Very nice landlady and also the staff. Nice modern room. Great location and also good storage for your bike in the lockable garage. Landlady helped me out of an emergency. Thank you again for this!!!

Very nice family hotel. Freshly renovated tasteful furnishings. Very cozy restaurant, the staff is super friendly (Nicole;-). We had a salad that was very tasty and plentiful. 😋 Gladly again 👍

What can I say….. Room is super clean. Top. It's not small, it's very small. Not even a shelf for the suitcase. Unfortunately there is no breakfast here. Dinner is great. 👍🏻 Close the window in the room, very warm. Open the room window and set it up for food. Too bad Otherwise everyone here is very friendly and nice. To eat again and again. To sleep, don't think.

We were on our bike tour in Wemding and decided on the Gasthaus zum Bären for lunch. We didn't regret it. The food was very tasty. You don't often have the opportunity to eat a good home-style meal anymore. The side salad was also very tasty and the price was right We definitely liked the atmosphere in the heart of Wemding and we were served in a friendly and courteous manner. We felt very comfortable.

I also booked an overnight stay yesterday and everything was great. The rooms, the food, the short distance to the city and not forgetting the innkeepers themselves. So warm and helpful is rare. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Donauwörth

Very tastefully decorated restaurant. Good location directly on the Danube with plenty of parking options (Schwabenhallen car park). Short distances to the city. Food very varied and something for everyone. Price performance really top. Rooms very comfortable and everything you need is there. Result: Only recommended! 👍

Since I had also booked an overnight stay in this inn (about 3 weeks ago), I went to the restaurant for dinner in the late afternoon. I ordered the salmon fillet with rosemary potatoes and was absolutely happy with my choice. Despite the fact that the restaurant was busy that day, I received friendly service and didn't have to wait very long for my food. Good price/performance ratio - definitely recommended.

Very good in all categories, food excellent, atmosphere appealing, service perfect, location great and price absolutely right. There is something for everyone in the kitchen and individual wishes are catered for in the best possible way. Any time!

A beautiful dining room, the food was great and good value for money. Modern large room. We were cycling so we were only there for one night, but we'll definitely come back next time

When we arrive at the guest house, we can pay in cash, the most expensive room, breakfast is included in the price, but it is immediately indicated that breakfast is not delivered. No coffee, tea, etc. possible. Outrageous: either you charge a significantly lower price for the overnight stay or you ensure that there is an alternative that offers the least a cup of coffee or tea. The guest house is open until 10:00 PM for something to drink and eat. Until then, there is a lot of noise pollution from the entrance door with a closer that slams the door with a very loud bang every time. The CO2 detector beeped all night long; probably the battery was empty. Great location if you are passing through. The room was fantastic, but due to the complete absence of service and breakfast, the price/quality ratio is not okay. The distance from the train station is perfect. Only a 5 minute walk.

Super, super delicious food, atmosphere A1, rooms absolutely beautiful, our visit from northern Germany was blown away, service staff so accommodating, friendly, great class. Parking right in front of the door, super modern furnishings in mountain hut style. Owner super friendly, attentive and very personable. No matter what food was served, everything looked very appetizing. The beef fillet on a hot stone is highly recommended, but the burgers, schnitzel and salmon fillet were also very tasty. I can highly recommend it!

I can't rate the room, reservation is mandatory. Otherwise great

We were traveling in the motorhome and “just” wanted to get something to eat. It then became an absolute experience. If you haven't eaten there yet, you've missed something in our opinion! Lovely again……! 👍👍😊

I was able to enjoy the patented BRIZZA© ALA ITALIA today before it is officially presented to the whole world. A delight for the palate! The taste connects Italy and Bavaria at the same time. The inventive spirit is in your genes Melanie & Klaus-Stefan. Pretzel dough in pizza 🍕 shape, a unique taste only in Gasthaus zum Bären, you definitely have to try it.

Ich habe mir spontan dort etwas zu Essen geholt. Obwohl das Restaurant sehr voll war, war der Service sehr freundlich und schnell. Meine Currywurst kam in angemessener Zeit (für die Anzahl an Personen sogar schnell), war gut eingepackt und super lecker. Ich werde dort bestimmt mal ordentlich Essen gehen, denn es wirkte gemütlich. Parkplätze sind auch zahlreich vorhanden.

Tolle Location mit sympathischer Chefin Melli - Sie hat alles 1a im Griff. Trotz Missverständnis (hatten eine Stunde zu früh reserviert) hat alles geklappt. Perfekt & ohne Einschränkungen weiter zu empfehlen. Davon braucht Donauwörth mehr!

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, bequemes Bett, neu eingerichtet - schön. Sehr freundliches Personal. Am Wochenende ruhig gelegen und direkt an der Donau. Schade, dass es kein Frühstück gab (Personalmangel), dafür einen Stern Abzug.

Am 03.11.23 habe ich im Gasthaus zum Bären eine Feier mit ca. 50 Personen veranstaltet. Die Absprache und Organisation verlief problemlos, die Veranstalterwünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Die Vereinbarungen wurden sehr gut umgesetzt, das Personal war sehr behilflich und der Kontakt angenehm. Die Rückmeldung der Gäste zum Essen (Roulade, Schweinebraten, Zwiebelrostbraten, Burger) waren zahlreich und ausschließlich und betont positiv. Ebenso wurde das Ambiente gelobt. Zu den Zimmern kann ich keine Auskunft erteilen. Das Bären-Team hat einen sehr schönen Abend ermöglicht, bei dem (soweit bekannt) alle Gäste mehr als zufrieden waren. Vielen Dank an Melli und ihr Team für den einwandfreien Abend!

Sind mit einer großen Gesellschaft im Biergarten von der sehr freundlichen Bedienung schnell und gut bewirtet worden. Die großen Portionen haben sehr gut geschmeckt und der Preis war angemessen.

Sehr schöner Flair draußen im Außenbereich mit sehr freundlichen Service. In fußläufiger Nähe befinden sich auch ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preis-Leistung war auch angemessen. Nur leider gab es nicht passend zur Saison eine Tageskarte mit Pilzgerichten. Für eine dt. Gastwirtschaft schon ein Muss, deshalb ein Stern Abzug.

Meine Buchung musste wg. haustechnischen Problemen storniert werden. Das Hotel hat sich aber toll gekümmert und eine super Alternative gefunden. Die Mitarbeiterin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
