Gasthaus Warsteiner in Datteln

Totally likeable pub, with very friendly operators and a good crowd.

The “Gasthaus am Hötting” is highly recommended. The food is of very high quality, nothing canned, everything is freshly prepared. The schnitzels are from the pan and not fried, very tasty.😋👍 The fried potatoes are made from fresh jacket potatoes, simply delicious and last but not least, the host couple are very friendly, although "He" is a trained butcher and the cook there and knows his craft very well. There are of course other dishes besides the schnitzels, but I haven't tried them yet. But I'm assuming that they taste just as good as the schnitzels. Stop by once and you won't regret it, I promise.😋👍

Needless to say, none of the baguettes were delivered. The man on the phone said he would send us Coke and fries, but they didn't even bring us the entire order. There was mold (green) on the bread and it was absolutely terrible food.

Cute and cozy restaurant! Everyone is really welcome here. The service and food are great! The location is also super adaptable for any upcoming event.
