Gasthausbrauerei Turmklause in Luckenwalde

We stayed overnight at the Turmklause and were very satisfied. At first, we were briefly confused because our GPS directed us to the restaurant. The staff there very kindly informed us that we simply had to walk through the back. We didn't arrive at the accommodation until around 6 p.m., so unfortunately, no one was there. There was a note on the door with a phone number, which we called. The lady then gave us the code for one of the key safes, which spit out our key. The room was simply furnished, very clean, and comfortable. The only thing I could criticize was the outside lighting, which also illuminated the room overnight. We spontaneously booked breakfast with the lady on the phone. It was well-stocked, including fresh fruit and vegetables. If we're ever in the area again, we'd be happy to come back.

There were nine of us there. The restaurant is very nice and the staff friendly. It was completely booked on a Friday (a holiday), but we had made a reservation. There were plenty of beers to choose from, and they were also very tasty. The food itself was only mediocre.

The food was truly delicious, and the atmosphere was cheerful and pleasant. The service was generally good—the slight slowness could probably be attributed to the high demand. What really shocked me, however, was that the manager was obviously very drunk. That's completely unprofessional and should never happen at work.

Okay. The menu is a bit confusing. Burgers are quite expensive.

We booked the holiday apartment with breakfast included. The apartment was tidy and very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We felt very comfortable. The breakfast was also good and plentiful; a special request from our child was immediately fulfilled – thanks to the breakfast fairy. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed.

The Turmklause inn and brewery in Luckenwalde has a truly lovely ambiance, and you can also sit outside in the summer months. They also have a very good menu. Even vegans and vegetarians get their money's worth. Only the male waiter was a bit sloppy that evening with my sweet potato fries. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We also spent one or two nights at the guesthouse. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, but the good breakfast made up for it. The service at the guesthouse is very friendly, understanding, and accommodating. The small town center of Luckenwalde is a 10-minute walk away.

Everything was fine, actually. However, I've been given two beers with thick lipstick on the glass. Once is excusable, but twice is completely unacceptable.

We were on vacation in Luckenwalde and visited the Turmklause – highly recommended! A super chic restaurant with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The regional beer from the in-house brewery was particularly delicious. The spicy spaghetti is a definite recommendation!

I've been there several times. Everything was to my satisfaction. Breakfast was delicious, and we always received a friendly welcome.

Unfortunately it wasn't a great visit. It had been very crowded. And everything took a very long time. The meal took 1:15 hours. Then there was hair in the food. We had called beforehand that we would only have 1 1/2 hours to eat and that probably wouldn't be a problem. Well, they were slightly overwhelmed. Food was okay.

The restaurant is super cute and beautifully designed. You feel really comfortable here, but we were also lucky that it was very empty, so you could really enjoy the ambience. The food also tasted great and it was cool that you could try their beers in a small staircase.

Went there for dinner as a couple and had a table for two in the winter garden. A pleasant, quiet atmosphere there. The staff was friendly and quick. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The chicken burger was delicious and the meat was on point, the fries were also very good. The herb schnitzel with salad and fries was also perfect. The high price was/is completely justified for this extraordinary quality. The only thing that was a bit surprising were these little sachets for ketchup and mayo. This snack bar has charm, maybe you can change it a bit. Conclusion: Tasty friendly please keep it up, we'll be back. Thanks.

Nicely designed rooms - beer from the home brewery - quite good food. There is a nice beer garden in the yard.

Absolutely recommended. The service was super friendly, courteous and quick. The food was delicious: I had the vegan grilled chicken with market vegetables and it was one of the best imitation meats I've ever tasted. The vegetables were fresh and grilled to perfection. My partner had the falafel plate - the falafel was very crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned on the inside. The draft beer was also a real highlight. If I end up back in Luckenwalde at some point, I will definitely come back.

My stay was great, apart from the great team that was always nice, helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is a dream as is the restaurant. I can only recommend it, big praise and thanks to the team 👏🏼

I can recommend it, the food was delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive. Ambience very pleasant, the only thing I find difficult is the toilet is on the first floor, not accessible for the disabled... but everything else: great!

Guesthouse, a little gem in Luckenwalde!

We went to the Turmklause restaurant for lunch today. The service was very friendly, and drinks were brought to our table promptly. We ordered veal schnitzel with sweet potato fries and mushroom sauce. The food was freshly prepared, and there was a short wait of about 20 minutes. We enjoyed it immensely, and the portions were enormous. We'd be happy to come back.

We went there for dinner on a Saturday. After ordering, we finally got the starter after asking (after a one-hour wait). A short time later, the main course arrived. The garlic soup and the schnitzel were okay, but nothing special. The fried potatoes felt like they had been in the pan for a minute and weren't particularly seasoned. Only the Kaiserschmarn (smothered pancakes) managed to turn things around. The prices were pretty steep for the food.

We booked a table three weeks ago, but there weren't any available. We couldn't cancel by phone. We won't be going there again.

Lage sehr gut, Ambiente sehr angenehm, Kellner sprach sehr leise und unverständlich. Zu den Speisen: die Vorspeise (Knoblauchsuppe) kam erst nach der Hauptspeise, auf Anforderung und hatte die Konsistenz von Pudding, Das Hauptgericht Spagetti mit Rindfleisch. Das Rindfleisch war zäh wie Leder und die Spagetti im Öl ertränkt. Die anderen Gerichte zeigten ein ähnliches Schicksal. Die Panade war dicker als das Kalbsschnitzel. Einzig die Pommes waren gut. Ambiente und Preis machen noch kein gutes Restaurant.

Lentil soup and pumpkin soup were hot but the taste was not convincing at all and it was expensive. The service was friendly.

If you don't show consideration for the residents next door soon, the police will be called for disturbing the peace in the future. Send your guests home without them standing outside for minutes and being loud and letting off a loud bang in the middle of the night. If this doesn't stop in the future, the police will come. That's not normal.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Very trying. We had our Christmas party there with around 25 people and we weren't the only ones there. The waiting times were actually less than expected. Food is very good, the selection of alcoholic drinks is a bit limited for me, but otherwise I was very satisfied.

Was nice, would have expected more beer food. This means that masses of tourists will only visit Bavaria if you don't offer a concept around beer as a brewery, strange. We ate mini pizza and bruschetta... Italy seems close. Otherwise everything is super new and renovated.

Ordered veal schnitzel for lunch today. I have never experienced such a hard, tough and difficult to cut mass in my entire life. It certainly wasn't calf. No calf gets that old to be that tough. The service was also very poor. Colleagues waited three quarters of an hour for drinks. One would have thought that the staff had been given this task on the first day and had never worked in a restaurant in their entire life. Everything was very clumsy and unpracticed. It's a shame about the time. Since the prices in the Turmklause are not exactly a bargain, you would like to be able to at least expect some quality. It was a more than disappointing “experience”!

I was thrilled! I was invited to dinner with my colleagues and was more than pleasantly surprised! A truly outstanding team has come together here and serves culinary delicacies and home-brewed beer. The ambience is unmistakable and flatters a nice evening in a fun atmosphere. I give it five stars 🔥

Very tasty food. There are even 5 vegan dishes🌱 and generally a fairly large selection. The service is also very nice. At the end we even got a nightcap on the house and dessert. We were also allowed to take some of these with us. And it's worth going there again just for the dessert. Simply delicious!

Luckenwalde finally has its Turmklause again, where there is very good food and beer. The service was top notch. The waitress was extremely friendly. We sat in the beer garden. Very nice atmosphere. I have a clear recommendation.

After a successful online reservation, five of us ate in the restaurant today. We're still rubbing our full bellies, it was simply delicious and super rich. The employees were extremely friendly and always on their toes, despite the high number of guests. Big compliments to the kitchen and the service, highly recommended - would be happy to come back!!!

Very good German cuisine, freshly prepared. Great ambience, unfortunately no dessert other than ice cream but a great Gratusbachtusch, which could also have been offered on the menu.

On October 4th, 2024 we were here for a leisurely meal. The location as such seemed very harmonious and well furnished. The lady was very accommodating and quickly took the order for the drinks, which came very quickly. We then ordered the main course, which we swallowed for the first time because switching from fries to sweet potatoes cost €3. This applies to any change of ingredients. Well… so we ordered 1x fries and schnitzel for the little one 2x bruschetta 1x burger with cheese + sweet potato 1x burger with cheese + bacon + fries 1x lamb plate for 2 The pork schnitzel for the little one was raw inside and had to be re-prepared. The bruschetta didn't look particularly appetizing - a bit grayish and "pale in the nose". The included cucumber and carrot slice were past their golden age and were very dried out or rubbery. The burgers and the side dishes were completely mixed up. The plates were too heavy for the waiter - that's the original sound. However, the taste is okay. The lamb plate - well, unfortunately the potatoes only had a short date with the pan and the lamb seemed to have died two deaths. The icing on the cake was that the waitress had a hard time splitting the bill between two households. An attempt was also made to avoid paying with EC. When the bill came, we were able to pay with EC but at the counter. Why some positions are shown at 19% VAT and others at 7% is a mystery and could not be answered. At least there was home-made baklava for the inconvenience. It should be said that the tables around also complained :-S Too bad.

After a walk we spontaneously stopped by the Turmklause and were absolutely thrilled. Very friendly service, the food was excellent. Even the side salad was very tasty. Finally, a delicious sweet treat on the house. We were completely happy. A great discovery, we would love to come back!

I've been there in August, and everything was great! The waiter service (and particularly Frida), central position, the food is good... Just a little bit pricey about the water and drinks, but that's it. Anyway I would recommend it!

We had dinner there today (Monday). It was very well attended. The service was very nice. The portions were very large and really incredibly tasty! Something different than the standard schnitzel. The price is still okay. We can clearly recommend it.

The only thing that doesn't make sense from the menu is that it doesn't have a real line (various cultures from burgers to shawarma to schnitzel). The courtyard is really great and it looked nicely decorated inside too. We'd love to come back.

We only ate here and didn't stay overnight. The service was perfect, very friendly and accommodating. The map is not too big and absolutely sufficient. The prices are okay. Parking spaces can be found in front of the house.

Absolute recommendation! The guest rooms are cozy and stylishly furnished. The beer garden deserves its name. You can enjoy the delicious food under large parasols and take a look into the brewery. You can put together your own meat, side dish and sauce depending on your preference. We all ordered different types of meat and every piece was cooked to perfection. Really great. The house beer was okay - something different. Price-performance is right.

Hospitality is lived here. We were warmly welcomed. Food is delicious, especially the dessert. The chef and boss takes personal care of his guests. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as we were only in the restaurant. But I can only warmly recommend this. A super nice atmosphere and lovely service. The food is to die for and tastes really delicious. And most importantly, it's all homemade. You can definitely taste this detail even in the ice cream. However, there is one point deducted because the roulade (unfortunately both of those that were ordered) were cold inside. In my opinion, this shouldn't happen. Nevertheless, I would come back here in a heartbeat.

After the prison pub in Luckenwalde was supposedly "too full", we spontaneously went to the Turmklause. There we were warmly welcomed and seated in the beautiful outdoor area of ​​the inner courtyard. The beer offered and the burger I ate there were very tasty. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the pizza... It consists of 80% cheese and you can therefore only taste the cheese. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is very good. We'd love to come back.

Rating does not apply to the beautiful inn but exclusively to the brewery. Went to the Turmklause premises with a club and had them explain how the beer is made. It was a wonderful lecture! 3, actually just "hobby brewers", have been putting their heart and soul into it for years, which you can feel in the stories. Each brewing step was not rattled off, but explained. Standing at the kettle and watching the beer mature... a tour of the brewery has never been more meaningful! The service staff was very friendly, but it takes quite a while for the drinks, the food and finally the bill to arrive and you have to take a lot of time. Even if you come with 2 children and the restaurant was pretty empty. The food was still delicious.

It was the first time I was back in the Turmklause after it reopened. I have a good impression and hope it stays that way. My meal, a veal schnitzel, was very tasty and the waiting time was also reasonable. A big compliment to the nice waiter who had to manage everything on his own due to his employee's illness. Which he did very well.

The outside view of the tower hermitage does not give any idea which pearl is behind the entrance door. The outdoor area is perfect for warm summer evenings. The winter garden for bad weather is just as inviting. Our food was really very good. We will come by more often in the future.

Centrally located in Luckenwalde. Overnight stay is ok for the price. Unfortunately, check-out is also at 10 a.m. on weekends. Breakfast only until 9am.

Brewery restaurant downstairs completely closed due to lack of staff - very disappointing!! That was one of the reasons, if not at all, why I, as a committed beer drinker, chose this hotel: to be able to enjoy a nice, freshly tapped Pilsner from the in-house brewery in the great beer garden upon our arrival! The double bed was very uncomfortable and way too big for the room. Normal entry and exit was not possible on one side... an absolute no-go! My wife and I were both so exhausted in the morning! :-( Otherwise our room was clean, bright and friendly. The bathroom was good. Breakfast was ok. Staff friendly. Location very central: pedestrian zone easily accessible on foot in 3-5 minutes. But we won't be coming here again. Overall, there were unfortunately too many disappointing points that we had to record during our stay :-(

You immediately felt comfortable. The hosts were super friendly and loving and did everything for us to make our stay as perfect as possible. The breakfast was super delicious and made with love. We were even able to taste and buy the delicious beer from our own brewery. So a clear recommendation from us and we would be happy to come back.

Older inn on the market. Unfortunately the restaurant will probably be closed until summer. The homepage has since been revised accordingly. Beer is only brewed sporadically, but you can book a tour with tasting on site. Otherwise beer is not sold. The rooms with bathrooms are very clean, but very small. Sometimes the beds are against the walls. In order to get into bed, you first have to climb over your partner. The tour of the brewery was good. The breakfast was very, very good. The table is lovingly set with everything you need for a good breakfast.

The rooms are small but tidy, modern and clean. The location on the busy street is not ideal if you want to sleep with the window open. Unfortunately the restaurant was completely closed and there was only someone there for breakfast. The restaurant really has potential when it comes to the ambience and the brewery!

Unfortunately, the in-house restaurant is closed. No staff. A pity. But there are other options too. Booked directly on the website. It would have been more expensive with booking.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe (reserviert) zum Abendessen hier. Freundlich und zuvorkommend wurden wir am Tisch bedient. Die Portionen sind für große Jungs! Da ist echt ordentlich was auf dem Teller. Aber lecker!

Die Turmklause ist ein wirklich schöner Ort in Luckenwalde. Das Essen war hervorragend. Sättigend, einfach gut. Die Damen vom Service sind sehr nett. Die Besitzer lebensfroh und die Führung durch die Brauerei war sehr wissenswert. Das Bier schmeckt großartig! Wir haben wirklich gut geschlafen und das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und mit Liebe gemacht. Wenn wir in Luckenwalde sind, kommen wir wieder!

In Anbetracht der aktuellen Situation war es ein wenig kalt - ergo: wärmer anziehen! Die Bedienung war alleine: deswegen gab es einige wenige (aber merkliche) Wartezeit! Die Auswahl der Biere könnte für eine Brauerei größer sein. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden! Der Whow-Effekt blieb aus.
