Gasthof Berzl in Kelheim

Wir waren vor zwei Tagen spontan dort essen. Das Essen kam merkwürdigerweise sehr schnell obwohl viel los war. Sag mir dass die Sachen nicht frisch zubereitet wurden. Die Fischpflanzerl hatten leider keinen Geschmack. Statt Kartoffelsalat bat man um Pommes. Der Wechselwunsch kostete 1.50 Euro...fand ich für die kleine Menge Pommes sehr unangemessen und sollte eigentlich selbstverständlich sein. Ich hatte einen semmelknödel, Kasslerscheibe,zwei kleine Mini Bratwürste und eine Scheibe Schweinebraten mit Sauerkraut. Die Soße war so flüssig und mit Sauerkraut Saft vermischt. Das gesamte war Recht geschmacklos. Sehr sehr schade . Positiv aber zu erwähnen war die Nachfrage ob alles gut war und man Kritik äußern konnte. Bedienung war freundlich. Preis Leistung war soweit okay.

Oiweil pfundig. Besonders meine Fleischpflanzl, mit Sosserl und Kartoffelsalat.

Lecker und preislich absolut in Ordnung..

Ich bin zu tiefst enttäuscht, wie die Chefin mit ihren Kunden umgeht. Wir waren mit unseren Hund da und Sie meinte nur das wir uns mit dem Köter direkt vom Acker machen können. Geht gar nicht.

Das Essen war mega lecker. Wir kommen wieder.☺️

Sehr gute Küche und Preise völlig in Ordnung.

Wir waren in unserem kurzen Urlaub mehrere Male dort. Das Essen war wirklich unglaublich lecker und vom Preis her überraschend günstig :) Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und bedacht, dass es uns gut geht. Besonders die junge Dame, welche womöglich vor kurzem angefangen hat, macht ihre Arbeit großartig und mit einer Freundlichkeit, welche sehr wohltuend war. Der Gasthof ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Übernachtet habe ich nicht, deshalb kann ich dafür keine Bewertung abgeben. Aber Essen und Service ist Spitze. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Top Wirtshaus mit leckerem Essen und freundlichem Personal!!! Beeindruckend ist auch die live Musik wo immer wieder mal spielt! Ich kann den Gasthof Berzl nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Die Vorsuppe war noch nicht aufgegessen, da kam der Salat, der Salat war noch nicht aufgegessen, da kam das Hauptgericht. Alles leider viel zu hektisch. Die Cola Zero hat komisch geschmeckt, in der Saftschorle fast nur Wasser. Die Röstkartoffeln waren viel zu hell, mehlig und dadurch keine Bratkartoffeln 🤷‍♀️ Das Käseschnitzel alleine hat geschmeckt. Der Salat war super lecker.

Waren dort zum Abendessen. Unglaublich günstig und das Essen war wahnsinnig gut. Lecker, frisch, regional - einfach perfekt. Bedienung super nett und schnell. Wenn mal wieder in der Gegen, gerne wieder!

Wir waren soeben spontan dort und haben einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war großartig. Sehr sehr lecker und große Portionen. Die Speisekarte finde ich auch sehr toll gemacht. Man findet auf jeden Fall was.

Moin moin Moin moin, dass ist ein ganz toller Familien Betrieb. Daß Personal ist super hilfsbereit und das Essen ist super.

Das Gasthaus ist schön gelegen am Ende von der Straße. Das Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich. Es gibt unter der Woche nicht nur Standard Essen, sondern auch von der Jahreszeit entsprechend. Das Personal ist freundlich und nett.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and were previously satisfied. However, the quality and value for money have declined significantly. Today, we received truly poor-quality meat and completely inedible side dishes. Unfortunately, when we returned the food, the kitchen offered no apology, no discount, nothing. Furthermore, we were charged the full price even though the dish was uneaten! This is unacceptable! We will never return to this restaurant and find the owners' behavior outrageous and completely inappropriate.

We were only there for the meal. We had the roast pork and the sauerbraten (though we were missing the red cabbage on both), the fish cakes, a side salad, and drinks. Good German food, nothing groundbreaking. The price was okay at €46. The restrooms were clean. The staff was friendly.

The Gasthof Berzl is ideal if you want to enjoy Bavarian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. They offer excellent dishes at still moderate prices. The portions are just right, and the staff is attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back! I can't comment on the rooms, as we only dined in the restaurant.

We went there for dinner. 5 different dishes. Everything was very good and the value was excellent. Highly recommended. Both desserts were also excellent! The vanilla sauce is amazing. We'll be back! Very friendly service. Dogs are allowed.

Cozy beer garden, right by the Altmühltor gate. Hearty, delicious, home-style cooking. We had the sauerkraut plate and the spinach dumplings with creamed chanterelles. The service was super friendly and quick. I highly recommend it.

We went to the restaurant for lunch today with 60 people. One waitress managed to serve our group drinks and pre-ordered food within 70 minutes, and even paid for it. Respect! The food was very good and reasonably priced.

We were in Kelheim a month ago. After a poor meal at another restaurant in the old town, we went to Berzl for an after-work beer in the beer garden. After observing the plates brought to other guests and hearing the praise from a larger group, we decided to go there the following day. We didn't regret it and became regulars for our entire vacation. Great location, beautiful beer garden, quaint and lovingly decorated inside, and great service. The food was always excellent and the value for money unbeatable. If we ever find ourselves in the Altmühl Valley again, we know where we'll prefer to eat.

The service is attentive, but as soon as the "beer garden" gets busy, it becomes overwhelmed and uncoordinated. The food is cheap, but it's literally swimming in grease.
