Very large selection of food and drinks. The waitresses do a great job and the food comes very quickly, even when it's full. The food isn't star cuisine, but the portions are decent, it's tasty and the price is absolutely great. The selection of drinks is extensive and also fairly priced. We'd love to come back.

Each of my selections from the menu was very tasty and, what is no longer necessarily a given, absolutely sufficient. After a long, strenuous hike, I was full. HURRAY! That's what it means.

The Gasthof Adler is worth a visit! We had knuckle, schnitzel and crusted roast. Simply delicious! Despite the extremely high volume of visitors, the service was super fast, friendly and attentive and the food was on the table within a few minutes. If you're in the area, you MUST get something to eat there.

The food - a master chef who is second to none. First class, the finest sauce. Everything, really everything, we give grade 1 plus. The prices are cheap, the portions are very large, the staff is very friendly. Certainly the best host that the Gasthof Adler has ever had in its long tradition. We come back and enjoy eating. The best inn in the surrounding area. Thanks to the landlord and his staff.

Good value for money and large portion with lots of sauce. 👍The only downside is that the food when we were there was a bit salty. Probably to promote sales of drinks. There are free parking spaces available, but they are limited. There is a large, paid parking lot in the immediate vicinity

Whenever we go on holiday in Pfronten, the Gasthof Adler is our first address. The food is very tasty and served quickly. The staff is always friendly and has no problems fulfilling special requests. The plates are very well filled and if you can't manage it, you can have the rest packed up for home. The beer garden is very cozy in summer, but you should get there early in the evening as it is always very crowded and there are no table reservations Summer time is accepted. Conclusion: If you are ever in Pfronten, you should definitely stop by the Gasthof Adler. Clear recommendation 👍

Good value for money, you get what you pay for. Huge selection of dishes, the side dish is commensurate with the price. You shouldn't go into the restaurant with high expectations, the best thing was the Augustiner beer fresh from the barrel. As I said, the food tastes good and fills you up quite a bit and is justified by the good price. But nothing more...

Spontaneously stopped by the Gasthof Adler because of a bike breakdown and was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of portions, service very attentive. Since the portions were so excessively large, the second schnitzel and the second Leberkäs were packed for us to take away without us having to ask. The dark beer sauce was the standout in my opinion! Would definitely come here again.

We had a short stop at Gasthof Adler for dinner. Coincidence took us past the Adler and since it is right on the street and has a large parking lot, we took a spontaneous break. The service team was very friendly, the food was good and plentiful. Price-performance very good. If the opportunity arises, we would like to come back again. Of course, food is always a question of taste, it's always worth a try.

We stayed at the Gasthof Adler for 2 days in September 2024 while traveling through with our 2 dogs. The room was very nice and comfortably furnished. The bathroom new and clean. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff attentive and friendly. Then dinner. It was very tasty and way too much. Kaiserschmarrn, curd cheese strudel, schnitzel... everything was great. There is also enough choice for vegetarians. Breakfast was the next surprise. A board with “Good Morning Room 2” was on our table. A wooden board with sausage, box...was prepared. Plus jam, honey. A carafe of orange juice. You could also make your own coffee, cappuccino, espresso, etc. from the coffee machine. We have already booked again. This time for longer.

Food was very good, but the behavior of most of the staff was completely inappropriate, mocking and initially very annoyed and unfriendly - an absolute no-go! So despite the good food, we won't be going back there any time soon.

There were two of us, everything was fine. If you have a different opinion, you'll definitely have problems frying a fried egg yourself!!

We were there 2 nights. The service staff was more than just unfriendly. Just like the visual appearance is very questionable, that's how you walk around at home. The food was ok. In our opinion, the portions are more than just excessive. For a smaller portion, 1.00 euros less, I think it's cheeky.

Das Bier hat geschmeckt, leider war das "Essen unter aller Sau", die Bratkartoffeln teilweise verbrannt und haben alt geschmeckt, der Knödel war gross aber geschmacklos, bei beiden Gerichten hat die Sosse nur nach Salz und Geschmacksverstärker geschmeckt. Bei beiden Gerichten Wildschweinrollbraten und Krustenbraten die Kruste teilweise zäh nicht genießbar. Das Essen kam so schnell so dass die Bratkartoffeln nicht frisch zubereitet werden konnten und beide Gerichte in Fertigsosse ertränkt waren Es gibt einen Punkt aber nur wegen dem Bier, ansonsten nie wieder!

Great restaurant and always worth a visit when traveling in the Allgäu. We became aware of the Gasthof Adler by chance last year when we were on vacation in Füssen. Afterwards we drove here every evening for dinner. Simply fantastically delicious selection at an incomparable price-performance ratio. Getting your plate empty here is truly a miracle. The entire staff is on point and friendly, you get food and drinks to the table very quickly. The atmosphere in the inn and in the beer garden is simply great. We would come back to eat every time, even if we had to travel further - like this year.

We ate here twice during our short vacation in Pfronten. Friendly and attentive staff, good service. We sat on the terrace and even though the restaurant was full, everything went pretty quickly. Speaks for a good organization. We had different dishes on both evenings and were very satisfied with all four dishes. In my opinion, the menu has something for everyone. Definitely again on the next trip to Pfronten.

Sunday evening, very crowded, however got assigned a seat......ordered knuckle.....was delicious.....although a small portion of sour or red cabbage...would have made it perfect.....it was perfect ...in terms of price and taste......Bavarian cuisine...

The cozy atmosphere and charm of the restaurant create a wonderful environment in which to enjoy the excellent dishes. The menu is varied and offers something for every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the quality of the regional ingredients, which make every dish a culinary experience. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. Every wish is literally read from your lips without seeming intrusive. For me, Gasthof Adler is an absolute must when you're in the area - authentic, regional cuisine at the highest level. Clear 5 stars!

I have been on vacation in the Tannheimer Valley every year for 12 years and have been to the Gasthof Adler at least once every year and in these 12 years I have never been disappointed. The inn has maintained its quality in all areas; huge portions, very tasty, hearty and good food, fast, good and friendly service and a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. All in all, including the prices really very fair, satisfactory and good, you can't complain. I will continue to come here every holiday and can recommend the Gasthof Adler to everyone and recommend that you stop by here if you are in the area!

Dem Wetter entsprechend konnten wir ein schönes Plätzchen im Biergarten ergattern. Trotzdem der Gasthof gut besucht war, bekamen wir schnell das Essen. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und flott unterwegs. Wir hatten Schnitzel mit Pommes und Jägerschnitzel. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Fleisch gut gewürzt. Das einzige was wir bemängeln müssen, waren die Spätzle, die leider etwas zulange gekocht waren. Ansonsten war es wirklich sehr geschmackvoll und preislich wirklich sehr fair. Bei einem Weiteren Ausflug, werden wir dort sicherlich wieder einkehren und wir würden das Lokal auch guten Herzens weiterempfehlen! In den Sommermonaten gibt es keine Reservierung, also einfach hingehen!

The place has a great atmosphere thanks to the decorations, the lighting and the smells wafting from neighboring tables. The large, (mostly) classic Bavarian dishes were also very good and, above all, fairly priced. But the service and hospitality of the two brothers in the beer garden simply surpassed everything! They played a key role in ensuring that we had a 5/5 star evening there! I would be happy to come back at any time and can really recommend the inn to everyone who is on vacation in Pfronten :D

Beautiful, shady beer garden. Delicious deer goulash with spaetzle. Our dog was also welcome. The restaurant can definitely be recommended.

Good home-style food in huge portions, but you can always take the leftovers with you. Quality of the food was very good, tasty and well seasoned.

A meal came as ordered and was worth a 5. The other came out wrong once and wrong again. Well, how should you evaluate that? Otherwise a well-organized restaurant and an inviting beer garden. The price of beer is debatable, but business for restaurants is becoming increasingly difficult.
