Today we went to Gasthaus Karl for food and something to drink with friends. We had the chicken Gordonblue We enjoyed it very much, we were served quickly and it didn't take long to eat You can sit comfortably outside and also have a nice interior, highly recommended Would love to come back.

Since my friends' reviews were portrayed as incorrect by the operator, I have now decided to write a review and describe my impression. First of all, the service should be praised as very friendly and accommodating. Now to the dishes, we tried a small portion of each of our dishes, and they were all cold. My friend's spaetzle was also hard and looked like it wasn't cooked properly. The schnitzel that a friend and I ordered turned out to be a cutlet when we received it and was about the size of the palm of my hand, but no bones were left in it, which leaves practically no meat left. The porcini mushroom puree was also completely cold and there was no other side dish, but it wasn't listed on the menu either. Contrary to the operator's statement, we did not eat the entire plate and drink the drinks, but listed the defects immediately after trying them and had the food returned as a gesture of goodwill from the operator. Otherwise we would have had a total bill of around €90 for small portions and cold food. I can't make a recommendation

Great host who has service and cuisine under control. We had Gasthaus tapas beforehand and chicken cordon bleu with dauphine potatoes in paprika cream sauce with blueberry BBQ dip. Everything homemade! Clear recommendation!

Never been so disappointed! The food was completely carelessly prepared and everything was frozen or ready-made. Then on top of that it was cold with four people! Everything was an absolute flop!!! Our neighboring table said exactly the same thing! You wouldn't even take the food as a gift! Canteen, on the other hand, is a luxury... All four meals were returned and we will never enter the “restaurant” again. Save your visit and use the money to go to a good restaurant!

The service was still a bright spot. Unfortunately that was the only good thing... I have never given a negative review, but I have been so disappointed that this has to be said. The spaetzle came from the package and was rock hard, the “Jägerschnitzel” which was a cutlet, was cold and sad to look at. The burger was cold and fries unsalted. Left the food behind. The chef stopped at the counter and wanted to make light of the terrible food. Never had such bad food, can't recommend it!

We became aware of this really nice restaurant through the Schlemmerblock and were both thrilled by the attentiveness and friendliness of the service, but most importantly by the quality of the food. We both ordered the Gasthausburger, which we found really outstanding and very creative. The combination of pork with tomato confit, braised onions, crispy camembert, rocket and blueberries BBQ with colesalw and fries is unparalleled. The weekly menu changes every 2 weeks and there is themed catering from Wednesday to Friday (schnitzel day, Greek day and fish day on Friday). The prices are still surprisingly cheap considering the quality. In summer you can sit outside in a quiet and really nice way and there are also plenty of parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. For families with children, this is the ideal place to relax and enjoy, as there are open spaces and play opportunities nearby. Thank you for bringing this restaurant to our attention through Schlemmerblock. In any case, creativity is lived here and is not just an empty phrase. We will certainly come back soon to enjoy. In any case, an absolute recommendation from us for anyone who is looking for a taste experience beyond the usual. In any case, we look forward to repeating it soon!

I was honestly very disappointed. I ate there yesterday because the reviews were good and I hadn't been there yet. I can't understand how pictures and the rating can be so misleading. A lot of things on site were a bit run down and it seemed as if little to no time or money was being invested in the atmosphere. Don't get me wrong, everything doesn't have to look perfect, but I was able to see 10 spiders from my seat alone, 4 of them clearly visible on the white ceiling. This is, for example, something that was or is definitely avoidable. The menus were sticky, discolored and worn. It was also difficult to determine exactly the color of the carpet on the floor. About the meal itself: I ordered the cream schnitzel. The schnitzels were obviously frozen schnitzels that were simply made in the pan with a lot of fat and a little too much seasoning. I would go so far as to say that this schnitzel is anything but good even among frozen schnitzels. The cream sauce was also a ready-made sauce. It even flaked in the container. The spaetzle that came with it was also just from a package and tasted accordingly. In my opinion an absolute failure. What I found most outrageous, however, was the price. Even on schnitzel day, where the schnitzels “only” cost €12.50 (normal price according to the menu: €14.50), it is far too expensive for the quality. In other restaurants you can get much better food for cheaper prices. However, I wouldn't eat the food as it was again, even for free. I hope for the sake of the team that you take this to heart, as I won't be the only one who will feel this way, also evident from the distribution of reviews. I wish the team continued success! We went through the SchlemmerBlock to the Gasthaus Karl. The service, drinks and food was brilliant. The waiter was always courteous. We'd love to come back!

Simple club restaurant. We came across it through the Schlemmerblock. Food is good and the portions are sufficient. Good value for money. Friendly service. There are different offer days...Wednesday e.g. Schnitzel Day. When the weather is nice, you also have the opportunity to sit outside. There is also a playground for the kids. Would love to come back.

The grill plate was supposed to be Greek, but contained a bratwurst and regular meat. The gyro appeared to be pan gyros. Even for 12.90 it wasn't worth it. The side salad cost 4.80, some of it was canned. 0.2 liters of wine cost 6 euros, a large bottle of mineral water also cost 6 euros, too expensive, especially since this restaurant sees itself as a sports restaurant. 1 liter of wine costs 20 euros, which is what you would have to make do if you are there with several people. We won't be visiting this restaurant again.

We became aware of this simple club restaurant through the Schlemmerblock. We were there on Schnitzel Day (Wednesday) and ate cheap and good schnitzel. The service was friendly. The restaurant is very simply designed without any special ambience. There is a playground outside and if the weather is good you can also sit outside.

Very disappointing. Never again. The map is partly completely illegible due to the many right-hand drive errors. You can have someone proofread it. My burger (meat and bun) was burnt, we asked him about it. The only answer was: "If you think that's just the way it should be. That's what happens when you use the brioche toaster". Tried to show but just turned around and left. My father's food was also very black in some places. The prices are outrageous for what is on offer. Example: Children's portion of chicken nuggets with fries + mayo + ketchup for 10.90 euros. Very small burger with few fries for 16.90 euros. I'd rather go somewhere else for better and cheaper burgers. Ambiance was okay, I find carpeting in the restaurant rather unsuitable. I had to change the baby on the floor due to a lack of changing options and was able to see the hygienic condition of the floor... I hope others are spared the sight. The only positive thing was that we were there with Schlemmerblock and thus saved us 2 out of 4 bad meals.

Update 6/2024: Unfortunately, the prices are now significantly too high in some cases. Excellent food with good ingredients at very reasonable prices. Plus a very attentive service. The beautiful outdoor area is a relief, especially in summer. We will be back!

We were there on March 22nd. Four of us in the Gasthaus Karl. What was positive right from the start was that our little dog got a bowl of water plus a treat. The atmosphere is that of a club restaurant, but everything seems clean and tidy. In summer you can sit outside here nicely. Starters were plentiful and good, a fresh salad with a delicious dressing, two schnitzels and a handful of parmesan wedges found their way home with us because it was just too much. Only the rump steak was a bit 'unusual' as it was served cut into several pieces on the plate. In total we paid around 40 euros per person, which was absolutely reasonable including starters, drinks (wine, beer) and a nightcap at the end (delicious brandies from Scheibel). Our conclusion: We'll be back.

For a club restaurant, the Karl is surprisingly comfortably furnished. The landlord is very friendly and the food was really tasty and inexpensive. We had the salad plate with cheese and Giros with Metaxa sauce. Both were large portions, I couldn't finish my Metaxa-Giros - also because it was gratinated with cheese. If you're in the area, we recommend taking a look.

The highlight, however, was the ice cream at the end, which was simply delicious. We love it and will definitely come back when we are in the area! Had a delicious meal at Gasthaus Karl today for Sunday lunch.😀 Breaded pork schnitzel with a very good breading, fries crispy and tasty. And pork steak, the best thing I've ever eaten. Totally juicy. Add two side salads. Also very fresh, crunchy and delicious dressing. Host very friendly. After paying, we got panna cotta on the house.👍 We drove almost 60 km because of the Schlemmer Block. But it was worth it.

We ate there today, 4 different dishes, all very tasty. Absolutely friendly service, thank you very much, we will be back.

We received a very friendly welcome from the property. The food is great. We had schnitzel. The schnitzel was very juicy and the breading was not the standard breadcrumbs, but homemade. The food was very tasty. The owner served us and was very friendly. Everything was really perfect, except that the location is unfortunately not nice. We didn't feel particularly comfortable because of the strange light and furnishings. But the food makes up for a lot.

Wir hatten einen 2:1 Gutschein und waren hier jetzt zum ersten Mal. Wir bestellten beide das Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat. Essen war lecker, Service sehr freundlich und die Preise völlig im Normbereich. Werden bestimmt nochmal kommen.

The food was delicious and pleased our taste buds, however the ambience could be improved with some improvements. Unfortunately, our table was a bit dirty and cobwebs were visible on the windows, which left a slightly unkempt impression. Wir mussten gar nicht so lange warten, obwohl das Lokal gut besucht war. Das Essen waren sehr lecker. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Ich war vor zirka 1 Woche hier. Ich muss sagen, dass es sehr lecker war hier. Die Gaststätte ist sehr schön eingerichtet für eine Vereinsgaststätte. Preis-Leistung hat auch gepasst und Service ist auch Prima. Wenn man in der Ecke ist, lohnt es sich hier zu essen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Kellner wirkte jedoch etwas überfordert, hat Dinge vergessen und bei der Abrechnung sind Fehler aufgetreten

SchniPoSa x2: Das war besser als sonst in anderen Sportgaststätten. Das Sößle war nicht aus der Tüte und lecker -und das Schweinefleisch war erkennbar selbst paniert. Der Blattsalat war vermengt mit Feldsalat. Für 14,50 war das okay. Einen höheren Preis wäre es auch nicht wert gewesen. Das Ambiente ist sehr unterentwickelt. Nicht gemütlich. Die Gastro WCs werden von den Vereinen mitbenutzt (oder andersrum). Uuuuiiiii.... Da war gerade Fußball..... uiiii. Für einen Gastrobetrieb gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Herren WCs waren etwas wie Autobahnraststätte. Getestet.... und nur bei Alternativlosigkeit wieder.

Heute lecker gegessen im Gasthaus Karl; feine Käsespätzle mit karamellisierten Zwiebeln, auch das Schnitzel war sehr gut zubereitet. Zum Abschluss gab es für jeden eine frisch gebackene Miniwaffel. Sehr freundlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es hat sich wohl leider noch nicht rumgesprochen, wie gut es hier ist. Wir waren jetzt schon zwei mal dort und es war sehr lecker, leider waren aber nicht so viele Gäste da. Es wird äußerst leckeres Essen serviert, der Inhaber kocht hier selbst und man merkt, dass er etwas von seinem Fach versteht. Sehr gutes Essen und das zu einem wirklich extrem guten Preis. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und hoffen, dass noch mehr Gäste den Weg ins Gasthaus Karl finden.

Wir waren an einem Wochentag zum Abendessen hier. Das Restaurant war mäßig besucht, wobei es trotzdem sehr laut war. Begrüßt wurden wir nicht. Nachdem wir uns für einen der freien Tische entschieden hatten, wurden wir nach ca. 10 Minuten wahrgenommen. Die Karte liest sich vielversprechend, allerdings kann die Realität die Erwartungen nicht erfüllen. Wir hatten einen Salat mit Huhn (Erwartung: etwas „Leichtes“) sowie die Hähnchenroulade mit Feta und getrockneten Tomaten bestellt. Der Salat war vielfältig und hätte lecker sein können, wäre er nicht in einem Meer aus sahnigem Dressing ertränkt worden. Selbst mein Begleiter hat kapituliert. Die Idee der Roulade war gut, leider war sie auf der Unterseite komplett schwarz. Ja… sowas bemerkt der Gast. Außerdem war der Reis nicht bissfest sondern zu hart und das ganze Gericht wurde durch eine extrem sahnige Thymian-Sahnesoße unglaublich schwer. Ich finde es extrem schade, da ich schon den Eindruck hatte, das versucht wird „frisch“ und abwechslungsreich zu kochen. Allerdings ist die Umsetzung der Gerichte ausbaufähig. Den zusätzlichen Stern erhält das Restaurant lediglich, da der (vermutlich) Chef unglaublich sympathisch ist und selbst bedient. Ich nehme trotzdem von einem weiteren Besuch vorerst Abstand.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und es war super lecker. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar. Wir haben sogar ein Eis kostenlos bekommen. Vielen Dank für das tolle Essen und den guten Service. Wir kommen wieder und können das Gasthaus Karl uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Super tolle Gaststätte mit mega leckerem gut bürgerlichem Essen. Die Portionen sind riesig und alles mit Liebe gekocht. War hier schon ein paar mal und jedes Mal mega zufrieden. Komme definitiv wieder!

Schön und speisekarte ist für jedermann was dabei ob groß oder klein .zwei Biergärten einen vorne einer hinten ..Hier kocht der Chef noch selbst und nur mit frischen Produkten keine fertig sachen .Essen auch außer Haus . Wechselnde Wochenkarte. Auch geeignet für Firmen Meetings oder anderes .am besten selbst vorbei gehen und eintrücke sammeln .

Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Ich hatte die Hähnchenroulade und die war sehr schön angerichtet. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und man wartet nicht lange. Gerne wieder!

Sehe gute, freundliche Beratung, die Empfehlungen waren goldrichtig. Die Semmelknödel mit Pfifferlingragout und Trüffelschaum haben sehr gut geschmeckt und unserem Sohn der Klassiker (Schnitzel Pommes) ebenfalls. Klare Empfehlung!

Die Speisen und Getränke sind sehr gut. Der Wirt ist gelernter Koch und kommt manchmal reserviert rüber. Wir hatten Schwein, Rind und Maultaschen mit diversen Beilagen. Alles war reichlich und im Geschmack sehr gut und perfekt zubereitet. Scheibel Schnäpse zu je 3,50 €. Auch die gesamte Preispolitik ist günstig.

Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen und sind sehr positiv überrascht worden. Die Location liegt etwas versteckt, und befindet sich im Vereinsheim der SG Siemens. Die Karte ist klein aber fein und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Alle Gerichte, die wir gegessen haben, waren frisch, hausgemacht und sehr lecker. Saftige Burger, pikanter Ziegenkäse und ein knackiger Salat. Toller Geschmack und mit viel Leidenschaft angerichtet. Hinzu kommt ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Auch der Service war gut und hat das positive Gesamtbild abgerundet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns schon auf einen gemütlichen Abend.
