Good inn in a very nice location with good service and delicious dishes.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the rooms, but the food was delicious! The service was super friendly!

Everything at Grüner Berg is just perfect: the owners and staff are warm, very helpful, and authentic. The food is fantastic; we were there four years ago and have returned now. We were delighted by several dishes and can recommend everything. The kitchen conjures up fantastic dishes using local ingredients, and you can taste it. We enjoyed lovely evenings and felt very well looked after. Definitely make a reservation! The holiday apartments are also highly recommended. Our apartment was newly renovated, the layout was very good, the kitchen was equipped with everything you need, the beds were comfortable, and the large balcony has a large awning, inviting you to linger. We would definitely love to come back!

Unreserved recommendation! We've rarely eaten so well. Neither my wife, as the cook, nor I had anything to complain about. The food was not only of outstanding quality, but also very, very well prepared and simply delicious! We both had a beef dish and a soup starter and were very impressed! Combined with the friendly staff, the incredible view, and very good value for money, the "Green Mountain" is one of the best restaurants we've had the pleasure of enjoying a meal at in recent years. Everything was great. We highly recommend it. We feel very comfortable here. Great view, quiet location, delicious food, friendly staff, and a lovely host family. Great hourly bus service to Lake Constance/Meersburg for a reasonable price. You can leave the car at home for a while. We'll definitely be back.

A visit to the Gasthaus zum Grünen Berg in Baitenhausen is not just a meal – it is an experience. Just the journey through the extremely idyllic landscape allows you to relax. The restaurant is beautifully situated right next to a small chapel, with a wonderful panoramic view of the region's hills - a place that almost seems a bit magical. The guest room is lovingly furnished, exudes a warm cosiness and invites you to linger. Here you immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The service was friendly, attentive and at the same time pleasantly reserved – just the right mix. The evening was an absolute culinary highlight. I chose the “Swabian Dream” - a dish that lives up to its name: perfectly fried beef fillet on creamy cheese spaetzle, plus actually handmade Maultaschen - just like Grandma's - on fresh, homemade potato salad. The taste is a poem, and you can taste in every bite that they cook with love here. Conclusion: If you are looking for an exceptional location, a warm atmosphere and food of the highest standard, you will find what you are looking for at the Gasthaus zum Grünen Berg. A real gem – I’ll definitely be back.

Super nice, careful, competent and modern service. Small, cozy, down-to-earth, friendly guest room with direct contact to the counter. Schnitzel and fries were great, I've rarely had anything better. Fantastic surroundings. Thank you that such original gastronomic gems that focus on the essentials and quality still exist.

Great location, great view. Small restaurant with around 30 to 40 seats. Luckily we got two more, everything was fully booked. Great employee, very friendly and helpful, all guests in the restaurant felt comfortable. You could see the guests. Very good food, plentiful and everything made fresh. Price performance very good. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

Delicious Swabian cuisine. During peak times, it's best to reserve a table in advance. Great view...even in rainy weather.

Only 2 veg options. But it was very good. The view is amazing.. during summer, you must book seats. You can also just drink beer near the church with a view..

Once a Green Mountain, ALWAYS a Green Mountain! There is no dish that doesn't taste good. The cooking here is still honest and authentic. The boss and all the employees are super friendly and really quick. In summer you sit next to the chapel with a view of the valley and feel like you are in Montefiascone or somewhere else in Italy ;) Absolute recommendation!

Great restaurant with excellent food!

A small, nice inn with very tasty food 😊 It's a bit remote on the mountain next to a small chapel. There is no through traffic there. When the weather is nice you can also sit outside. The service was very accommodating and the younger guests were given something to paint to tide them over until the food arrived. There are children's meals and also smaller portions (with a slight discount on the price).

Despite Mother's Day, the service was very flexible and courteous, thank you very much

Wir waren bereits das 2. Mal für 1 Woche da. Die Zimmer sind einfach, sauber und mit einer möblierten Terrasse ausgestattet. Preis und Leistung sind auf alle Fälle stimmig. Die Gastleute und auch das Servicepersonal sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, es ist schon fast ein bisschen familiär. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal auf dem grünen Berg in dem ruhigen, kleinen Gasthaus.

Eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Das Essen war vorzüglich, die Bedienung sehr nett und die Aussicht atemberaubend. Klare Empfehlung.

Gasthof Grüner Berg, Baitenhausen - Hervorragendes Essen mit herrlicher Aussicht! Alle wollen Zimmer und Essen mit Seesicht am Bodensee - ich auch. Aber es gibt eine wunderschöne Alternative: Der Gasthof Grüner Berg in Baitenhausen hat nicht nur eine tolle Küche, sondern auch die schönste Landsicht am Bodensee! Hoch oben über Baitenhausen neben einer schönen Kapelle (schon die Kirchenfürsten wußten wo es schön ist) steht das Gasthaus Grüner Berg - eine Oase. Das Gasthaus bietet tolle Gerichte und dazu die schönste Landsicht am Bodensee. Auch im August 2023 sitze ich wieder bei schönstem Wetter vor dem Gasthaus und genieße die herrlichen Gerichte - u.a. die besten „Bergspätzle“ am Bodensee. Die Speisekarte hat für jeden was , ob Soljanka, „Schwäbischer Traum“ (Anm: In Baden als Badener fehlt mir der „Badische Traum“) oder das „Sonntagsessen“ alles wird frisch zubereitet und ist hervorragend gekocht. Ein freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service präsentiert die Gerichte, was will man mehr - die atemberaubende Landsicht gibt’s kostenlos! Dazu ein unschlagbares Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mit dem sich das Gasthaus Grüner Berg gegenüber den Gasthäusern entlang der Bodensee-Goldküste unterscheidet! Der Grüne Berg ist im Urlaub mein Gasthaus. Mit dem Fahrrad ideal, aber auch Auto und Busverbindung ist es kein Problem - Parkplätze gibt es genug. Hinweis: Spontan hinfahren ist vielfach keine gute Idee, weil Sie meistens vor einem ausgebuchten Gasthaus stehen. Daher unbedingt vorab telefonisch reservieren und auch Bargeld mitbringen - keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Auch hier meine Empfehlung: Kauf sie Gutscheine für zukünftige Besuche oder verschenken sie die Gutscheine als Essensempfehlung oder Geschenk. Wer sich schon mal Appetit holen möchte: Speisekarte mit Foto‘s und Telefonnummer zur Reservierung finden sich auf der Homepage. Ansonsten gilt: Wer einmal dort gegessen hat, kommt immer wieder - so wie ich!

Zeer mooi Gathaus. Mooie schone kamer met balkon. Het eten is er voortreffelijk !! En niet duur. Het ontbijt met alles er op en er aan !! Hele goede service en heel vriendelijk personeel. Een echte aanrader !!

Essen ist absolut spitze⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, Service sehr kundenorientiert und ein Urlaub auf dem Grünen Berg bedeutet Ruhe, Erholung und Entspannung. Tolles Familienunternehmen und top Lage auf einem Berg mit toller Aussicht neben einer Kapelle. Aufgrund der großen Nachfrage empfehlen wir eine frühzeitige Tischreservierung für draußen. Wir fahren ganz sicher wieder hin 👍👍👍

Sehr nette Gaststätte mit außen Gastronomie. Herrlicher Blick beim Essen ins Tal. Gutbürgerliches Essen zu einem annehmbaren Preis. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir haben diese Pension und Gastwirtschaft durch Zufall gefunden. Die Lage, außerordentlich ruhig auf einem Hügel genau neben einer Dorfkirche gelegen und sonst keine weiteren Häuser sagt eigentlich alles... Den Sonnenuntergang von der Zimmerterasse genießen und das Abendessen mit Blick auf die Kirche, wo bitteschön bekommt man das? Auch das Frühstück lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen, sehr lecker... Parkplatz für Auto direkt vor dem Haus und Fahrräder können in der Scheune eingeschlossen werden. Mit dem Linienbus in die nahe gelegene Stadt Meersburg gelangt man von der 50 Meter entfernten Bushaltestelle... Ist so was von klasse... Eine echte Empfehlung und Dankeschön das wir hier Gast sein durften...

Sehr nette Pension, gutes Frühstück und die Wirtin ist sehr zuvorkommend. Alle Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt und im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften in der Region sind die Zimmer bezahlbar.

Sehr leckeres Essen und eine wunderschöne Aussicht wenn man im Freien sitzt. Die Bedienung ist immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir gehen wenn wir hier im Urlaub sind sehr gerne hin. Man kennt uns schon.

Die Gaststätte ist schlicht , einfach und zweckdienlich eingerichtet. Das Essen ist ein Gedicht. Kässpätzle mit Schnitzel sehr zu empfehlen. Maultaschen werden selbst gemacht ebenfalls empfehlenswert.Die Spätzle natürlich auch . Das Fleisch auf den Punkt gegart. Rundum lecker.

Klein fein lecker! Einziges Problem man muss in Schichten essen, die Tische werden 2 mal belegt. Auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren. Ansonsten sehr familiere Kleinkneipe sehr empfehlenswert.

Waren über Karneval 2023 am Bodensee. Bei unserer Wanderung zur Wallfahrtskirche Maria zum Berg Karmel wollten wir hier einkehren. Leider war das Gasthaus geschlossen. Zum Essen im Gasthof, die Zimmer und Ambiente können wir leider nichts beitragen. Allerdings geben wir gerne weiter das die Inhaberin sehr freundlich ist, sie erlaubte uns die Gästetoilette zu nutzen, daher ***** Sterne für diese Gastfreundschaft 👍

Ein gut bürgerlicher Gasthof. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft, die Portionen recht groß. Die Gästezimmer bauzeitgemäß mit einem Touch der Moderne. Alles in allem: wer keinen Wert auf Luxus legt und trotzdem gut aufgehoben sein möchte, wird sich hier wohlfühlen.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Gast-Stube aber das Essen ist einfach hervorragend. Es gibt keine große Auswahl an Speisen aber das was angeboten wird ist einfach eine sehr sehr gute Küche . Es ist für jeden etwas dabei . Preis Leistung Topp. Tipp. FARNY Hefeweizen Alkoholfrei Cordonbleu mit Beilagen.

Gute Parkmöglichkeit, sehr schöne Aussicht, ruhige Lage, Bedienung sehr nett und auf Zack. Ich habe Bergspätzle für 13,90 EUR gegessen. War gut. Unbedingt vorher reservieren, da sehr gut besucht. Zwar nicht die größten Portionen, aber ausreichend. Toiletten sehr gepflegt. Empfehlenswert.

Schönes Restaurant neben einer Kapelle. Von hier hat man ein wunderschönen Weitblick über die Region. Die landestypischen Gerichte sind sehr schmackhaft, das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent. Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt.

Richtig tolles Restaurant. Wir sind durch Zufall dorthin gekommen und wir haben es nicht bereut. Aber es muss reserviert werden sonst wird es schwierig. Aber es lohnt sich wirklich. Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir hier Urlaub machen.
