We were there today at 7:45 p.m. and wanted a warm meal. After the waitress walked past us several times, she only managed to respond to us on the fourth attempt. We found it rude and didn't understand why we were turned away, as the kitchen was still open and there were still seats available. A reason for the refusal would have been more understanding. So I can't comment on the food.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and authentic staff. The beer is really good, as is the food. You can choose your portion size. I'll be happy to come back.

A lovely restaurant in the heart of Hersbruck. We had cordon bleu, roast beef with onions, and liver. All three dishes tasted perfect and were beautifully presented. The service was very friendly.

Ate hunter's schnitzel with spätzle, and the rest of the group ate other meat dishes. Everyone was very happy with the food. Tasted fantastically good, well-cooked and even the small portions are generous (you can choose between small and normal portions). Nice and service-minded staff and a cozy German small-town atmosphere.

The food tastes great and even though I have some food intolerances, I tolerated everything well. I had wonderful carp fillet with potato and side salad. While I now often order salad without dressing elsewhere and fat (from frying etc.) is increasingly causing me problems, I was completely full after the large portion but didn't get a stomach ache the next day. Another big plus is that you can order small portions, which from what I've seen are more than adequately sized. The service is very attentive, but calm and not intrusive. There is a slight deduction in points for the ambience because of the artificial room scent, but I'm also very sensitive in that regard, others might not even notice it. Overall, highly recommended!

Today I went to the brewery with my husband for the first time. We both had the Schäuferle with dumpling. The meat was nice and tender and very tasty, and the dumplings were also excellent. The salad was nicely prepared and the dressing was pleasantly tasty. I also had a glass of Silvaner and my husband had a Hersbrucker Keller. Both tasty! Gladly again ☺️

The inn is highly recommended. A spontaneous visit without a reservation worked great, Jäger schnitzel with cheese spaetzle was super tasty..

A very nice inn on the Lower Market in Hersbruck. You sit nicely and the dining room is cozy and rustic. The prices are perfectly fine. The waitress was very friendly and took great care of our well-being. The orders came without long waiting times and my special requests regarding the supplement were also fulfilled. I can highly recommend the brewery and am already looking forward to my next visit.

Everything was great, everything was very tasty, the staff was very friendly and you immediately felt like a regular guest for years on your first visit, Thank you very much and see you soon.

Despite the small portion ordered, a plate arrived that was more than generously filled with delicious food. We had three different dishes, all of which were a culinary delight! The service staff was very friendly and took loving care of their guests. The boss is very human, helpful and often comes out of his kitchen to look after his guests and is always up for a joke. The food and the side salad came very quickly and were really tasty. We can recommend the house beer. We'll be back. Edit: even a year later, after the brewery tour with a group of men, everything was wonderful. The portions of the food are unique and extremely good. What can you say? Super nice hosts, great food freshly made (you heard that the meat for the cordon bleu) was freshly beaten. 1a service... We were here on our 5 rivers bike tour…. If we had a restaurant at home, I would be a regular there... All the best for the future and get through the next construction projects well

A kitchen that knows what it's doing! We had the brewery plate (beef, pork and turkey) with grilled vegetables, potato wedges with herb dip and chili mayonnaise and herb butter and another dish was a cordon bleu with fries. Everything was of the best quality and perfectly coordinated. Super delicious! The portions were very generous and worth every penny. The “Hersrucker Dampfsud” is recommended for lovers of dark beers. Unfortunately we were just passing through, otherwise we would have liked to enjoy more food.

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant for the first time. Located in the middle of the beautiful city center, the restaurant with 8 tables inside and around 5 outside also offers space for us spontaneous guests. The Gastraun appears to us to be stylishly furnished and very well maintained. The service was Franconian friendly, as we know it here. The meal took a while because we were here for just 5 people and the kitchen had to start first. But the wait was worth it. Even in the small portion, the schnitzel was big enough to fill our daughter. According to her, my wife's sauerbraten was very good. I had the brewery plate which came to the table with two plates. This was also very tasty. We will be back!

We decided at short notice to get Schäufele for dinner on Sunday. As agreed, the food was ready for collection, including good and friendly service. The Schäufele were great! Crispy crust, tender, juicy meat that was easy to remove from the bone, tasty sauce, delicious dumplings and a huge portion of well-dressed salad. This is how you imagine Schäufele! Gladly again 👍🏼

The ambience didn't particularly appeal to me, but that's subjective. But the food was very tasty (I had liver) and the service was extremely nice.

Supper Brauhaus mit Schlachtschüssel jeden Donnerstag. Das Hersbrucker Bier schmeckt mir hier am allerbesten. Temperatur und Glasspülung sind optimal. Das Wirteteam ist maximal engagiert.

Das Gasthaus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Eine spontaner Besuch ohne Reservierung hat super funktioniert!

Super Gasthaus. Waren dort mit der Familie beim Essen. Essen war ausgezeichnet und große Portionen. Lob an den Chef der selbst kocht. Chefin sehr nett und Serviceorientiert. Der Fischergeist ist empfehlenswert.

Gute Auswahl an Gerichten, auch für Vegetarier etwas dabei. Portionen eigentlich gut. Hatte Hirserisotto das gut geschmeckt hat aber von der Menge her sehr übersichtlich war. Kleiner Minuspunkt, es könnte etwas wärmer in der Gaststube sein. Natürlich ist es schwierig wenn dauernd Gäste kommen und gehen aber vielleicht könnte ein Vorhang helfen.

Schlicht und gemütlich, ehrliches Essen und tolles Bier zu sehr fairen Preisen und alles auch als kleine Portion! Küche und Service von Feinsten, die gut gelaunte und persönliche Ansprache gibt einem auch bei einem nur einmaligen Besuch sofort das Gefühl dazu zu gehören. Das Motto der Wirtsleute: "Essen und Trinken bei Freunden" wird hier tatsächlich gelebt. Wäre es aus Berlin nicht verdammt weit, wir wären definitiv regelmäßig hier! Sollte es und wieder einmal in die Gegend von Hersbruck verschlagen weiß ich, wo wir definitiv einkehren werden.

Die Gaststätte ist modern und hell eingerichtet, es gibt ein Nebenzimmer für kleine private Feiern. Die Wirtsleute und Bedingungen sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist hervorragend und reichlich, die Biere trinkerlich, natürlich einheimische. Die Preise sind in Ordnung. Mann kann auch außen sitzen. Alles im allem ein sehr gutes Wirtshaus. Ist einen und wie ich finde sogar mehrere Besuche wert. Daumen hoch.

Haben heute dort sehr gut im Aussenbereich gegessen. Essensauswahl sehr ansprechend, mein vegetarisches Hirserisotto mit mediterranem Gemüse war lecker und reichlich. Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, dass fast jedes Gericht in normal und klein auf der Speisekarte steht. Bedienung war nett, schnell und zuvorkommend. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren schon ein paar mal dort und wir gehen gerne wieder. Die Portionen sind super und geschmacklich einfach nur MEGA. Die Auswahl an Lokalen Deutschen essen sind sehr gut gewählt in einer übersichtlichen Speisekarte. Auch für Kinder und Familien sehr gut geeignet. Bei schönem Wetter, kann man auch draußen vor dem Lokal gemütlich Essen. Wir kommen wieder und dann gibt's auch Bilder zu den guten Essen. Personal super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Dankeschön

Waren hier heute zum ersten Mal. Das Essen war sehr gut und wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Man sollte auf jeden Fall immer reservieren, da das Brauhaus sehr gut besucht ist.

Klare Empfehlung von uns. Trotz viel Betrieb an einem Mittwoch Abend hat sich die Bedienung und der Koch ( Betreiber? ) nicht aus der Ruhe bringen lassen. Mega flotte Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen ( Jägerschitzel u. Matjeshering) Portionen zum Satt werden. Gerne wieder 👍🏻

Essen ist top genauso wie Service und Ambiente. Einziger Punktabzug wäre für mich dass die Limonaden die nach Alka Seltzer oder Natron schmecken. Aber trinkt man halt was anderes demnächst...

Neue Pächter seit dem 01.02.2022 Andrea und Jan haben sich sehr ins Zeug gelegt sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet . Die Bedienungen ( ich denke es war Andrea) war schnell und aufmerksam. Das Essen war echt lecker . Als Vorspeise hatten wir die meerrettichsuppe mal was anderes sehr lecker zum Hauptessen gab es Zwiebelrostbraten die einen und 3 Saure Zipfel für die anderen . Wirklich Geschmacklich alles sehr lecker . Und der der Preis war auch gut und angemessen alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend immer gerne wieder LG Alex

Das Brauhaus liegt in einer schönen Straße, kaum Verkehr. Essen war gut, Preise human.

Sehr gute und vielfältige Speisenauswahl. Wir hatten Schäuferle und Jägerbraten, beides war sehr lecker, und die Portionen sehr groß, auch die Beilagensalate waren sehr gut. Die Speisen und Getränkepreise sind absolut in Ordnung. Der Service ist super freundlich, und hier wird noch darauf geachtet, das die Speisen gleichzeitig auf den Tisch kommen, find ich super. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist Top. Was ich noch sehr gut finde, auf der Damentoilette ist auch ein Wickeltisch vorhanden. Wir kommen wieder. Wir können das Brauhaus guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Mitten im Ort mit kleinem Biergarten vor dem Lokal. Kleine aber ausreichende Speisekarte. Wir hatten das Jägerschnitzel mit Spätzle und Fisch. Und eine Portion Kartoffsalat. Beides super lecker und alles frisch. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen wieder.
