Piccolino in Hersbruck

This is a completely new restaurant compared to others. It serves lots of traditional food, has excellent service, and the atmosphere is simply amazing! It's definitely worth stopping by at least once!

The restaurant was very busy, and the service was friendly. The food was excellent. We had taramas and garlic bread for starters. Both were excellent; the garlic bread is highly recommended. For main courses, we had gyros with biftek and souvlaki with calamari. Everything was truly delicious. The portions, however, could have been a bit larger.

Not a Greek restaurant for me. Gyros and souvlaki weren't good. The meat quality was poor. There was far too little selection. The pizza took some getting used to, and at €16, it was too expensive. Maybe for tourists. Once, and then never again.

I was there recently with my husband. Our friends had talked about it, and we'd only heard bad things, which I couldn't believe, so I wanted to try it. We ordered several appetizers as one main course. The zucchini and eggplant were completely carelessly prepared – overly thickly breaded, mushy, and watery, with no flavor of their own. The octopus was also disappointing: tough, bland, and apparently served without any real seasoning or grilled flavor. Overall, much of the food on the plate seemed more like it had come from the freezer than freshly prepared. I had expected much more – both in terms of taste and quality. What a shame! Overall, I unfortunately can't recommend this visit. The friendly service deserves recognition, but the food was a complete disappointment in terms of both quality and price. It's a shame – with better cuisine, this restaurant would have real potential.

Nice place, but not good food. Far too expensive for the small portions. And not particularly tasty. The salad was placed on top of the warm meat. All in all, it wasn't good.

Unfortunately, our visit was a complete disaster. Neither the food nor the service were convincing. The fries were unsalted and soggy. The pita was rock hard, so you couldn't bite into it. Only 2 calamari on the gyro calamari plate. The wrong drink was served twice, despite showing it on the menu. The garlic bread was much too hard. No card payments. Stomach ache in the evening. It's a shame, because the location is really nice.

Everything was great, the only criticism was the three slightly missing calamari. The calamari on the gyro seemed more like decoration. They would have liked a few more, because they were good, and they would have been happy to serve 30% fewer gyros. Otherwise, a good Greek restaurant with very attentive staff.😎

The restaurant appears to have recently changed ownership (a real shame), which is reflected in the new menu and revised prices. The food was okay, but not impressive: the children's portion (fries with nuggets) was very small for €8.50, my moussaka was unfortunately barely seasoned, and the calamari with mayonnaise doesn't really fit with Greek cuisine. On the plus side, the friendly staff. The service was really pleasant. However, guests should definitely be informed beforehand that card payments are not accepted – that was annoying. An ouzo to finish the experience would have rounded off the experience a bit, but unfortunately, it wasn't offered. Overall, it was an average visit, but there are much better Greek restaurants in the area.

Four of us were there last night and were absolutely thrilled. The restaurant impresses with its harmonious ambiance and well-thought-out menu. The new owners are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating—that's what Greek hospitality is all about! The food is fresh, tasty, and authentic. The portions were very generous. You can tell that the cooking here is done with love and experience. Even the children's small special requests were fulfilled with a smile. As a farewell, we were given dessert (baklava, delicious) and a free ouzo; as a native Greek, I was very happy about that 😋 A truly great restaurant that impresses with its excellent, authentic Greek cuisine. A nice little restaurant with a very modern interior. Even though we were out really late, the food was delicious and the service was super friendly.

Very good food, quiet, not expensive and friendly

Unfortunately, the food was a complete disaster. They even messed up the fries (I didn't know that was possible until then). The ambiance was nothing special, and it didn't reflect the heart of the restaurant at all. The service was mostly friendly, but you could tell they weren't trained service personnel, but rather a "I-have-to-save-this-place" kind of service. I won't be back...

The restaurant is comfortable. It wasn't busy. The music was good. The waitress was very friendly and checked in every five minutes. She had a hard time understanding our requests and wasn't familiar with the drinks and food on her own menu. The food was mediocre, a bit disappointing for the price. The lamb was fatty, some of the appetizers were also fatty, tasted bland, and were poorly presented. The tzatziki was okay. Overall, I've had much better Greek food. It's a real shame.

Food was very good, dessert was free and was great, cozy place by the window. Ouzo was also a must. We felt very comfortable. Is absolutely recommended. We tried everything from vegetarian dishes to burgers and meat dishes. Everything was very good. Thank you.Highly recommended.

I haven't had such a good Greek meal in a long time. There were six of us, and everyone was extremely satisfied. My fish with rice croquettes was a great idea. White Tarama was excellent. Keep up the good work.

We ordered for 10 people. The food was fresh, juicy, and delivered hot. The delivery service was friendly, and everyone enjoyed it. The mixed appetizer platter was also amazing. We'd be happy to go back anytime and highly recommend it.

We ordered today. We've been there several times, and each time I'm convinced again and again that this is simply the best Greek restaurant in the area. The food was still hot when it was delivered, and the driver was super nice. The value for money is also excellent. You get generous portions, and you'll definitely be full! I would order again and come back for dinner.

Nice, modern restaurant. The service was good, although the restaurant was quite empty. Unfortunately the food was only mediocre, the souvlaki was frozen and the güros was just dripping with fat, I think that was also frozen and then put in the pan. The tzatziki was really tasty.

Even though the tenant changed two months ago and the restaurant is now called Hellenikon: Still very good, authentic Greek food, really nice service. If you like Retsina: take the 0.5 l bottle. The Kechribari in the pretty bulbous bottle is highly recommended and costs less than €10. Overall: very happy again 👍

My sincere recommendation is that if you find yourself in this city, you must visit the restaurant Picolino, which is a small family restaurant that serves excellent food. The flavors of Greece will quickly bring you back memories of the Mediterranean, and the very helpful staff will complete that atmosphere. It is located in an excellent place, in the very center of the city, with a wonderful view. The service is fast and professional.

We luckely found this restaurant. The food of this greek couple made us very happy. Food like greeks would serve greeks. Finally I found a place serving Suflaki as I love it since I travelled greek islands. And the Zaziki was like a garlicky kind of heaven. ευχαριστώ

Very good Greek in the heart of Hersbruck. The large salads are served in a bread dough and are very tasty. The prices are moderate. The innkeeper very nice. What bothered me a bit was that from around 9 a.m. onwards you noticed that they wanted to have a party for the evening. So it's not possible to sit comfortably for longer. In the summer it's nice to sit outside, maybe it's different there.

Nicht das beste Restaurant. Es gibt definitiv Potential nach oben. Meine Calamari waren nicht durch, mein Gyros dafür leider sehr. . . Die Souvlaki erinner sehr stark an Schaschlick, nicht zwingend negativ, man wurde auch darauf hingewiesen. Im Großen und Ganzen ist es ok, mit Verbesserungen könnte es gut werden.

Nach unserem Besuch in der Therme in Hersbruck hatten wir alle großen Hunger durch Zufall entdeckten wir das Lokal Piccolino. Essen war sehr sehr lecker alles frisch zubereitet keine Fertigprodukte. Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet auch die Stühle sehr bequem und auch der Service war sehr nett. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank

Wir waren hier am 2. Weihnachtstag zum Mittagessen. Wir hatten Sonderwünsche (Pizza ohne Käse; vegan) und wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient und haben dann 2 sehr leckere Pizzen gegessen. Auch preislich absolut im Rahmen. Wenn wir in der Gegend sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Diesmal “Snoopy” Burger. Wieder top! Werden immer wieder kommen.

Haben heute essen bestellt und es war einfach nur sehr lecker. Es war noch heiß und so lecker dass wir gar nicht aufhören wollten zu essen. Gerne immer wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Meiner Meinung nach ein super griechisches Restaurant. Pizza ist nicht so meins, aber Sie ist definitiv nicht schlecht (Geschmackssache), ABER das Bifteki mit Metaxasauce ist ein Traum. Mein Freund ich bestellen das immer wieder und werden wir auch weiterhin. 🥰

Tzatziiki wie man es gewohnt ist! Bifteki hervorragend, auch die gebackene Aubergine und Pepperoni einfach zu empfehlen
