What an amazing place!! Very good food, staff is kind, entourage and location is great! Had a great stop for our trip home. We called 15 minutes before we arrived and we were lucky to have a place for a quick bite.

I was there about two years ago and liked the menu back then better. The salad dressing was tasty, but the salad combination was boring. I also found the prices too high for the quality.

This was our third time there for dinner with 12 people! We had reserved a table at 6 p.m....the food order was taken at 7:20 p.m.! It took a bit of time! The food came very quickly, but not all of it was piping hot! Prices for food and drinks were within normal limits. They should consider including a salad in the price of the food! The service was super friendly! We had a great time sitting in the conservatory. We'll be back for our next get-together! 😊

It said "grilled schnitzel," and I thought... I've never had it before, I'll give it a try. There's no way it was grilled. It was soft, unfortunately not my taste. The Greek appetizer was delicious.

Hospitality in the truest sense. Our visit to the Gasthof Margaretenhöhe was a delight. The team, led by Markus and Kiri, turned a trip to Rösrath into an evening we'll gladly repeat soon. Delicious tapas, fine schnitzel, delicious beer, and a rustic atmosphere spoiled us.

The food was very good, as were the staff and service. Unfortunately, the portions were too small. Our children were still hungry afterward.

The staff didn't seem rushed and were well-staffed (unfortunately rare these days)....... Now the ambiance...... light brewery style... but bright and not cramped. The beer garden and winter garden seating weren't too close together and simply beautifully designed....... The food was excellent, the plates weren't overloaded, and the quality was very good.....we discovered this place by chance..... reserved a table right away.....and we were delighted..... Thanks to the team for the friendly and perfect service..... Thanks to the kitchen for the excellent food.....

Very friendly service despite a staffing shortage, and we arrived without a reservation. The food and dessert were delicious, and we were able to change the sauce for the meat without any problems. I'd be happy to go again.

German cuisine with Mediterranean influences give the dishes a great mix of flavors. Different dishes are each with a unique sauce, giving the menu plenty of variation to choose from. The wonderful service matches the good quality of the food.

Excellent food and excellent service. We went in as a party of 7 on a Saturday night and was able to get a table outside. The beer garden area is enclosed for the winter with heat lamps so it was very comfortable and a beautiful atmosphere. Very friendly staff too!

Delicious brewery cuisine. The service was top during our visit!! The food was super tasty. We had main and dessert. I would describe the atmosphere as a small, fine brewery. Kölsch was just the right temperature. The prices are completely reasonable for today's times. It is recommended to reserve in advance. We went there without a reservation and luckily got a table. We'll definitely come back more often now.

Thank you for the lovely evening in your restaurant. The very friendly welcome and the attentive service created a feel-good atmosphere in which I really enjoyed eating my dinner. The outside area was very nice and I was happy to get another spot. This is often a sign of quality when a restaurant is busy with guests on a weekday.

We were there on July 28, 2024, late afternoon and ate here. With luck you can also get a place without a reservation. If you want to be on the safe side and eat with more than two people, you should make a reservation. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Food is served promptly and, above all, is delicious. The prices are also completely reasonable. We will come back. Conclusion:...definitely recommended. 😉👍🏻👍🏻

Perfect inn Super delicious food and always funny and nice waiters

We ate there 3 times and each time we enjoyed it. The service is very accommodating and very friendly without being intrusive and I think if something was wrong it would be easily remedied. The only thing we were missing was a small salad on the side (included in the price), but still not a point of criticism! So, keep it up and maybe see you next year...

We had a delicious meal on a very nice terrace with a view of the (overgrown) greenery. Rainproof because the windows can be closed and the roof can be closed. Service was good, maybe not perfectly coordinated, someone often asked if we needed anything else, but it's better to have too much than to be left high and dry! :) It wasn't the last time I was there! 🥰 Inside looked cozy too, but with the weather... we didn't test it.

I was taken to this restaurant on a recommendation and now eat here regularly. Without exception, the dishes impress with their good taste and visual presentation. Thanks to the constantly changing weekly menu, you'll never get bored! If you don't feel like the weekly menu, the permanently available dishes are also convincing. I was extremely positively surprised by the Greek week! I wouldn't have thought that a German inn could prepare such good Greek dishes. That's close to my original Greek!! The quite generous selection of weekly and standard dishes means that everyone can find something. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. Please expect some waiting time during peak times. Reservations are particularly recommended for groups!

Spontaneously stopped by for the first time and got a table on the very cozy terrace. Among other things, Greek dishes - A little too many different dishes on the menu for me. Ordered saganaki, tzatziki, lamb chops and stuffed peppers. Everything was delicious, unfortunately the saganaki wasn't breaded (it should at least be served with flour) and the lamb chops could have used a little less fat. But all in all solid and we could imagine a second visit.

Unfortunately you don't feel welcome here, we experienced that once a year ago, when we had a poorly prepared meal, but we still wanted to give it another chance. Listless staff who wanted to park us at a parking table without a welcome greeting. Oh, we better left then. A pity. The location is quite nice, actually. But service is and should be an important aspect.

Just really great here. We just wanted to eat something quick after a day in Phantasialand with two small children. What can I say? The food was fantastically tasty for young and old, the service was extremely friendly and quick. Rustic furnishings, but everything is very comfortable and clean, including the toilets. Class! It doesn't get any better. Also very child friendly. The only thing that isn't ideal is the parking, but I'll leave that out of the equation here. We would be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend, especially to families with children. We felt welcome and seen.

We have been there several times now and have been very satisfied each time. The food is very tasty, high quality and the portions are quite reasonable so that everyone was full. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is right. There is something for every taste on the menu and I also like the changing weekly/seasonal cards where special features can be discovered. Since everything is freshly prepared, even small changes in case of allergies/intolerances were not a problem. The service is friendly, courteous and happy to help with any questions. The location itself is very beautiful, well-kept and cozy, and there are different areas, such as a kind of sheltered winter garden and an outdoor area on the terrace for warm days. The seating inside is distributed so that it doesn't get too noisy in the restaurant even on busy days, which is very pleasant. I have a tiny suggestion for improvement regarding the toilets, because they were uncomfortably cold on the last two visits (outside temperature was around 6 degrees). Maybe the heating could be turned on again on such days. But this should only be understood as a small comment and not as a particular criticism. We can warmly recommend the inn. We will be happy to come back and are already looking forward to the next feast at Margaretenhöh! 😀

Very cozy restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food.

This is an autobahn stop. It was spacious with plenty of seating. Not crowded. The service was quick enough but not the friendliest. Chocolate muffin was so good and the coffee was average for Germany. Don't expect to find flavored creamer anywhere in Germany. They only use milk, or 1.5%, 3%, or 4.5% half and half type creamer, but at most cafes, they only have milk. Their sugar packets are small and not very sweet. If you like your coffee sweetened, expect to use almost twice as many packs or pour of sugar from a jar.

Today we were invited to a 60th birthday party for a morning pint from 11 a.m. (until 6:30 p.m....speaks for itself 😅🙈)! Everything was beautifully prepared and the food was sooo delicious! It was always topped up and beautifully arranged again. The service was very nice and attentive, we lacked NOTHING! SPECIALLY worth mentioning is...the ab At 5 p.m. a large communion party was also served and fed and normal operations in the beer garden and the restaurant continued smoothly without any of the guests being left out! Kiri & Markus and their whole team are real "magicians", it's unbelievable how they always manage it in a nice, warm and natural way!? Suitable parking spaces should be offered on your own property. The staff's cars are parked in front of the house and you can see whether you can take a parking space away from the residents or not. This is a matter of luck, as parking space is generally tight in this area from the afternoon onwards.

Silvester 2023 war es ein hervorragendes Menue

Hier wird man sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen, Service sehr gut freundlich und aufmerksam und nicht aufdringlich wie in anderen Lokalen. Das Essen ist hochwertig und sehr schmackhaft.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtstag erstmalig dort. Das Ambiente hat im positiven Sinne gemütlichen Brauhauscharakter. Da fühlt man sich gleich wohl. Auch das Personal war sehr herzlich und überaus freundlich. Es gab eine spezielle Weihnachtskarte, die von uns ausgewählten Gerichte waren sehr lecker. Beilagen konnten leider nicht gewechselt werden, war aber wohl dem weihnachtlichen Ansturm geschuldet. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Typischer Brauhausefekt würde ich sagen. Ein lautes aber nettes Durcheinander mit netter Bedienung.

Sowohl der Service als auch das Essen sind hervorragend! Gemütliches Ambiente sowohl im Sommer als auch im Winter! Auch für Veggis etwas dabei 😍🫶🏼

War Samstag Abend mit ein paar Familienmitgliedern dort essen. Auch wenn mein Essen etwas später als das der anderen kam, war alles in Ordnung und das Essen war sehr gut und für die Verspätung wurde sich mehr als angemessen entschuldigt. Jederzeit wieder.

Egal wann wir dort sind...tolles Team und gute Stimmung und ... lecker Essen.... wir sind gerne bald wieder da...

Das Jägerschnitzel war sehr lecker und reichlich (2 Stück). Habe vergessen zu fragen ob es auch Seniorenteller gibt - bei den Schnitzeln ja.

Leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen in gemütlichem Ambiente.

Wenn man die Schnitzel auf dem Pommes Frittes serviert und dann z.B. Jägersoße darauf gibt weichen die Fritten auf. Außerdem waren in meinem Fall 4 Stückchen Pilze 🍄 in der soße. Geschmacklich ok.😊
