We had dinner there last night with our children, and we all really enjoyed it! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and professional! The food and drinks (besides water, we had a rhubarb spritz and a Braumeister beer) were consistently fantastic, and everyone was truly satisfied! The surroundings are lovely, and it's a great place to hang out :-) Definitely worth a visit!

We were just there for dinner, which was served very quickly, freshly prepared, and in generous portions. It was delicious, of course. A very nice location with friendly and polite service.

We highly recommend this restaurant; we ate there twice and were delighted. The portions are generous and the value for money is good. The service is very friendly and attentive. You can sit on the terrace, but you should make a reservation in advance for the restaurant (inside).

I'm only reviewing the restaurant at the Alte Schlossbrauerei (Old Castle Brewery), where we ate as non-hotel guests after visiting Mirow Castle. The food is well-crafted, but the value for money isn't right. The only positive aspect is the old master builder's own beer. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the restaurant, although you can certainly end the day in style on the restaurant's own lakeside terrace after a visit to Mirow Castle.

We've been to this restaurant a few times, and it's always been mostly good. What bothers me most, however, is the inflexibility with requests for substitutions. In my opinion, it should be easy to order a chicken schnitzel instead of a pork schnitzel (of course, there's an extra charge for the substitution). There are numerous pork schnitzel dishes with all kinds of sauces, and only one "dry" chicken schnitzel with no sauce at all on this site. The fact is, not everyone wants, can, or is allowed to eat pork, and it shouldn't be a problem to have it changed. It's always been possible in other restaurants, but here they always say it's not possible. That should definitely be changed. Otherwise, the location is great, and the value for money is appropriate given the current situation.

We were back at the Hotel Alte Schlossbrauerei in Mirow at Easter. The hotel has a great location right on the lake, has its own jetty and we were also able to get on the excursion boats of the Blau Weisse Flotte directly at the hotel's own jetty. The hotel is very neatly organized, the rooms are clean and stylishly furnished. The ladies at reception helped us with all of our questions and were even happy to reserve places on the excursion boat for us. The breakfast buffet is set up in a vaulted room and leaves nothing to be desired. The restaurant is very good, the service staff are very attentive and the menu is very well coordinated. Especially now on the first sunny days we enjoyed coffee and cake in the beer garden right by the lake and of course enjoyed the sunset with a decent beer from the brewery! We were there to eat, but had to sit in the beer garden because dogs weren't allowed in the restaurant. The food was okay, the service good.

It's going ok. Fantastically located, according to the service, it's not possible to push tables together to create a table outside that's suitable for the company... STRANGE. We would have moved and of course moved back to our regular spot. You can no longer get coffee after 9 p.m. because that's when the machine takes its legally mandated break. UNUSUAL The prices for salad (profit margin) or a farmer's breakfast are pure madness, but result from the greed of not being left behind others, even though you don't have gourmet cuisine, but a unique selling point due to the lack of competition. Too bad. During the asparagus season, the healthy vegetables were sold out at 8:30 p.m.... Without words. Expensive and strange outweighs beautiful.

A very nice restaurant with very good service (lars 45😉, the eternal 25-year-old😉, and Stefan at the bar 😉 gave us a very nice evening, the food was very good, a small minus point they were really quick with the food. We would like to come back.

Yesterday, as repeat offenders, we were full of anticipation about visiting the restaurant. In May last year we had a wonderful meal on the terrace, which is of course not possible now in January. Unfortunately, this time we were informed right at the entrance to the restaurant that dogs were not welcome because of our little Havanese dog. Really incomprehensible in these times, when there are no strong sales times in winter. This restaurant should think about it. We then fortified ourselves at the beach hotel in Mirow.

Went to the restaurant this weekend with a large group of people. The service was funny and attentive, the food was great, the location was cozy, everyone was completely satisfied.

I rate the restaurant here: The experience that my family and I had is consistently worth 5 stars. The service is very friendly and pleasant. The food is excellent and delivered quickly. The ambience inside is magical and sitting outside gives me a great view of the lake. You won't be disturbed by loud music while you eat. The other guests could also only be heard quietly due to sophisticated acoustics. We will be back - next time in the summer! Definitely a recommendation and for us it was worth the slightly longer journey. :)

We went to the Schlossbrauerei as a family for dinner. The service was quick, friendly, and extremely attentive. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food was delicious. All in all, it was a lovely evening and we would definitely recommend it.

I stopped here for lunch with a friend on December 7th, 2024. We didn't have a reservation, but there was still a place for us. The whole ambience with the warm light and the Christmas-decorated tables invited you to linger for a long time. As always, the service was polite and courteous, but not intrusive. To match the mood, I had the duck breast with dumplings and red cabbage and for dessert a piece of apple strudel with a scoop of ice cream and vanilla sauce. As always, the food was perfectly prepared and extremely tasty. We will definitely come back. Thank you for this beautiful moment.

My rating only refers to the restaurant. We were passing through and decided on the Alte Schlossbrauerei for lunch and were very impressed. A great atmosphere paired with a really friendly staff. A nice weekend can be turned into a highlight with a good meal in wonderful surroundings. We (4) from Western Pomerania are guests in the restaurant of the Mirow Castle Brewery in one of the most beautiful holiday areas in the country. In order to leave nothing to chance, of course we have reserved! Parking the car and taking a short walk towards the castle brewery, we enter the venerable old brewery, i.e. the restaurant, for the first time. We are amazed at the ambience of the vaulted cellar or old hangar, regardless of whether we like the diffuse light with the hundreds of swing-top bottles on the walls. We are welcomed by a very nice young specialist with a smile that lasts the whole evening. We are enthusiastic about the young lady who apparently comes from Vietnam, so the smile is practically innate! And then everything gets going very quickly, sitting down, getting a menu, ordering drinks and food. All in good timing, we continue to enjoy ourselves, probably lucky because there aren't very many guests on site at 6 p.m. There is no need to pause - the food is served quickly and very hot. First I get my Solianka, very tasty and reminiscent of old times. Hardly eaten, the other main courses arrive: beef roulade, fried cod fillet and a castle plate for 2 people with different types of meat, mushrooms, gypsy sauce, baked potatoes with dip and salad. Oh dear, that's a huge portion and we're eagerly fighting our way through the menu, everyone!! Every now and then the smiling colleague from the serving trade comes by and asks what we want and whether it tastes good and similar sentences. We are just very satisfied and continue to draw circles on our plates. In between, the ladies enjoy a tasty red wine and the men enjoy a beer from the house brewer with a slightly fruity taste and yet a slightly bitter taste. But everything fits perfectly and everything comes to a good conclusion. We sit for a long time and let everything take effect on us. After paying, we make our way home and take a short walk to talk about the past time in the restaurant. Everyone present gives the restaurant five stars because we had so much fun being guests here from the first to the last minute. Thanks! P.S. ... haben wir uns einen Tisch in der Alten Schloßbrauerei reserviert. Wir kamen in ein uriges Lokal, das im Gewölbekeller der ehemaligen Brauerei untergebracht ist. Im Hauptraum fühlten wir uns wohl und die Tische waren auch nicht zu eng gestellt. Zusätzlich zur normalen Karte gab es noch ein Tagesgericht, das der Kellner uns mündlich vorgestellt hat. Wir haben uns dann aber für Buletten und einen Grillteller entschieden. Das war auch die richtige Wahl, weil beides sehr lecker war. Besonders erwähnt werden müssen die tollen Pommes – so gut hatten wir schon lange keine mehr. Die Portionen waren auch sehr gut, preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Allerdings finden wir es nicht ok, dass für die Verpackung des Rests, den wir mitnehmen wollten, ein Preis verlangt wird. So etwas sollte aufpreisfrei sein, zumal es diese Verpackung nicht gebraucht hätte.

On multiple recommendations... ... we reserved a table in the Alte Schloßbrauerei. Therefore we rate the food, we did not visit the hotel. We came to a rustic restaurant that is housed in the vaulted cellar of the former brewery. We felt comfortable in the main room and the tables weren't too crowded. In addition to the normal menu, there was a daily special that the waiter introduced to us orally. But then we decided on meatballs and a grilled plate. That was the right choice because both were very tasty. Special mention must be made of the great fries - we haven't had anything this good in a long time. The portions were also very good and the price was completely reasonable. However, we don't think it's okay that a price is charged for the packaging of the rest that we wanted to take with us. Something like this should be free of charge, especially since it wouldn't have needed this packaging.

We ate in the restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant in the beautiful autumn weather. The food was really tasty - everything from solyanka, cod, schnitzel and farmer's breakfast was there. On average 20€ per person with main course & drinks.

In Mirow there is a place, You don't really want to leave there. It is called the “castle brewery”. Whoever was here never ran away. The food you receive of course cost some money. They are wonderfully prepared. The professional chef is a star. The service is friendly and humorous. You never feel like a stranger here. The “Saturday Magic Party Show” is a highlight with fun and class. The conclusion is therefore: Visit Mirow. A pleasure. There are all sorts of things to see. You have to go there. Come join us. A lot of effort is made to justify the price for the night. But if you consider that breakfast costs 16 euros per person, you can't avoid a few critical words. Four types of cheap sausage and a rather bland, sticky powdered scrambled egg, along with the usual cereals, are a bit poor. A label on the good salads would be helpful. Finally, once again a big and well-deserved compliment to all employees. Apart from the small breakfast criticism, everything is in good hands here. Saturday evening was great and recommended.

We have become regular visitors. Eating delicious food in a nice atmosphere, having conversations, surrounded by attentive staff and enjoying, all of this is possible here. We can only recommend that you see for yourself, an absolute tip.

Really great restaurant in a beautiful atmosphere, summer and winter. Extremely friendly staff and a great menu make a visit something special. There is even a boat dock in front of the restaurant (not overnight) if you want to come by boat for a schnitzel. Just great. We didn't stay overnight here. But who knows, maybe someday. Thank you for the always beautiful moments!

And we did it again and had dinner at the Alte Schlossbrauerei in 2024... And what can I say, just like the 3 years before, it was just great. The regular staff is still there... Really strong. A really nice hotel, rooms are big enough and clean. The location of this hotel is very nice and there are shopping opportunities nearby. The restaurant is very good, the service is very friendly and doesn't talk too much. The only negative thing is that the kitchen gets delivery at 3:00 a.m. and something is cleared out at 6:00 a.m. so it gets very loud. So it's best to book early if you're facing the lake or to the right of the kitchen. But well, we felt comfortable.

Leider ein Reinfall. Wir sind im Urlaub in der Region. Aber in dem Restaurant sind Hunde nicht willkommen. Für uns unverständlich. Die Region lebt vom Tourismus (Ferien Anlagen, Ferienhäuser etc.) Wo unserer Hund nicht mitdarf, gehen wir nicht hin.

The terrace was full, but we were greeted quickly and very nicely by the service staff and our order was taken. The food was, as always, very tasty :) and freshly prepared. We were “taken care of” and advised very well by the service the entire time. A big compliment to the kitchen and the service. We'd love to come back... :)

We were on a weekend trip in Mirow one day and spontaneously stopped at the restaurant. We were greeted very friendly and took a seat on the terrace. The location and view of the lake is fantastic. The menu is beautifully designed and offers something for every taste. We chose risotto with mushrooms and Mecklenburg rib roast (took it without red cabbage, with more sauce), it was simply delicious. The restaurant makes a very clean impression and the service staff are trained professionals. You notice this immediately in the way you interact with the guests. They are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. We still have a few days of vacation in September and booked there immediately. We look forward to the days ahead. The Stralsunds

We wanted to go to the restaurant. The ladies at reception clearly pointed out where the stroller had to be in the foyer. There was no greeting in the restaurant and on the terrace the waitress "took care" of 5 other tables instead of at least greeting us or offering a child's chair. When the next table also said: "I ordered a coke 15 minutes ago, but now I want to pay" we turned our backs on the location. By the way: The castle brewery does not brew beer...

I went to the restaurant, the food and the waiter service was very good. But I was in the bathroom using the hand dryer and the receptionist young with the short hair came and hit me with the door when she opened it, she never said “sorry”, she came to disconnect the hand dryer and only told me “caput”. She doesn’t speak any english and she was very rude. That can’t happen in a hotel.
