We had lunch at the Gasthaus zur Linde on December 26th. Everything was great – the food and the service were very nice and friendly. We'll be back!

The food was very good and plentiful. The price for the various dishes was absolutely fantastic. Two things you should bring: either a big appetite, or an empty Tupperware container. The in-house butcher shop speaks for itself. I'd gladly come again. Thank you.

We booked the side room for an event. The waitstaff came regularly, everything was perfect. The rooms are charmingly old-fashioned. The food was excellent, everyone loved it. We just had to clarify that carp should be served with Franconian flags. ;) A package of them is already on its way! We'd love to come back!

When we asked, we were told twice that he "hadn't gotten there yet." We were pointedly ignored and had to leave to find a friendlier restaurant. Such behavior is unacceptable for a restaurant with a good rating.

It was my first time eating at the Linde. My neighbor got a Sauerbraten, which looked very good, and the portion was generous. However, when my Sauerbraten arrived, I realized the portion was smaller. A small dumpling and three not-so-large slices of meat, and all for €16, plus salad. The salad was good. The meat was also good, but something wasn't quite right with the flavor. The clove flavor was a bit too strong. Bottom line, I've had better.

Country inn with a particularly beautiful beer garden. Delicious German food. The shashlik is especially worth trying. Other specialties you won't find anywhere else, such as baked liver, shashlik sausages, and sour lung, are also highly recommended. Had carp chips for the first time yesterday; they were absolutely delicious. I can only recommend them to everyone. Always friendly and fast service. Very good value for money. My wife and I come here at least once a week. :) We've been here with several friends, and they were all more than satisfied.

We ate there on May 14, 2025. I had a Cordon Bleu for 15.90 euros. It was the worst thing I have ever eaten. The breading was indefinable and tasteless, and the processed cheese was disgusting and didn't go with it. Emmenthaler would have been better. The salad was a budget version! Unbelievable for the price. We enjoyed eating here for decades, but not anymore. What a shame.

I have to admit, I've never had such a perfectly cooked pork roast before!!! The sauce is a culinary delight at its best! The accompanying salad rounded off the menu perfectly!!! The apple strudel is highly recommended for dessert. It's served with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, and it's delicious! The service is very, very friendly, but in character and not played, which extremely increases the hospitality and well-being. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the lovely evening!!!

We arrived at 1pm and asked for space for two people. The waitress snapped at us in a harsh tone: "No, nothing more!" We then left the inn even though there were still several tables and seats available. The sound makes the music. We won't come anymore.

Simple inn that has impressed us in the past with real home cooking. Unfortunately we were disappointed this time, half the duck was presented as two parts of the whole (leg and breast), the entire skin and the back part remained in the kitchen. One of the waitresses said that the two parts on the plate were the only thing you could eat from the duck anyway, the other understood the comments and bought a coffee to compensate. It should be clearly declared what you are offering, it doesn't work that way.

A classic pub, no frills with good food at reasonable prices. Beer garden available. Clearly, a recommendation. Unfortunately we weren't so happy today; some of the food reminded me of ready meals. Half of the farmer's duck was boneless, which wasn't on the menu, and the chicken schnitzel gave the impression of ready-made frozen goods - possibly due to the holidays.

For me it's the most beautiful ambience, as it's still one of the few cozy, no-frills restaurants! Here the guest is still king. I would like more of these places. The food is home-style, very tasty and you'll feel full. The service is unique, the staff are always friendly even when things get busy. The beautiful, quiet beer garden invites you to linger in the summer. It is and remains my favorite restaurant! I would recommend making a reservation in advance on weekends or public holidays, as it is always busy.

If you don't like the large, divisible hall with the old chairs and tables with plastic plant decorations, you'll probably have to go somewhere else... Reservations are recommended during typical peak times.

We celebrated our son's baptism at the Gasthaus zur Linde with 10 people. We were very happy with the food, everything tasted delicious. Everything came to the table freshly prepared and hot and no one had to wait. Our service was super friendly and tried very hard to respond to all requests immediately. Therefore 5 stars in both areas. We give 4 stars for the ambience because access with strollers and wheelchairs is not barrier-free. Overall, we were very satisfied and would love to come back in the future!

A Franconian inn as I wish. A huge menu. A little too much choice. Unfortunately, I saw the offer of chanterelles too late. I would have ordered otherwise. My beef roulade was also good. I know that there are no culinary offerings from star cuisine in these restaurants. I don't want to either. Franconian cuisine and it's good. Affordable on top of that, great.

Went for lunch and the guests at the long table next to us asked the waitress to please wash the table as there was still leftover food from previous visitors on the table. The waitress denied the request by saying that it was busy today and she didn't have time to clean the table and that the couple should sit at the other end of the table if it would bother them???!!! Service desert Germany!!!

Country inn with reasonable prices, plenty of choice and large portions. The ambience corresponds to a restaurant in the country, with a large dining room and a large side room. Not exactly cozy, but this is about food and it's simply fresh and delicious. Here you can also find the biggest and best bratwursts around!

I've never had better shish kebab.

We've been going to Pruppach for years, but today was unfortunately the last time. Ready-made potato salad to go with the schnitzel from the deep fryer, a side salad that tasted more like vinegar than sour cucumbers & lukewarm shish kebab and almost cold, hard fries that, according to my husband, could be used “as a nail for the wall”. Grumpy looking boss, no thanks. Only the service was really very friendly.

Food was edible, but not particularly good, the food came so quickly that one had to assume it was frozen food. A slice of processed cheese has no place in a corodn bleu. Most of the food at our table was only partially eaten, and no one was really satisfied. The rest, toilet and environment were good. But unsuitable for vegans and the vegetarian selection is more than modest.

Homemade brawn with music: the "music" only consisted of overly sour vinegar essence. The fried potatoes were a bit greasy, but ok. As starters we ordered two liver dumpling soups, both of which were only very lukewarm to cool.

Very nice German restaurant with regional cuisine, meat from our own production, the quality is very good, taste is good. Price / offer: Very good. Service very nice. The stay was very nice, great weather, quiet location, cozy beer garden.

Very good value for money. In addition to good regional food, you can also get a good supply of fresh and canned goods in the attached butcher's shop. Nice staff completes the whole thing.
