 🥰

I was very pleased with my visit! The salad bar was clean and the selection was very good, as you can see in the picture. The freezer didn't make any annoying noise, which other reviews complained about. The food was excellent. I had a steak with sides (the picture only shows the steak, but it was truly delicious!). To finish, I had a homemade cappuccino cake made by the owner, which tasted absolutely wonderful. The service was also excellent, friendly, and attentive. The location right on the market square is ideal, especially because it's nice and quiet there. I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, the drivers are not qualified enough to deliver food. The shop owner is disrespectful and unfriendly when you call.

We visited the restaurant in Wesel Büderich under new management. The restaurant itself is very nice and pleasantly decorated, which made a positive first impression. Unfortunately, there was one serious drawback: a refrigerated counter for the salad buffet was installed in the dining room, which constantly hummed and significantly disrupted the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. But the biggest drawback was the food. Unfortunately, the culinary experience was anything but convincing. The soup was obviously from a can or packet and tasted very watery, with no trace of fresh tomatoes. The main course, pleskavica, also gave the impression of having come from the freezer – it wasn't freshly prepared and tasted accordingly bad. The meat had the typical compressed texture of frozen mince, and it was just shepherd's cheese instead of the usual sheep's cheese. Overall, the restaurant seems uninspired under new management; the owner greeted us coldly. The friendliness of the previous owner is completely lacking. When taking over a restaurant, much more emphasis should be placed on quality and fresh ingredients. Given its current status, I doubt this place can survive long-term. We paid €70, and every fast food restaurant delivers better quality for less than half the price. Therefore, my review is unfortunately negative.

Unfortunately we didn't like it. Nice service and ambience, but also a new tenant. According to the website, a “flavor explosion” is announced. Unfortunately there wasn't even enough for a snap pea... Unfortunately, the meat was very tough and had a lot of fat, the rice was "okay" and there was also a not very inviting salad buffet with character from a can. Too bad.

The dishes were very tasty, but also cooled down quite quickly. The salad buffet, from which you can only help yourself once, is more than meager and if the iceberg lettuce is already brownish in color at the edges, you are no longer particularly interested in choosing it. There was no pepper or tomato. The cucumbers were fried or something like that. Everything else was not fresh but pickled goods. Staff was friendly and quick.

Unfortunately not as good as the previous owner.

Very nice welcome. Glasses never remained empty for long. The food was super delicious, whether soups, salads, steaks, schnitzels or currywurst. A visit is definitely worth it. Price-wise also great. 😊 This definitely won't be the last visit.

Wow what a great restaurant! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. And the two ladies (a blonde and a dark-haired one) working at the service were friendly and did their job more than well! Very good food in a super pleasant and cozy atmosphere. We can particularly recommend all the steaks, which are always served to perfection and where the price/performance ratio is right. You are always welcomed very warmly and personally. The service is very attentive, friendly and professional. We are proud and happy to have such a good restaurant in the beautiful polder village of Büderich. Highly recommended.

Nice people. In 2019 at a funeral with other owners the rooms were once larger. Unsuitable for funerals max 50 people. Just a bistro.

The service was super friendly, quick and helpful. The fries and salad were very tasty, unfortunately the meat was very dry. The portions are large, I would have preferred smaller ones with more quality. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is more like a canteen and not at all cozy.

Een avond eten. Wel echt voor wild eten gegaan. Er was 1 compleet gerecht wild, reerug en wildragout. Verder een wildburger. Voor de liefhebbers minder keuze maarrrrrrr. Het wildgerecht met reerug en wildragout was heerlijk. Er werden bratkartoffeln en salade geserveerd. Teveel om op te eten. Waardoor de ragout meeging in een "doggybag". De sfeer was rustig maar zo lief en gezellig personeel. Geweldig. Wij hebben genoten!!

Ich war in der Marktschänke schon mehrmals zu Gast. Das Essen war immer super, die Portionen groß und gesamte Team immer freundlich und aufmerksam.

War im großen und ganzen in Ordnung. Nur hat der Koch wahrscheinlich Salz mit Zucker verwechselt da die Pilzsauce süßlich schmeckte. Naja kann passieren. Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam.

Wir haben heute zum 1. Mal dort Essen bestellt. Es gab für uns zwei Grillteller mit Bratkartoffeln, Reis und Salat sowie zwei Saucen. Wir sind absolut begeistert. Das Fleisch ist sehr zart und super lecker ( Steak, Wild und Hähnchen). Die Portionen sind riesig. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Macht weiter so! Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen dort und es war schnell klar das wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Der freundliche Empfang und das Ambiente gefiel uns sehr gut und es ist nichts mehr von der altbackenen Einrichtung vom Vorgänger zu sehen. Das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken ist gut ausgewählt, qualitativ und schmeckte bestens. Auch ich möchte den Beilagensalat noch extra erwähnen. Salat der im Dressing schwimmt, geht für mich gar nicht! Aber diese ausgewählten Salatvariationen waren wirklich toll! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
