Gasthaus und Pension "Ex" in Mirow

The visit was a complete waste of time. A meal that cost €22 was a total disaster. And it wasn't difficult to make a mess of. Grilled chicken breast with fries instead of rosemary potatoes. It was supposed to have herb butter. The result: the fries never arrived because the fryer wasn't hot enough. Then, after I canceled them, I was told I had to take them with me. They were apparently out of herb butter. There certainly wasn't any on my plate. The rosemary potatoes never even saw rosemary... A tuna pizza, however, was apparently delicious.

We went there for lunch. The service was friendly. Ordering went smoothly. The food arrived promptly, even though the restaurant was busy. The portions were generous and the food tasted delicious. The pizzas were a good size. The price-performance ratio is excellent. We'll be back.

We'd gladly come again. The large dining room takes some getting used to. (Perhaps a few room dividers would be helpful). However, the quality of the food and service was excellent. The restrooms were tidy and clean. The prices were reasonable. We highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, the meal was a complete disaster. There were five of us, and the pizza arrived 30 minutes before the other meals, so the kids finished before everyone else. The lasagna was completely cold inside, the pork medallions were completely raw, and the rosemary potatoes had never seen rosemary in their entire lives. Everything was very bland and unseasoned. For almost €100, I expect something different. After speaking to them and complaining, they didn't even apologize.

My wife and I ate there for lunch in October 2025. The service was very friendly and not at all pushy or inattentive. The roll before it, the salad, and especially the main course, Argentinian beef steak, all tasted very, very good. We were completely satisfied, and the price wasn't excessive either; in fact, it's even reasonable compared to other places. The quality was impressive.

We've eaten there three times in the last nine days. Friendly, unobtrusive staff (sometimes even held the door open for us), and the pizzas and pasta were just what we wanted. These are the main reasons why we returned two more times. The food was accompanied by Italian music. We'd love to come back!

Food mega, decoration a matter of taste

My wife and I happened to be passing by. We were treated very kindly. The food was served very quickly, was plentiful, and tasted delicious. We were impressed by the grappa served in a glass of hot, flavored water. This enhanced the aroma of the grappa even more. A very well-kept restaurant with truly attentive and courteous staff. We will be back on our next visit.

During our short stay in Granzow, we happened upon this restaurant while passing through. The service was super friendly and accommodating. The food (Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Italian style!!, and a pizza calzone) arrived in less than 15 minutes. The delicious bruschetta was a hit. After the hearty meal, we enjoyed a wonderful grappa, served in a glass with hot water and raspberry flavor – a very special treat. All the staff were very nice. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back on our next visit.

Four of us spontaneously stopped by and had a great time. The food was delicious, the service attentive, and the value for money was good for the region.

August 21, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., we were vacationing with friends and wanted to have dinner there. A friendly waitress greeted us and allowed us to choose a nice table. After half an hour, I asked the chef if we could order drinks, but the rest of the staff were nowhere to be seen! Even the chef was perplexed. He asked the following guests to leave. After some of the drinks were brought, we decided to go along. Thanks to the lovely chef for the free drinks!

We waited an hour and a half for our food on a weekday, even though it wasn't overly busy. The atmosphere was completely unprofessional, and the stress at our table was disruptive. Tables weren't cleared either, even though the guests had been gone for over an hour, and she kept walking past them empty-handed. The food was very tasty, but we won't be back.

Unfortunately you started with a minus point. We originally wanted to eat somewhere else, but you absolutely convinced us. The food was great, the service was really great, everything was absolutely top-notch, I can only recommend it.

Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster for me. We ordered by phone around 6:00 PM for pickup, 18 dishes in total. Yes, that's quite a lot, and I'm taking that into account here. We were told on the phone that we could pick up between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. No problem. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:50 PM, and the first time I was told to wait another 30 minutes. Still no problem for me. Almost all the tables outside were occupied, and there were 2-3 more inside. I got there again around 8:30 PM. It was even longer than the 30-minute delay. "Unfortunately, only half is ready." After another 5 minutes, I asked the waitress to please bring me the first half. I also paid for everything immediately. I just want to leave with the first half and hope there's something for the 8 children who are calling for pizza at our accommodation. And that's when the farce really began. The waitress said, "I'll let the kitchen know." 15 minutes later, I still didn't have the "first half" in my hand. By now it was already around 9 p.m. Shortly after 9 p.m., I said, "I want to leave here. Please give me everything that's ready now. It should just be in the kitchen. Anything that isn't ready will be canceled." The waitress confirmed this. Even then, it took about another 15 minutes until everything "that was ready" was in front of me. 3 pizzas and 2 focaccias weren't ready. The way we were lied to here, saying "half was already ready," is simply outrageous. At that point, I could have called two other restaurants and ordered something else. But instead of communicating properly, we were just put off and put off. "Sorry, we can't make it today" – no problem at all. We'll just find something else. But it was terrible as it was. In the end, we even had to pay full price (only for the finished product, of course). The meal itself was good.

A very warm, attentive, and child-friendly welcome and service. The food and drinks were brought and served promptly. Everything was delicious, and we were asked regularly if we wanted anything else. Lollipops were given to the children as a farewell gift. We'll definitely be back on our next visit home. Excellent value for money.

Warm service & great food – even with a full house! Despite the restaurant being completely full, our takeaway order for 14 people was received with a smile. During an extended weekend in the region, we went to this restaurant twice. The food was very tasty. We found the Vitello Tomato starter particularly tasty. On our first visit the restaurant was very full and the service was very busy, but was still attentive and courteous. If we are in the region again, we would definitely visit the restaurant again.

A visit to “Ex” is always a culinary experience for us. we give 100 points and all thumbs point up. Hospitality is very important, the cuisine is fantastic, value for money is great. We always feel very comfortable there. The service is very friendly and attentive. We also like that an Italian restaurant plays Italian music and not just anything. We will come back and recommend you.

Food is good, but sometimes you have to wait a bit.

Waited twice for over an hour for food even though the restaurant wasn't particularly full. On the first visit, the calamari was as tough as rubber and the fries instead of potatoes that were ordered as a side dish with the schnitzel were unfortunately not served. On the second visit, the food was almost cold when it was finally at the table. We won't go there a third time...

I was initially unsure from the outside, but was immediately surprised on the inside. Everything seemed cozy and yet chic. The food is very tasty, even though they have now switched to Italian cuisine. You can also sit comfortably outside on the terrace and even have a view of your car in the adjacent parking lot.

The food was very good. Unfortunately, my request for a supplement change has been forgotten. It still tasted very good. The staff is very friendly and on point. Many thanks There are also sufficient parking spaces available. Which wasn't all that pleasant. If the door to the kitchen is left open for a long time, the room quickly becomes "smoky" and there is a blue haze in the room.

Sehr nette Bedienung, das essen war sehr lecker und man hatte eine gute Atmosphäre. Das das Lokal erst wieder neu im aufbau ist hat es etwas länger gedauert als normal das essen zu bekommen. Doch wurde durch eine lustige Bedienung und ein Geschenk aufs Haus das alles so gut wieder raus geholt das man das gar nicht bemerkt hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Absolutely recommended. If you want to get a decent portion for your money, this is the right place for you. The boss's suckling pig was an absolute culinary delight today. Of course there was also something for the wife and child, and the dog was allowed in too. 👍

It's just a shame that this restaurant is only open for registered celebrations...

Hatten einen prima Brunch mit einer guten Auswahl an kalten und warmen Gerichten. Aufmerksamer Service.

Die Teller sind groß und voll. Der Laden liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und ist nach meinem Geschmack etwas lieblos und altbacken eingerichtet. Wer üppige Hausmannskost liebt, wir hier vielleicht eine andere Bewertung schreiben.

Das Essen ist nicht mehr so gut wie bei den Vorbesitzern, hat in der Qualität sehr nach gelassen. Einige Speisen sind nicht mehr auf der Karte. Das Gericht was ich bestellt habe (Zanderfilet) war TK Ware. Das geht gar nicht, der See liegt vor der Tür. Ich werde dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen, es auch keinem Empfehlen!!

Essen war gut. Leider war das Schokoladensoufflé zu durch und nur noch ein Kuchen ohne flüssigen Kern. Personal sehr nett. Leider wirkt das Lokal sehr kühl

Wir haben dort sehr gut gegessen. Es gibt leckere Gerichte aus einer gutbürgerlichen Küche ohne unnötigen Firlefanz. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Die Service Mädels sind super nett 👍🏻 das Essen schmeckt, aber die Portionen könnten für den üppigen Preis größer sein. Hübsch angerichtet aber auf Teller :-) Ärgerlich: man erwartet -wie früher oder üblich- einen Beilagensalat oder „Gruß aus der Küche“ leider nix. Meine Pfeffersauce zum Schweinefilet war nur ne angedickte Bratensauce ohne Pfeffer und auch nicht wirklich passend dazu. Für ne Kneipe zu teuer - eher Touri-Nap Schade auch, dass Pilze aus der Dose :-( und der Riesling 0,2l für 5,10€ muss schon ein besonderer Jahrgang sein für den happigen Betrag

Sehr netter und schneller Service, mega leckeres Essen, keine lange Wartezeit. Die Speisen sind jeden Cent Wert. Wir waren bereits das 3x in verschiedenen Jahren Gäste. Es war wir immer: EMPFEHLENSWERT.

Also das geht garnicht! Wir sind zu dritt dort gewesen und es war total daneben. So einen unorganisierten Laden hab ich noch nicht erlebt. Man wies uns eine Tisch zu und dann warteten wir schon mal eine Dreiviertelstunde auf eine Speisekarte. Getränke gab es in dieser Zeit auch nicht. Dann, endlich kam die Bedienung mit der Speisekarte und fragte schließlich auch danach was wir zu trinken möchten. Erneut verging eine halbe Stunde bis das Essen bestellt werden konnte und noch einmal eine weitere Dreiviertelstunde bis es dann endlich serviert wurde. In dieser Zeit rannte das Personal herum wie ein aufgescheuchter Hühnerhaufen. Das Essen selbst war in okay, es war Hausmannskost ohne Mängel. Der Preis allerdings war wiederum geschmolzen für das was auf den Tisch gekommen ist - einfach viel zu teuer. Wenn sie eines gelernt haben in der Müritz-Seenplatte-Region, dann ist das wie man die Touristen ordentlich schröpft! Wir haben beschlossen dort keinen Urlaub mehr zu machen!!!!!

Sehr großer Raum, wenig Besuch im November. Wir haben beide die Entenbrust mit Klößen und Rotkraut genießen dürfen. Ich war begeistert. Mein Partner hätte sich die Haut etwas knuspriger gewünscht.

Wir waren zu einem Anlass ( Geburstag) Mittag Essen & wurden nicht enttäuscht! Gegessen haben wir Steak mit Letscho! Und sehr viel drauf gehabt . Vorher gab es ( in Preis mit drinne) Häppchen - Brot mit Dip!! Toll.. Auch die gaststätte macht eine freundlichen, netten Eindruck & vorallem sauber.. Auch die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Diese Gaststätte sehr empfehlenswert.

Zu empfehlen für das schnelle Urlaubsabendessen mit der Familie. Längst nicht alles frisch gemacht (Karotten-, Kraut- und Bohnensalat z.B. aus der Dose). Auch die Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße ist nicht besonders romantisch. Trotzdem: Lecker war's. Ordentliches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Arrivé à 5 vers 21h un mardi, l'accueil était chaleureux. Nous nous sommes installés sur la terrasse, certes pas romantique ni avec vue sur le lac mais calme et spacieux. Nous avons tous bien mangé, salade à l'entrée et pour la suite à la carte des escalopes ou du poisson (l'assiette de 3 poissons est une réussite !); portons copieuses comme c'est la tradition en Allemagne. Très bonne relation qualité / prix. Un seul bémol : les "Bratkartoffeln" étaient trop gras. On recommande si vous cherchez pour un prix raisonnable une qualité acceptable.
