Gasthaus Hirschen in Schopfheim

The hospitality from both ladies today, Friday at 7 p.m., was absolutely terrible—a no-go. Even other guests noticed that we, the four of us (at a reserved table), were simply ignored—not a moment or anything. They walked past us five times (we were standing) with an unfriendly look. The restaurant industry needs such unqualified, unfriendly staff. We'll never set foot there again.

We weren't satisfied at all. The salad with the toast was not good at all, and the vegetables (cauliflower) with the schnitzel were sour. The fries were not good. The affogato was regular coffee with ice, not espresso. Dried tulips were the decoration on the table. We were all very disappointed.

Very chic restaurant, top-notch service. Everyone is very friendly. I highly recommend it. 5 stars from me. I definitely have to go back.

The food was delicious, the meat, the sauces, everything was excellent. Except for the Käsespätzle (spaetzle with cream sauce), but that was our own fault; we don't usually order things like that in this area 😅 because we're from the Allgäu region and are used to proper Käsespätzle. The starter came with the main course, which was a bit silly, but otherwise everything was great! The service was very friendly!
