Unfortunately, disappointing – not like it used to be. We visited a restaurant for the first time in a long time and sat down in the busy beer garden. Unfortunately, the server was somewhat unfriendly and abrupt. Our Lillet came without ice cubes, with cardboard tubes – and the taste was distinctly lacking. The familiar salad has changed dramatically: The red cabbage is missing, replaced by canned corn. The carrot salad and what used to be my favorite potato salad no longer tasted the same – apparently, a different recipe. The small portion of fish is really very small. The fries were too salty and sometimes undercooked. Unfortunately, not much of the former fair price-performance ratio and taste remains. A real shame. ☹️

Delicious food, a friendly welcome, and a zander with potato salad. It doesn't get any better than that.

The pike-perch fillet was very good. A small potato salad for 6 euros was outrageously expensive.

It hasn't been there for a long time, sometime when the bridges were replaced. Prices have gone up a bit, but the fish is just as tasty as before. Even some of the same staff as back then. Always worth a visit. Reservations not possible! Possibly for very large celebrations....

Locally closed for holidays. Unfortunately, this is not communicated online. The journey (80 km there and back) was free! Thanks for nothing!

We've known the restaurant since I was 7 (now 52). We hadn't been there for a while for good reasons and wanted to see if things had improved. We had to wait almost 15 minutes for a table to be free - just like 40 years ago. Conclusion in advance: It's not what it used to be. No whole zander, no fried fish, they NEVER had that combination back then. The schnitzel with fries costs €17.40, tastes okay, but smaller than a senior citizen's portion. They no longer serve the gypsy schnitzel, which used to be the highlight for anyone who didn't like fish. Back then, the schnitzel was as big as the plate. The wine sauce for the zander is different than it used to be; not bad, but not what it used to be. My freshly tapped wheat beer sat on the counter until it had no more foam. Our waitress saw the wheat beer, but decided to spend more than five minutes on his phone...

The atmosphere is nothing special. We ordered potato salad. It came with bacon. This wasn't on the menu. Too bad for vegetarians. We also had two mixed salads, although we had actually only ordered one. The salad was covered in dressing. I haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. Service was very friendly. I wouldn't eat here again.

The two of us ate fish today! Food is poor underground, prices are high above ground, a small 0.2 liter coke costs €2.90 Large salad plate €11.50 a disgrace for German gastronomy the cheapest of the cheap only white cabbage/carrots/radish potato salad only liquid mud never again not recommended! You should try your own food yourself and all for €65.00 The price-performance ratio is terribly bad! There are better fish restaurants!

Today I had another excellent whole trout with potato salad and a salmon trout fillet with mixed salad. The staff was also very friendly. Simply the best fish restaurant for miles around.

Consistent quality for decades. You know what you're getting and you won't be disappointed.

Wir kommen seit Jahrzehnten gerne zum essen hierher (meine Eltern sogar seit den 70igern). Die Preise sind sehr gestiegen, ist aber zeitgemäß normal. Für diese Qualität kommen wir nach wie vor sehr gerne zum Fisch essen. Von der Suppe angefangen, Salat und bis zur Hauptspeise, alles lecker ! Natürlich muss man Fisch mögen ;)

Das Fischrestaurant überhaupt! Sehr freundliches Personal, faire Preise und wohlschmeckendes Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Die Empfehlung!!!
