Gasthaus Zum Felsenkeller in Schotten

highly recommended small restaurant; Food very good, rich (the "Rahmschnitzel" with an extremely large and very fresh salad plate) and cheap; has its own charm and a very nice atmosphere;

The food was very tasty, first of all. Unfortunately, 2 points deducted because we were greeted with the words “it will take longer in the kitchen today” and this immediately gave us a negative feeling. We had made a special reservation, got there a few minutes early and didn't plan on eating in record time. Waiting time at the end was 40 minutes, which is completely acceptable. Nevertheless, the negative touch was simply there. The children's portion of noodles was also just ok. The sauce was diluted with water and didn't satisfy our 5 year old who isn't a huge eater. She then stole potatoes and vegetables from us to fill us up. When we then ordered espresso, we received an eye-rolling service with the words “but that will take a while”. As if we were disturbing. Very unfortunate.

Family-run inn, nice and friendly owners, delicious food, portions okay, price/performance also top. Would love to come back

Nice ambience in the vaulted cellar and the best pizza 🍕 in Schotten.

Very nice pizzaria in Schotten's old town. I can highly recommend pizzas and pasta.
