Gasthaus Kölker in Hamminkeln

Rustic restaurant with very tasty food. We had different dishes with several people and they were all delicious. The service is also very nice. However, we waited 1.5 hours for our food. In addition, we had to wait 30 minutes for menus. According to the statement, there were too few for the restaurant. This would be easily solved in 2024 with a QR code to the PDF if there was a website. But since the drinks on the table were written on pieces of paper so that it would be accounted for, digitalization has not yet come knocking there. Edit: because it was probably worded misleadingly (see restaurant's answer). Of course, the topic of digitalization does not apply to cooking. However, how one can understand this is a mystery to me. And regarding waiting time. It was Saturday 7:00 p.m. It should be known (possibly through reservations) that many people are coming. But even then there can be a delay. That's completely OK. It's all about communication and that didn't exist.

Excellent food, great quality, great service. We had a very good meal including a great "greetings from the kitchen" with very friendly service. Ambience of a typical country inn.

Yesterday we had dinner at Kölker in Wertherbruch. My steak from beef rump was very, very, very well prepared from excellent meat. Rarely found such good quality on a plate. The dishes from the others at the table also looked delicious. Lamb cooked perfectly! Service was friendly and nice. Sharing starter plates is no problem. Absolutely and unreservedly recommended!

We ate there with a slightly larger group and the only thing we can praise is that it was very tasty. Unfortunately, the negative points outweigh the negatives, for example I ordered ice cream for dessert and got exactly as much ice cream as the person next to me who ordered a hazelnut tart. Definitely not worth another visit

We had a really delicious meal and were all thoroughly impressed. Price-performance is okay. Highly recommended.

I was in this restaurant for the first time. There was a group dinner of roast goose. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. The goose was served cut into pieces on platters, with Brussels sprouts and baked apples on top. The meat was soft, which was the best thing on the plate. However, I couldn't eat the greasy limp skin, I was expecting crispy skin. The Brussels sprouts were missing butter and nutmeg, instead with a flavor enhancer (some sort of spice, brrrr). The dumplings were out (too few were served), only mini dumplings were served, probably a ready-made product since there were several eaters. ... There were no supplies. and with the red cabbage I had the feeling of putting it in the glass into the bowl for the table, having of course been warmed up beforehand. All in all - the main course definitely did NOT correspond to the price-performance ratio. The starter (broth with vegetables) was okay, the dessert was good, pure yoghurt in a small jar with finely chopped fresh fruit on top. Well, I'm one experience richer with the conclusion that I probably won't visit this restaurant again. I was hoping for a little more for the price offered. .

After a day in Bochelt, we did not want to have a nice bite to eat in the (shopping) center, but in an authentic Gasthaus. We ended up here on the route back to the Netherlands. Delicious schnitzels eaten here, and you are not rushed to make room quickly.

We ate and drank excellently here during our vacation. The food was prepared to perfection and really was of the finest quality. Plus delicious Bolten on tap and courteous, very friendly service. You really feel very comfortable and in good hands. I can only give my unreserved recommendation!

Waren Sonntagsmorgen zum Frühstücken dort, es paßte alles, nichts zu beanstanden kann ich nur empfehlen! Gute parkmöglichkeiten nettes personal.

Wir waren kürzlich zu einem Familienessen in diesen Restaurant. Wir haben uns dort sofort sehr wohl gefühlt, eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Da wir mit 10 Personen da waren, wurden einige Gerichte der Mittagskarte bestellt. Die Vorsuppe ist richtig lecker. Ich habe noch keine so schmackhafte Hochzeitstagssuppe gegessen. Alle Hauptgerichte wie Gänsebraten, Fisch, Rumpsteak, Kalbsteak oder Geschnetzeltes waren ausnahmslos sehr gut. Der kleine Nachtisch rundete das Menü ab. Wir sagen vielen Dank an das Team und wir kommen wieder.

Waren am Sonntag noch lecker essen. Immer 100 Prozent zufrieden. Preis-Leistung stimmt

Das Essen war wie immer lecker, gut gewürzt. Der Service ist sehr gut , freundlich und gestern schnell. Waren mit einer kleinen Gruppe die einzigen Gäste.

Ruhige Atmosphäre, das Essen wie immer ein Genuss. Die Suppe mit herrlich frischen Beilagen, das Hauptmenü mit frisches Gemüse und Salate gepaart mit hervorragendem zubereitetem Fleisch, das Dessert nicht zu vergessen.

Hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Gasthof Kölker.Essen war sehr gut. Leider wurden wir um 22.45 aufgefordert zu gehen. 👎
