Gasthaus "Zur Palme" in Heidesee

Highly recommended! We ate at the Gasthaus zur Palme yesterday and felt incredibly comfortable from the very first moment. A truly lovely, traditional village restaurant – run by warm, experienced hosts who clearly take pleasure in giving their guests a wonderful evening. Exactly the kind of local pub you still wish you had these days. About the food: • I had pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potatoes – melt-in-your-mouth tender, full of flavor, and exactly what you'd expect in a proper inn. • My wife had the roast goose leg with kale – perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, accompanied by an aromatic gravy and two delicious dumplings. • For dessert, I had an Amaretto ice cream sundae, which was not only visually stunning but also absolutely delicious. • Drinks: Two dark wheat beers for me, a hot chocolate, and later a white wine spritzer for my wife. • My wife had two dark wheat beers, a hot chocolate, and later a white wine spritzer. • Atmosphere & Service: The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, and typical of a traditional country inn – exactly the kind of charm that's so rare these days. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine. No rush, no forced friendliness – just honest hospitality. One minor drawback: Currently, card payments aren't accepted. While this is a small disadvantage these days and would be the perfect finishing touch, it's certainly no reason not to return. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely dine here again. A word about other reviews: I read several reviews complaining that the food "takes too long." Honestly, anyone expecting everything to be on the table in a matter of minutes at such a warm, traditional inn should probably get a gift certificate and go to McDonald's. Here, the food is cooked with care, skill, and love – and you can taste it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars – an unqualified recommendation for the Gasthaus zur Palme!

We've now ordered takeaway food from there twice – simply incredibly delicious. The cook is super friendly, helpful, and very generous with the portions. Many thanks and we'll definitely be back soon.

I got an ice cream 🍨, 2 scoops, lots of cream, well, you can save a fortune that way, otherwise you can get it at the street, it's fine. MFG

Good food selection, and I'd happily return even if there's a bit of a wait. After a while, you'll start ignoring the street directly in front and the chatter of some of the "regulars" from the terrace.

We come here every summer when we're moored in Prieros harbor on our houseboat. The food here is always delicious, whether it's German home cooking or Mediterranean cuisine, everything is lovingly prepared and served. They also serve delicious ice cream sundaes and cakes. The service is fantastic. Very friendly and always up for a chat. Water was always offered for our dog, too. The ambiance inside is a bit dated, but sitting outside is very cozy, even though it's right on a main road. We were once again very impressed and will definitely come back next year.

Nice ice cream parlor and restaurant.

We highly recommend this restaurant/ice cream parlor. Its location right on the street, where you constantly see motorcycles driving by, gives it an almost Italian holiday feel. They offer a wide range of dishes, so everyone will find something to their liking. A particular highlight for us are the four different types of freshly prepared fish sandwiches. They're a must-try. And for dessert, of course, a delicious sundae from their own ice cream parlor. For us, it's simply a top address where the service is quick and friendly.

There were 5 of us eating there and we had booked a table beforehand. The table we ordered was available for us inside. Since the sun was shining, we preferred to sit outside. Apart from a beer tent set that was too uncomfortable for older people, but we could all fit in, there were only tables for four available. So we had to sit inside, the service was friendly and the food was OK. We were the only guests who ordered lunch, the waiting time was too long and the dishes didn't come together, the first one was almost ready when the last two dishes came to the table. You wonder how long you have to wait when it's full and several tables order food.

I was traveling through with my wife in February and spontaneously stopped there to have dinner. The atmosphere is more like a pub than a restaurant. The house brand beer tasted good, the salad plate in front was crisp and fresh. My wife had schnitzel with fries, I had a Gordon bleu with fries. The fries were very nice, not the old hard little square things. My wife's schnitzel "went well," according to her, my Gordon bleu was a failure, tough, hard, probably fried too long, just didn't taste good. In the summer, outside, with ice cream, it's probably better...

Located directly in Priros on the B246, this small restaurant is worth a visit. The innkeepers stay calm and keep an overview, even when it's packed.

This restaurant with an ice cream counter is located right on the street in Prieros. The ice cream was delicious and several flavors to choose from. 1 scoop of ice cream 🍨 to take away cost €1.20. There are also fish sandwiches and cakes in the cake display case. You can also eat or have a drink on site indoors or outdoors. A bus stop is also located directly on site. Certainly practical for two-wheeler riders to stop briefly and enjoy a snack etc. Card payment was not possible.

Today we went to the Gasthaus zur Palme to enjoy an ice cream sundae. And it was a real treat. Lots of ice cream with extra lots of fruit and fruits for a completely reasonable price. The service was good and quick, despite being busy. Extra requests will be fulfilled unconditionally. The employees also take the time for a little chat. I deducted two stars for the seating because the chairs were too high for the table, or the table was too low for the chairs. This made sitting a bit uncomfortable. But we will definitely come back.

Food was very tasty. Schnitzel with chanterelles and fried potatoes. Everyone nice and friendly. Nothing more is needed.

Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations based on the positive Google reviews. Although "special requests" were addressed, unfortunately the service seemed a bit confused and uncoordinated. The atmosphere right on the street is not particularly inviting, but bearable. Maybe you could at least visually improve it a bit. :-)

I spontaneously wanted to eat a blueberry cup there. I would have had almost an hour until my bus left at 4:30 p.m. At that time you think you should actually be able to order the ice cream sundae and finish the ice cream...Unfortunately I had to leave again after 20 minutes because no waitress came to ask what it could be??Because I did I wanted to enjoy my ice cream but unfortunately that wasn't possible...

Stopped there spontaneously yesterday and got delicious, freshly baked cake and coffee. Service was super nice and very quick. It was well attended, as it was also Easter Monday and a public holiday. There was a parking lot right in front of the inn. Met some nice people and picked up a delicious fish sandwich for the evening. We'd love to come back. A wide range of food and drinks. A special compliment to our waitress, who really had her hands full and still served us quickly with a bright smile and nice sayings.

We had breakfast there. It was really delicious and rich and the staff was friendly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back

We were pleasantly surprised today! Today we went for a ride on our motorbike in the south of Berlin and spontaneously stopped here! Actually just for a snack! But we got huge portions (currywurst with fries, hearty pea stew) and from nice staff too! The food was rich and extremely flavorful, and for today's occasion, our female companion received a glass of champagne on the house! Price/performance top, absolutely recommended! Next time we'll stop here again, but on purpose! Thank you!

The Palme is a restaurant where you can get very good and tasty food (enough for many people) for around €40 for celebrations such as New Year's Eve. The service is very friendly and Kati makes every effort to ensure customer satisfaction. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to celebrate something with family or friends in a beautiful small village.

Haben nach eine längeren Radtour hier angehalten und Eis und Kaffee bestellt. Alles was wir bestellt haben kam super schnell an und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Unserem kleinen Hund wurde auch gleich Wasser angeboten als wir uns draußen hingesetzt hatten. Es hat auch alles wirklich ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Heute, kurz auf der Durchreise schnell 2 Kugel Eis... die Kugel hatten die Größe von Tischtennisbällen! Ein Witz!!! Und der Größte war die Dame hinter der Truhe! Taub, Frech und vorlaut. Warscheinlich gibt es auf dem Dorf nichts Besseres! Wäre 100% eine Abmahnung für dieses Verhalten. Keine Ahnung wer dieser Frau einen Arbeitsplatz gibt... Hauptsache man kann Quatsch und braucht keine Leistung abliefern. Wir kommen dort letztes Wochenende vorbei und werden 100% dort nicht mehr halten! Schlimmer geht nicht.

Lage direkt an der Straße, Bedienung super nett, das Schnitzel Industrieware TK, aber schön angerichtet. Es gäbe doch einen Metzger am Ort und so ein Stück Fleisch wäre doch schnell paniert. Dann wäre es wirklich sehr gut hier... vielleicht nur mal so als Idee 😉

Tolle Eisbecher. Das Essen ist mit viel Liebe und frischen Zutaten angerichtet. Die Bedienung ist einfach super, höflich , schnell und gut gelaunt. Weiter so! Da kommt man gerne!

Wir waren mit Motorrädern unterwegs und haben hier eine Rast gemacht. Speisen und Getränke sind von guter Qualität. Die Preise sind okay. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und nett. Mit anderen Gästen kamen wir ins Gespräch. Das fanden wir gut. Alles in Allem, für eine Rast kann ich das Gasthaus zur Palme empfehlen

Tolles Team, bin sehr gern dort. Essen schmeckt und bei 18 Sorten Eis Auswahl ist für jeden Geschmack was dabei.

Super leckere Speisen, nette Bedingungen und familiäres Umfeld. Wir kommen immer wieder gern.

Wir waren 3 Erwachsene und Kleinkind. Da es gruseliges Wetter war sind wir rein gegangen. Wir hatten allerdings nicht wirklich den Eindruck willkommen zu sein das Personal ignorierte uns erstmal. Das Essen allerdings war gut, selbst gemacht, relativ schnell fertig und faire Preise. Die Lage direkt an der Straße ist nicht so toll und drinnen kann man auch noch bißchen was " aufhübschen".

Da fahren wir extra mit dem Boot nach Prieros um zu Gerd zu gehen, immer wieder und immer wieder

Positiv zu sehen ist die freundliche Service-Mitarbeiterin. Aber: Die Fassbrause war warm und schal, die Bratwurst war zu lange in der Fritteuse und daher hart und die Currysauce der Currywurst ist eine Bestrafung. Daher leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Die erste Frage wenn wir essen gehen wollen ist ob man mit hund rein darf. Und wir durften rein. :) Es war zwar noch Platz im Biergarten und im "Anbau" Platz, dennoch wollten wir rein. Es gab was ich sah 2 Gasträume, der eine etwas schlichter der andere gehobener. Das Essen war gut und die Preis Leistung stimmt auf jedenfall. Der Service war sehr nett, Wasser für Hund bekommen aber auch zu uns waren er super :D wenn ich wieder mal da bin werden wir auf jedenfall wieder hingehen. Alles gute für euch.

Das Eis schmeckte gut.Jedoch verstand die Kellnerin nicht den 2.Eisbecher bei der Bestellung. Er kam dann ne halbe Stunde später. Anstand den Becher zu machen,wurde erst eine größere Gruppe vorgezogen.
