We came here for dinner. We called at 5:30 p.m., reserved a table, and were greeted warmly at 6:15 p.m. The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sauce, salad, and potato wedges were also delicious. The chef and his staff were very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Restaurant unfortunately only open on weekends, unfortunately found opening hours online, went there in vain.

I went there for dinner with my wife. I had ordered a roulade, and she had ordered tagliatelle with pumpkin pieces. My roulade was more like a taco, so it was miles away from being wrapped. But how could it be when the piece of meat had obviously been pounded twice with the flat of the hand? Inside was a huge piece of carrot and two fat strips of bacon, as well as a godless onion ring. I completely missed the pickles. The meat was also as dry as a handful of sand, and the seasonless, reheated sauce, which had more the consistency of potato soup, didn't do much to correct it. The red cabbage didn't do anything for me either, but that might be a matter of taste. I think there was just too much clove in it. The infamous Thuringian dumplings would turn in their graves if they saw these two mashed dumplings that had probably been sitting in the fridge for weeks, let alone had to eat them. My wife thought they were fine, which is probably because she hadn't tried the rest first. She said her food was okay. The only problem was that they didn't bring a spoon, even though it was tagliatelle, and the sauce was very watery. We skipped dessert; I just wanted to pay and get out of there. The service was nice, but they didn't ask if everything was okay...and to charge a total of €49 for it is a disgrace.

Quick and uncomplicated, we came with 18 people and were well served.

Located in the heart of the city, yet very close to the beautiful spa gardens. The rooms are clean and pleasantly furnished. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly adequate. Our dog was very welcome, and we were able to park our bikes safely in the courtyard. We immediately reserved a table for the evening and were rewarded with fabulous food. Very friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere.

Very nice, rustic atmosphere. Great service. The menu is very meat-heavy and the portions are very large. There is only one, purely vegetarian dish. Due to the good reviews, we chose this restaurant and reserved seats. We were placed in a side room where a large group (it felt like 100 people based on the volume) had already taken their seats. With this noise it was impossible to have a conversation at the table. We ate quickly so we could leave the restaurant quickly. One should consider accommodating such larger companies separately. Other guests present also found this background noise very unpleasant. The food was tasty, but mine wasn't. The chicken breast wasn't cooked through and the spinach was still cold and lay in a lump on the plate.

The landscape is very beautiful. You can go for a nice walk and relax. We really like the thermal baths. The food in the hotel is great and exceptional, but it tastes good. Service is helpful and nice. We always enjoy coming here.

Rustic Thuringian hospitality and local cuisine right in the center of Bad Sulza with a beautiful beer garden in the courtyard. Free choice of seating in the early evening and very friendly service. In addition to local beer, the selection of wines from the region is also very nice. You can hear the schnitzel you ordered being freshly made. Still a relatively short waiting time. The food was also very tasty, only the seasoning was a bit sparing, but whatever, salt and pepper are on the table. Prices adjusted to the current situation, but still okay.

Tasty local fare, but you need to get there early if you want to have dinner (kitchen closes at 8pm!). We had dinner there on a Friday night and were unable to have a conversation at our table due to a very lively local party enjoying dinner and drinks and phone calls at another table nearby.

We spontaneously ate here today, as we were passing through. A rustic inn with a good selection of delicious food. Fish, meat, vegetarian...you'll definitely find what you're looking for! There was also a nice selection of asparagus dishes. Service was very quick and helpful.. Our starter was a salad of white and green asparagus marinated with arugula and strawberries. It tasted good, but we missed the green asparagus and unfortunately the ruccola was a bit crunchy in our teeth. When we asked where the green asparagus was, the waitress had to ask and then explained to us that it had not been delivered. Clear communication gap between service and kitchen. Of course we would have liked to have had the information beforehand. Both of our main courses were very good. Rump steak and roast meat. Visually really great. The meat was cooked great...but the lamb's lettuce wasn't cleaned properly, I still had to remove the sandy roots and the lettuce with a good dressing was unfortunately cut so roughly that I had very large pieces of pepper and cucumber, which was also the case with the starter salad. ...somehow I was missing a bit of love here...

We visited the Gasthaus Stadt Bad Sulza to have lunch and we can only warmly recommend the inn. The dining room has a very cozy, middle-class atmosphere with chic details. The menu is very appealing and the food tasted excellent. The prices are reasonable, the employees were very attentive and friendly.

Very nice hosts, our dogs were warmly welcomed, even with treats and water. The food tasted great and we were completely satisfied. All tables were occupied and yet things went quickly, the cooking and service is done with love here. We would love to come back and can only recommend this restaurant.

Immer wenn wir zum Kurzurlaub im Hotel an der Therme sind kehren wir hier ein und essen zu Abend. Das Essen ist von hervorragender Qualität, die Wirtsleute sind herzlich, die Preise sind angemessen. Letzte Woche hatten wir Glück, das Restaurant öffnete an unserem letzten Urlaubstag, man hatte wegen eigenen Urlaub ein paar Tage geschlossen. Der Besuch hat sich gelohnt, es gab Zanderfilet und Rumpsteak. Einen Besuch im Gasthaus Bad Sulza können wir guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Danke nochmals an die Wirtsleute, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We went there because of the good reviews. We didn't feel particularly welcome. Overall, the food was disappointing. When the menu is so small, the food definitely has to be freshly made. The potato pancakes and pancakes for the kids were warmed up. It's better to make it 2 euros more expensive and prepare it fresh. The tarte flambée was ok.

Went for lunch and coffee afterwards as we were celebrating our birthday. Really very good German cuisine, everything was very tasty. The service was very friendly and accommodating, we didn't have to wait long. We will definitely come back👌🏻

Wir waren als Familie zu den Weihnachtsfeiertagen zum Brunch. Wirklich ausreichend Essen und Auswahl. Auch die Kids sind satt geworden. Sehr nette Bedienung.

Ein kleines, wunderschönes Gasthaus mit einem sehr sehr netten Personal. Herr Frass ist ein sehr netter arrangierten Chef, der jeden Wunsch der Gäste erfüllt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war einfach super klasse. Wir kommen gern wieder. Wir empfehlen einen Besuch sehr.

Das Gasthaus präsentierte ein solides Weihnachtsessen im Saal, das im Allgemeinen geschmacklich überzeugte. Allerdings stieß die begrenzte Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten auf, die sich hauptsächlich auf Salate, Klöße, Kroketten und einen Nachtisch beschränkte. Die Pommes erwiesen sich als etwas zu fettig. Ein Minuspunkt war die fehlende Kennzeichnung für Speck im Rotkraut, was für Gäste, die auf Fleisch verzichten, zu Unsicherheiten führte, da alle anderen Gerichte Fleisch enthielten. Dennoch konnte der Nachtisch durch seine Qualität punkten und sorgte für einen versöhnlichen Abschluss des Essens. Die Sauberkeit und angenehme Atmosphäre der Toiletten verdienen Lob. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich und kompetent. In Bezug auf die Spielecke gibt es Raum für Verbesserungen, aber an sich war sie okay. Insgesamt bleibt das Gasthaus eine Option für ein leckeres Weihnachtsessen, aber mit Raum für Verbesserungen in der vegetarischen Auswahl und klaren Kennzeichnungen für die Speisen.

Wir haben nur dort gegessen, nicht genächtigt. Aber es war sehr lecker und ein gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Und das Personal wer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam!

Wir waren hier an 2 Abenden. Der Service ist wirklich super! Man wird herzlich empfangen und rundum verwöhnt. Das Essen war absolut fantastisch und die Wartezeiten sehr kurz. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung.

Essen und Service waren hervorragend. Finde meistens doch ein "Haar in der Suppe" doch hier war alles absolut tadellos! Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Meine sonst eher mäkelige Lebensgefährtin war auch durch und durch zufrieden... Und das soll was heißen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Restaurant verbracht. Selten so eine freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung gehabt, auch die jüngere Kollegin geht in eine gute Schule. ;-) Es gibt eine gute Auswahl regionaler Weine und Gerichte. Suppe, Hauptgerichte und Nachspeise waren von hervorragendender Qualität, lediglich meine Blutwurstscheiben waren etwas zu scharf angebraten und generell etwas reichhaltig. Versucht es mal mit Kartpffelpüree anstatt Bratkartoffeln dazu. Danke für den schönen Abend!

Die versprochenen und gebuchten Balkone waren nicht vorhanden und auf Nachfrage wurde abgewiegelt . Das Essen der Speisekarte war super. Die Zimmer waren sauber.

Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen. Aber die Bewirtung und die Qualität der Speisen ist außerordentlich gut. Man runzelt vorerst die Stirn bezüglich der Preise, sieht man aber später die Portion ist alles wieder vergessen. Weiter so. Wir kommen nach dem Bogenschießen definitiv gerne wieder vorbei.

This year we have been to late with our booking and couldn't stay in the Gasthof Bad Sulza. It's a beautiful place on the main road and center of the city. They are serving very good food and local wines. Nice rooms, rustic restaurant and beer garden and a friendly staff all time. The gasthaus is in walking distance to the Toscana Therme!

Heute haben wir hier zu Abend gegessen, Rumpsteak und Kalbsleber. Das Fleisch war anfangs etwas zäh, was aber dann besser wurde. Mir war es alles in allem zu lasch und die Rohkost war mir zu grob geschnitten. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und auch flott. Vielleicht war unsere Wahl auch nicht die Beste.

Gutes Essen 🍴 und super Service. Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Echt zu empfehlen. Auch die Möglichkeit nach einem schönen Abend bei Wein und Sekt zu übernachten in der Pension ist möglich und empfehlenswert.

Bei unserer Suche nach einem Restaurant zum Abendessen stoppten wir spontan an dieser Lokalität. Uns empfing ein angenehm kühler und geschmackvoll eingerichteter Gastraum. Die freundliche Bedienung war schnell bei uns und nahm unsere Bestellung entgegen. Unsere Erwartungen an die schon in der Speisekarte lecker klingenden Gerichte wurden nicht enttäuscht. Einen Salatteller mit gebratener Kalbsleber habe ich bisher noch nirgendwo angeboten bekommen und der war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Auch das mit Ragout fin gefüllte und mit Käse überbackene Omelette war außerordentlich delikat. Lediglich das Apoldaer Bier war nicht so mein Geschmack, aber das ist ja subjektiv und hat nichts mit der allgemeinen Zufriedenheit mit dieser Gatstätte zu tun. Wie wir erst beim Herausgehen bemerkten, gibt es auch einen gemütlichen Biergarten. Beim nächsten Urlaub im Saale-Unstrut-Land statten wir diesem bestimmt einen Besuch ab.
