Highly recommended! 😊 The service is incredibly warm and attentive – you immediately feel welcome and are regularly asked if you need anything else. The schnitzels are amazing: huge, incredibly tasty, and incredibly filling. The fries are also perfect – just the right balance of crispy and juicy. You can tell the chef is passionate about his work, and the whole restaurant has a truly intimate, cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for good food and friendly service, this is the place for you!

The best schnitzels, and if you want them (!), truly huge portions! 👍 Great value for money! And above all, the staff and manager are super friendly. We're by no means regulars, but we've been coming back for over seven years. And you always get a warm and authentic welcome!

We visited Gasthaus Herrmann yesterday for the first time in a long time and, just like last time, were very satisfied. The schnitzel portions were so small that you couldn't see the plate, they were delicious, and in my opinion, they were very good value for money. The restaurant itself is a bit dated in terms of ambiance, but I like that and am therefore satisfied here as well. The service was very good. We were given a table for two at short notice and were immediately informed that it might take a little longer for the food to arrive. This wouldn't have been a problem for us, especially since we were served the food without much of a wait. Thank you very much

Restaurants like Gasthaus Herrmann are unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. Schnitzel lovers will definitely get their money's worth here. Whether it's Viennese style or Cordon Bleu, it's always world-class! Add a fresh Pilsner, served in the Saarland dialect—just how the locals like it. The salad dressing is excellent, as are the sauces. The quality, the portion sizes, and the ambiance are the best schnitzel Saarland has to offer.

The schnitzel was okay. But super cheap. I think it's less about the preparation and more about the quality of the meat. The fries were also okay, would have liked to have spent more time in the deep fryer. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was a bit unpleasantly old.

I ate 2 tarte flambées. Price performance mega... Then I saw the schnitzel at the next table and knew that I would definitely have to come back again.

We have been coming here for their famous schnitzel for so many years now and they never disappoint. Last time we came was Easter Sunday. They had a special : beef roll with red cabbage and potatoes. The portion was generous and we left with a full belly at a fair price. Very simple dishes. You don’t come here for gastro food but for conviviality and German confort food.

Popular place for delicious schnitzel dishes of all kinds. Well done, with fries and salad, all for an affordable price. An inn with no frills, but with heart and history. Here you meet real people. In summer it's nice to be outside.

Very nice personal atmosphere, guests are addressed by their first name if known. The schnitzels are really great! The side salad is large, fresh, not only green salad, but also beetroot and carrot with a sophisticated dressing. But the steakhouse fries are also absolutely great. In the picture on the left is the "small" portion, on the right is the "normal" portion with salsa sauce. To say that the portions are filling would be a gross understatement. :-D However, you are offered the opportunity to take the rest of the food with you, packed. The drinks are also great. The furnishings are bright, friendly and look fairly new, but seem a bit old-fashioned and boring to me, which is why only 4 stars. The fact that only cash payments are accepted is no longer up-to-date, but unfortunately it is still widespread in Germany. That's why the service is only 4 stars. The price level is reasonable. Risk of recurrence: 100% :-)

Leider kann man vor Ort nur Bar bezahlen. Anders als in Google angegeben. Dort steht das Zahlung mit Debitkarte und Zahlung per NFC möglich sei. Es sehr blöd wenn man dies nicht weiß und dann an einer fremden Bank 5€ Gebühr bezahlen muss.

Alles sehr bürgerlich und gediegen. Freundliche Bedienung. Die Speisekarte bietet überwiegend Schnitzel, riesengroß und toll im Geschmack. Die Panade Cross und das Fleisch ist zart. Wir kommen wieder.

Tip top super leckere Schnitzel die Soße ein Hammer gut aufgehoben und die Bedienung ein Unikat. Liebe Grüße an die Nebelkrähe wenn ich wieder in Saarbrücken bin muß ich dort wieder einkehren. Kann ich nur empfehlen Daumen hoch.....

Definitiv eine der besten Adressen, um Schnitzel zu essen! Preis -Leistung Bombe; Service war auch super, die Kehle war zu keiner Zeit trocken. Die Portionen sind riesig und sehr lecker, was man heutzutage ja nicht wirklich mehr oft vorfindet. Das Ambiente ist etwas altbacken, was für uns aber doch eher zweitrangig war; sind ja dorthin um was zu essen und nicht um einen Wellnessabend zu verbringen 😉 Jedoch war alles sauber! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, trotz einer etwas weiteren Anfahrt...!👍

Nettes deutsches Gasthaus mit schöner Außenterrasse. Die Schnitzel sind lecker und die Pommes auch. Punktabzug wegen der Rahmsoße - schmeckt "künstlich" wie aus dem Päckchen mit zu wenig Rahm und leider ohne Champignons - Beilagensalat leider keine frischen Karotten - dann wäre die volle Punktzahl erreicht. Vielleicht nützlich für den Koch 😉

Beste Schnitzel, dass ich seit langem gegessen habe. Panade war kross und luftig und Schnitzel zart. Auch die Portion für die Preise heutzutage sind riesig. In anderen Restaurants bekommt man ein kleines vertrocknetes Schnitzel serviert für den gleichen Preis. Der Mann war auch total gut drauf und lieb.

Schnitzel sind wirklich gut. Sehr große Portionen, musste die Hälfte noch mit heimnehmen. Bedienung sehr nett. Innenraum sehr ungemütlich. Allerdings mussten wir bei Reservierung 10 Euro im voraus bezahlen. Wurde dann bei Zahlung mit dem Essen verrechnet.

Die Schnitzel sind absolut super! Allerdings sind seit Monaten Positionen auf der Karte, die es nicht mehr gibt (wie z.B. Kroketten). Die Karte könnte wirklich mal aktualisiert werden. Die Schnitzel aber bitte so lassen! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
