Wir waren begeistert! Das Essen war super frisch und sehr lecker. Die Qualität der Speisen hat uns überzeugt und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Das Personal war außerdem sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch das Ambiente ist angenehm und gemütlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

War mit meiner Freundin am frühen Samstag Abend zum Essen dort wir saßen draußen auf der Terrasse die Bedienung war fix und freundlich wir hatten beide einen Salat mit Putensteak was sehr lecker war.

Sehr gute Qualität vom Essen, war super lecker vom Salat bis zum Fleisch. Obwohl es nicht so voll war, hatte ich das Gefühl dass die Servicemitarbeitenden gestresst waren. Wir kommen gerne wieder mal vorbei !

Die Schnitzel und Pommes waren fürchterlich. Man könnte ja auch mit vernünftigen Saucen aufpeppen. Bei uns in Frankfurt gibt es Chili Soßen, Grien Soß und ähnliches. Das hilft auch ein schlechtesln Schnitzel auf die Beine.

Absolute Empfehlung Super Essen, schönes Ambiente mit Kessèl Jederzeit wieder Salat als Beilage odeŕ Getränkeeher etwas teurer, FLEISCH - superlecker !

Rustikal aber gepflegt. Schneller Service. Leider sieht alles sehr nach Convenience aus. Exakt dasselbe Schmorgemüse hatte ich schon in einem anderem Restaurant gegessen. Auch die Knödel und die Gemüsepuffer bzw. drei vegetarische Gerichte schmeckten sehr nach vorgefertigtem Essen - und sahen auch so aus. Schade. Von daher leider der Preis nicht angemessen.

Wir waren hier zum späten Mittagessen. Hatten das Gefühl dass wir unerwünscht sind. Ich habe nach einem kleinen Teller für meine Tochter gefragt, da sie bei uns mit isst. Der Teller kostet 1,50....der Service war spärlich, das Essen okay. Wohl haben wir uns nicht gefühlt. Schade eigentlich, die Location ist ansich ganz schön und man könnte was draus machen.

Sportliche Preise. Kartenzahlung erst ab 10€. Wer nur was trinken will sollte Kleingeld dabei haben.

Mir hat das Ambiente sehr gut gefallen, das Essen war sehr gut und preiswert und das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist der Getränkepreis.Wir werden, wenn wir in der Nähe sind, trotzdem wieder hingehen.

Habe hier schon öfter zum Mittag gegessen mal ist viel los mal wenig.Ich wurde immer sehr schnell und freundlich bedient.Ich kann die Rostbraten,Die Schnitzel,und das putesnsteak jeweils mit spätlzle empfehlen. Allerdings sind die pommes auch bombe.Zusammengefasst ein sehr gutes Lokal zum Schwäbisch essen.

Schade liebes Kesselhaus, Eure Fleischgerichte sahen lecker und waren es wohl auch aber eine Ofenkartoffel mit einem Minischälchen Kräuterquark und 2 Scheiben Lachs als Abdeckung für die Kartoffel ist peinlich, für über 14 Euro noch nicht mal ein Blatt Salat oder ein Stückchen Tomate zur Dekoration auf dem ländlichen weißen Teller war schon optisch eine Zumutung!

Viele Kellner verderben den Brei. Es kam zu Missverständnissen bei den Bestellungen. Teilweise Sprachbarrieren. Mein Eindruck war, dass im Personal ein spürbares Stresslevel herrscht und so voll war es nicht...

Ordentliches gutes Lokal keine grosse Hoehen und tiefen...

War seit langer Zeit mal wieder im Kesselhaus. Das Schwabenschnitzel war gut. Die Servicekraft hatte aber keine Lust. Sie wirkte mürrisch und gestresst.

Es war sehr lecker. Ich empfehle die Maracuja Schorle.

Typisch deutsches Bier und Essen. Hier kann man nichts falsch machen.

Leider was das Essen angeht abgebaut - wenn man für den Preis Metro spätzle zu nem kleinen Schnitzel bekommt ist einfach etwas schade. Auch schade dass es kein eigenes Bier mehr gibt. Das Ambiente und der Service ist aber immernoch top.

Das Essen war sehr gut, Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Ambiente wie es in einer Brauerei Gaststätte halt ist . Urgemütlich passt halt .

Sehr tolles Design und Inventar lädt zum Speisen ein. Die Portionen könnten etwas größer sein. Das Kesselhaus bietet sich auch für Größere Gruppen an. Der Außenbereich ist schön zwischen Gebäuden gelegen. Geschmacklich gibts nichts zu mäkeln. Service war nett und schnell. Auch hier gibt es ein Update nach ein paar Jahren. Zum wiederholten Male leider nicht wirklich eine gute Service erwischt. Die Bedienungen hatten schlechte Laune,waren nicht wirklich freundlich und man merkte bei der Bestellaufnahme schon,dass mit ihr heut nicht gut Kirschen essen ist. Die schnippischen Antworten auf Fragen zum Essen und Bier wurden gekontert, was nicht gerade zum Aufhellen der Stimmung beitrug. Egal. Das Bier schmeckte,das Ambiente ist immer noch 1A und die Speisen waren durch die Bank weg spitze.

Sehr gute Atmosphäre und gutes Bier!

Wir waren früher öfters hier zu Gast, wurden in der Regel auch gut bedient, das Essen und Ambiente ist sehr gut, darum auch 5 Sterne jeweils in der Detailbewertung. Service und Freundlichkeit hat über die Jahre leider nachgelassen, allerdings wollten wir es heute nochmal probieren. Erst hat man uns mehrere Minuten und ohne Blickkontakt der Person hinterm Tresen stehen lassen, dann schickte man uns weg mit den Worten "hätte man mal vorher reservieren sollen". Okay, Samstag Abend ist das Restaurant gut besucht, aber geht man so mit Kunden um? Zumal viele Tische im hinteren Bereich frei waren. Ob wirklich alle reserviert waren ... Hier werden wir jedenfalls nicht mehr herkommen, wenn sich nichts am Service ändert.

Das Kesselhaus ist eine recht große Brauereihalle mit vielen Tischen und Stühlen. Ich hatte per mail für eine Gruppe reserviert. Das hat anstandslos geklappt! Die Getränke waren schnell aufgenommen und sehr schnel gebracht worden. Das hat mich sehr erstaunt, da alles auf einem Zettel aufgeschrieben wurde und nicht per Fernübertragung an die Theke gesendet wurde. Wir kamen zu einer Uhrzeit, in der nur die kleine Karte auslag. Wir wurden trotzdem alle satt. Die Freunde waren jedenfalls sehr angetan von den Schnitzeln. Die heißen Gerichte kamen sehr schnell. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und ging auf die Sonderwünsche verschiedener Damen ein. Ich werde mal wieder mit einer Gruppe ins Kesselhaus gehen!

Ja, ich bin ab und zu hier mit paar Freunde von mir!

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen zum ersten Mal im Kesselhaus Ambiente im Industriedesign ist ok. Obwohl das Lokal nicht voll war kam die Bedienung erst verspâtet. Eine 2. Bedienung kam erst 15 Minuten später als Verstärkung von draußen rein, zog ihre Jacke aus und unterstützte ihre Kollegin. Bestellt haben wir das Tellerschnitzel mit Pommes Frites. Vielleicht hätten wir was anderes bestellen sollen. Das Schnitzel war totgebraten. Die Panade war ohne Geschmack, hatte einen öligen, fettigen Nachgeschmack. Herumstehende Kisten mit Leergut(?) und andere Dinge standen neben der Theke herum und machten das ansonsten gute Ambiente nicht gerade schöner. Schade eigentlich....

Gutes Essen, guter Service und ein schönes Gebäude. Ich würde wiederkommen :)

Is this how you treat your customers? We were really looking forward to our Christmas party as a small group (10 people). The venue was quite nice, the space was good, and the noise level was reasonably low. The initially friendly staff took our drink order fairly quickly, and the drinks were served promptly. As for the food, we were informed a little later that it would probably take a while because other guests and larger groups were also having Christmas parties. We were understanding and politely asked for a rough estimate of how long we might have to wait for our food. This conversation didn't really go well, perhaps due to language or comprehension difficulties. Even after another server joined the conversation, they were still hesitant about taking our food order, which led us to consider going to the nearby Christmas market and coming back later, or even looking for a different restaurant altogether. They simply refused to give us any kind of guarantee about the wait time. ... Just a short time later, one of the servers came around the corner with the surprising news that she would now take our order. Equally surprising to us was how quickly the food was served, and most of us considered it a success. They certainly made sure our customers were satisfied. After the tables were cleared, some of us were browsing the menu for dessert when suddenly the head chef (presumably also the owner) came around the corner and, in a decidedly inappropriate tone, suggested we were welcome to choose another restaurant, as his kitchen had delivered 180 meals that day and we weren't the only customers. In response to this remark, we tried to politely explain that we had simply asked the servers how long we had had to wait for our food. Unfortunately, the "nice gentleman" wasn't willing to listen to our explanation, but he had taken the time to express his displeasure despite the 180 meals. Respect. All of this was reason enough for us to leave immediately and pay, which also meant we were rather stingy with the tip (Dear servers, please thank your boss for this!). Finally, let me reiterate that this review is not due to the location, the food, the service staff, or the communication difficulties we encountered, but solely to the questionable behavior of a head chef who is now perhaps meticulously scrutinizing his receipts. He likely didn't overhear the rather friendly conversation we had with the staff beforehand. The restaurant can certainly live with the fact that we won't be returning, but a business owner has to expect such reviews when, especially as the boss, they lack a certain level of competence, friendliness, respect, or tact in dealing with their customers.

We were a group of 10 people and had made a reservation. Our drinks arrived quickly, but then the server told us she couldn't take our food order for at least another 30 minutes because there was a larger group waiting. We would have been happy to wait 45 to 60 minutes. When we asked, she couldn't give us a more precise timeframe, so we said we might go somewhere else. (It could theoretically have taken two hours.) When the waitress returned, she was finally able to take our order, and the food arrived quite quickly. The food itself was good, so we were quite satisfied. But then came the unpleasant end, because the chef/owner of the restaurant came to our table and was very unfriendly, practically taking his frustration out on us. He said he was in the kitchen from morning till night and that we should go somewhere else if we didn't like the wait. As a customer, I can't accept that, hence only 2 stars. Had he refrained from doing that, I would have left as a satisfied guest and probably given 5 stars. Too bad.

Kesselhaus is a sure thing: solid food and delicious beer.

We had lunch there today. The beer was very good, as was the service, but the food didn't match. I had beef on rösti; the rösti was okay, but the meat was extremely stringy and tough. The price/performance ratio wasn't right (€27).

The food was disappointing. The schnitzel was deep-fried, not pan-fried, and the overall taste was very bland. The beer was good.

We've been there a few times and were very satisfied with the food and service. My only complaint is the parking. We were the first guests and all the spaces in the boiler house were taken, and we had to pay to park across the street. The owner should take action, even though it says everywhere that parking is for guests only.

The Kesselhaus has a great atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. However, the quality of the food is about on par with a "canteen" meal. The roast beef with onions was small, and the schnitzel and fries could have come from a hospital cafeteria. We found the service staff's tone bordering on unfriendly. As a man, you have to change your baby in the women's restroom. I'm by no means woke, but I draw the line there, too. In summary: the service and food are satisfactory. Based on the service provided, I wouldn't recommend the Kesselhaus to anyone.

Typical convenience food, as expected, although the beer was so-so. But the decor was quite nice.

If you just want a quick bite to eat, it might be okay. But we won't go back. We were there on a Sunday shortly before 5 p.m. Practically every table had "reserved" signs (without a time indication or anything like that). Although at least half were empty, we were shown to an unattractive table despite asking. The food was good, but poorly presented and the portion size (roast beef for just under €28) was quite small. Drinks were okay (although non-alcoholic beers are more expensive than alcoholic ones).

The food and service were very good. We were a large group in the adjoining room, but the ambiance was unfortunately very sober and incredibly loud. It's a shame, as it somewhat dampened the good impression.

Friendly service, tasty beer, and good food. It's easy to have a good conversation, and it's not too loud. But you should make a reservation in the evening, otherwise it's a gamble, even if it's just the two of you dropping by spontaneously.

The food and the atmosphere are simply fantastic. Only the drinks (e.g., €3.90 for a small elderflower spritzer) are way too expensive! The service was friendly, and the prices for the food are reasonable for the quality. We'll be happy to come back for dinner.

I always enjoy eating chicken wings at Kesselhaus. The two dips (yogurt and tomato) were a delight. But suddenly I'm only getting yogurt dip! When I asked WHY, I was told it was returned so often, that's why it was removed from the menu. I think that's absolutely unacceptable! The price has stayed the same, but the service is LESS! The chicken wings with just yogurt dip are completely missing a delicious element. That little bit of tomato dip isn't really that expensive to annoy customers. I've ALWAYS eaten both dips, including my family. I won't order chicken wings anymore because the enjoyment has really been lost with the boring yogurt dip. The chef should go back to offering the ingredients as they have for years. I was "offered" ketchup instead. But this unhealthy alternative is out of the question for me!

Visited the Kesselhaus for the first time today. The staff was very friendly. We had the daily special, which was delicious. Unfortunately, the restrooms are upstairs—not so easy for people with disabilities, as there are so many stairs.

A restaurant with ambiance and a great menu. The hop blossom bed was a delicious dinner.

Super nice staff, food was on the table in a short time. The portions are large and very tasty. My absolute plus point is the animal-friendly behavior. We were traveling with two dogs who were both warmly welcomed, a drink bowl was provided and even a treat was given. You don't often see such animal-friendly behavior. Thank you for this great experience! We'd love to come back!!!

The ambience is quite something, the restaurant in the brewery and the one in an old industrial building from 1895. There is good and tasty Swabian cuisine here, as well as very good home-brewed beer. The service ladies were always attentive, quick and very friendly.

I was at the boiler house with customers for dinner. Both the food and the beer (hefeweissbier and promotional beer) tasted very good. The service was very courteous and attentive. On my next stay in Schorndorf, I will definitely make a trip to the Kesselhaus again and can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The food is great!!! Unfortunately I was only there at lunchtime and only had the intermediate menu to choose from, which the people didn't have to offer. But understandable.

We came over spontaneously for lunch and were very satisfied. The food tasted delicious and the service was attentive and quick.

The Rustico tasted good but unfortunately it was more like it was done even though I asked for medium and that's a shame.

It's annoying when it says on the Internet that we are open and we wanted to open on Saturday, December 28th, 2024 We came to dinner at 1 p.m. and stood in front of the locked door. It would be good if the holidays were announced.

The service staff are very attentive and despite the full house, the waiting time for the food was great (approx. 15 minutes) There is a children's play area for children. Due to the size, there is a relatively high noise level when there are many guests. Lots of parking nearby. Not barrier-free. In the pictures Sudhauspfännle and Bierbrauerschnitzel.
