This place was really recommended to us and it was the best find. We came from Barcelona and were amazed by the dishes. Super recommended, both for its food but above all for its attention! The waiters are always very helpful.

I spontaneously visited this restaurant. Even without a reservation, I was assigned a great table after 2 minutes. I ate vegetable dumplings with salad. There really is a lot on the menu for vegetarians! The beer is delicious, the food was very good, the portion was a bit small. What I particularly liked was the fast and totally friendly service! Everyone was attentive, the food came quickly and the friendliness of the attractive service person Marc was top notch! With his charismatic smile and charisma, he left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, the food had nothing to do with Swabian cuisine. These were the worst cheese spaetzle I've ever had... And in the middle of the Ländle. No matter how great the restaurant has a great ambience right on the Neckar, I no longer come to (Swabian) food.

Eine schön gelegene, gastfreundliche Wirtschaft mit prima Bier, ordentlichen handfesten Speisen. Warnung für bayerische Besucher: die Weißwurst taugt nichts, hat mit einer echten Münchner Weißwurst nichts gemein.

Good service, good atmosphere and the food is pretty good. I have ordered the roasted beef with sautéed onion and i have ordered it medium rare and it gave me a medium rare, I am very happy about this. Their wheat beer is also very nice to drink. Lastly, I also ordered the haxe pork knuckle, it was good, especially the skin part, the meat is half braised which is very good!

Wir waren Mittags im Biergarten - schöner Blick auf dem Neckar, schnelle Verfügbarkeit von Getränken und Kleinigkeiten zum Essen, da man sich in einer der zwei "Schlangen" einreiht und dann quasi im "self service" seine Sachen zum Biertisch bringt. Am Abend dann die "Ernüchterung" - trotz Platzreservierung haben wir einen sehr schlechten Tisch direkt im hinteren (stickigen) Teil der Gaststätte auf der Rückseite mit Blick zum betonierten Anlieferungsbereich erhalten - nach 15 min. ohne Ansprache durch eine Bedienung haben wir das Lokal wieder verlassen.

Delicious food, incredible dealings with foreigners (they gave us a menu in Spanish) and a menu for CELIACOS.

A table was reserved in advance on the terrace and was then moved to the Inn without consultation and other tables were brought forward. The answer you got was 'If you can't do anything then you'll have to go to the service yourself', which was outrageous!

Food quality has really decreased significantly over the years and at prices for which you can really expect more. The beautiful location and the good beer remain, but to be honest, it's a real shame that there is no longer good food in this great location.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food. After waiting half an hour for service, there was no longer any lunch menu at 1 p.m.

Very very bad service. After 20 minutes there was still no waitress at the table to place the order. And this is the second time. Never, ever again.

Food was good, but it was cold when I got it, there was way too much sauce on my food and I ordered before five people and got the food last. The friendliness of the service was excellent

After a trip with the punting we came here hungry. Good decision! Everything that comes to the table here tastes great. How do I know this? The plates that are cleared are empty. I ate roast pork and onion roast myself, and they were indeed excellent. My thought: Aha, this is what pork can taste like. And that's why we only left blank plates behind. The beer with it was phenomenal and was simply 'breathed away' on this hot day.

Decided at short notice to eat here with friends after a trip to Tübingen! Even though it was very busy, there were friendly staff and quick ordering. The food came quickly and was even more delicious!!! Definitely we will come back! Thank you @Neckarmüller team

Erst denkt man, dass bei der Lage es sicher eine Touristenfalle ist. Aber weit gefehlt. War super lecker! Sehr nette Bedienung! Und das Kellerbier ist mega lecker und super frisch. Nebenbei kann man das Treiben auf dem Neckar beobachten.

Location carina con bella terrazza sul fiume, personale cortese, sorridente ed inglese parlante, prezzo ben modesto… peccato che il cibo faceva così schifo che abbiamo dovuto forzare la memoria per trovare altre esperienze ugualmente pessime, forse qualche anno addietro in Birmania…

Attracted by the reviews we ventured in... at first sight very pleasant, unfortunately the staff were really not very kind, in fact... grumpy. Very normal food, nothing special, high price in relation to the quality.

Great restaurant right on the Neckar.

Very tasty food. I can recommend the sauerbraten. The sauce tasted excellent and there was plenty of it. The red cabbage tasted excellent. A second dumpling and a little more salt on the dumpling would be the cherry on top. I was a little surprised by the beer. I ordered a Helles and got a Weozen... the menu also says Weisse Hell. I didn't know that but it was super tasty.

The perfect gastronomic experience! Super delicious food, friendly and fast staff and a great ambience. I would just like a little more flexibility with the items you take with you, unfortunately it wasn't possible to carry four bottles of Kellerbier in the carrier. Still full marks, highly recommended.

We ate there for the first time last week. The restaurant has a nice location right on the banks of the Neckar but that's really it. The food doesn't deserve more than 2 stars, sorry. The meat in the roast was very inedible. The spaetzle was OK. The beer as well. The side salad was simply placed in a bowl in a careless and tasteless manner. The apple strudel was well... The absolute hammer was the price of the espresso. €3.30 and that was one of the worst I've ever drunk. Sorry, but that's not how gastronomy works!

Our visit to the restaurant was very unpleasant. My father wanted to have a coffee in the empty restaurant. I was only allowed to stay as a companion if I ordered something. The service was unfriendly and intrusive: “You already know that you are in a restaurant.” Additionally, overpriced prices. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Nice restaurant in Tübingen. Right on the river bank with a great view, you get the perfect atmosphere. The restaurant is very busy, so it is advisable to reserve a seat. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. One point goes to the food, it was really tasty but unfortunately the spaetzle was cold. A possible reason was probably the high number of visitors that evening. We will definitely stop by here again.

The food was very tasty, the portions were a good amount and we waited very little. Prices were a bit expensive but you have to pay for the view of the Necker. But we have something to say, or a waiter who was very unfriendly with us: we briefly heard a song on our cell phone and he immediately got angry with us... He told us: "Please turn off the music"! and he immediately left. You don't treat customers like that!!

Would be nice to be steated instead of trying to find a spot on your own which makes it seem busier than it is.

The Neckarmueller delivered! We were a group of 8 people and they made booking via email from the USA super easy and responded quickly. The food was wonderful local fair and we also enjoyed the beers and other beverages. There's a section on the menu with beer schnaps and beer cocktails that was interesting. The views on the Neckar are lovely and we were lucky to sit outside. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location of the restaurant is very central and the seats on the sun terrace with a view of the Neckar are really nice. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The portions are generous and sufficient for small and large appetites. We were at lunchtime and felt very comfortable. Very good value for money.

AMAZING!! I am not a big reviewer but The views from the back patio are perfect. The service is top notch! The food and the beer absolutely amazing. I had a pretzel and the Weiss Hell. Then the Swabian Maultaschensuppe. A soup with a big meat filled ravioli. Then the Tellerschnitzel with potato salad. Amazing experience

Dear people, if you want good home-style food, it's best not to go to Neckarmüller. Except for the location and the staff, everything else is below average. The soup had no seasoning, the schnitzel was absolutely not outstanding and had a boring taste. Not to mention the spaetzle and the sauce, which you can cook better at home. The bottom line is that I was dissatisfied and find the people's assessment here to be too good-natured.

A mini television for public viewing in the beer garden. The game before ours was simply decided before it was over. We arrived two hours early and saved two places at our table for friends and also ordered drinks for them. Despite demonstrably enough space at our table, they were no longer allowed to enter 20 minutes before kick-off due to a “lack of space”. Boss EXTREMELY unfriendly, spoke to me in a very inappropriate tone, security was super nice. We definitely won't be coming back to the public viewing and would rather go to the competition :)

The menu includes drinks with sparkling wine and drinks with Aperol. What is not available to order? That's right: an Aperol Spritz. If you talk to the waitress about it, she gets mushy...

For me a great beer garden! Very pleasant atmosphere with a great mix of students, tourists and locals. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the location and the great food. One of the best addresses for anyone who wants to spend warm and sociable summer evenings outdoors.

The brewery is centrally located on the Neckar. We were there spontaneously with a group of 4 people and got a table. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Of course, quality and performance have their price. However, I find the portion sizes a bit too small, I hope that more money goes to the staff. We would come again.

Haben hier etwas im Biergarten getrunken. Preise und Auswahl sind für die Lage okay. War sehr schön im Biergarten. Das Bier kommt aus der Mössinger Brauerei Fischer. Die brauen eher untergährig- somit nicht mein Fall. Zum Essen kann ich nichts Beitragen würde ich aber ausprobieren. Personal nett und freundlich.

The food today was significantly worse than usual. I blame it on the many guests, but that shouldn't be an excuse. So I had my plate returned and an expired one as an apology!!! get beer. This food is probably only good for people who have no taste.

Every meal is cold and if the children only get food when the adults are already finished, then you don't have any fun

Food tasted great. Of course, the view of the Neckar is great. But the highlight was the service being so friendly and accommodating. Children are welcome and there is a play area.

Great food and great service. Our waitress Sabine saved our day, was extremely friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and the portions are large. A little expensive but a fantastic location on the water.

Mainbock Brauhaus Gulasch and Brauhaus Pfändle deserve a grade one, service very friendly and courteous, again at any time.

We had reserved a table for 7 people. When we arrived, we were shown to two separate, round tables, which were only put together upon request. When we asked to be seated at a “normal” table so that two people didn’t have to sit in the “gap” between the tables, we were told everything was reserved. In the end, we were discreetly annoyed and seated at a “sitting bar” in the entrance area, which wasn't ideal, but better than the round tables in the last corner. The food came quite quickly and was also very good, unfortunately we sat there for almost an hour with empty plates and glasses. It was only after repeated requests that the empty dishes were finally cleared away and another drink order was taken. The atmosphere is very nice, but we were not satisfied with the service, especially not given the high prices.

Very pleasant place. Right on a canal and we “ate” outside. Weather was perfect. Maybe I ordered wrong but the food was terrible and I could not eat it. But I am an excellent cook and spend a lot of time in Italy where the food everywhere is delicious. So maybe I am just too particular. The meat was dry. The noodles were cold. The gravy was disgusting. I left hungry. But…. The rhubarb soda is incredible.

Surprisingly small selection of food and quite expensive, it's not a brewery restaurant in the traditional sense. There are also a surprising number of mixed beer drinks, but no really good beer, which is a shame. The restaurant is actually very nice and therefore definitely has room for improvement.

Successful mix of modern brewery and traditional restaurant. Centrally located on the edge of the old town and yet quietly on the Neckar. A wide range of drinks and food, including home-style dishes, not forgetting the home-brewed beers! Service staff very friendly and accommodating! I really enjoyed the tripe with roasted potatoes. In summer it is also nice to dine on the terrace overlooking the Neckar or visit the quiet, shady beer garden. My first choice in Tübingen for years!

Wie in vielen Bewertungen schon beschrieben, ja das Lokal wird von vielen Touristen besucht. Aber wenn eine Stadt wie Tübingen eben auch von Touristen lebt, ist es eben so. Die Preise sind so, wie man sie hier dann erwartet. Die Speisen, in unserem Fall das Putenschnitzel und die Haxe, waren gut und ausreichend, kein kulinarisches Highlight, aber in München im Biergarten auch nicht anders. Sonntag Abends bei lauen Temperaturen natürlich voll, keine Reservierung möglich, auch nicht auf den nächsten freien Tisch. Da muss man eben warten. Der Biergarten unten am Fluss ist recht groß, mit Biertisch-Garnituren und Selbstbedienung. Alles in allem kann man hier schon gut zum Essen hingehen.
