Were there with several people. Various dishes were served in a reasonable time. The different menus (from salad plates to rump steak) were lovingly and freshly prepared and also tasted very well. 😋 Small negative point: The basement came across as a bit stressed and overwhelmed, which was probably due to the full house. 😮‍💨 Highly recommended, gladly again! 👍

It was delicious today... Venison goulash with spaetzle and red cabbage. Plus half a pear with cranberries. The taste is really great. Even the waiter said when we ordered that it was a good choice. How he was right... Absolutely recommended

Was going single file! Absolutely sensational! Hike perfectly organized with: mulled wine, beer, anti-alcoholic, lard bread and then the buffet: the very finest and so plentiful: leg, breast, dumplings, spaetzle, stuffing, red cabbage, minced offal, salad, pear with cranberries! Absolutely world class and perfectly cooked! Service was great, very attentive and very friendly - plus the landlord was great! Excited and - we'll be back! 1000 thanks to everyone!!!!

The Felsenmühle in St. Wendel offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere, even if an improvised room divider is a bit annoying. The food was very good. My steak was perfect (medium rare) and seasoned with coarse pepper – just great! The fries were crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, just right. The currywurst was also tasty, but with a fair amount of spiciness that you should like. The service was quick and friendly. Overall, a successful visit that I would be happy to repeat!

The portions were very plentiful. Too much for me. I found the preparation of the side salad particularly tasty. That alone would have satisfied me.

We were there with a group of 25 people. Everything was super organized and very friendly. Food was very good. Not a long wait

It's difficult to give the right number of stars here. Let's start with the fact that the coordination of space allocation is absolutely incomprehensible. Putting a young couple in a relatively small room with 3 extremely loud rounds of old ladies was very uncomfortable. And there would have been no shortage of other available space. The cola tasted kind of like syrup. But the food itself was really really good! What was shocking, however, was that a simple side salad costs around €5 extra and something like a dollop of herb butter costs €3.20 extra! That's very steep, but the prices of the main courses are absolutely reasonable. The portion of fries is absolutely perfect, the fries are on point and the general portion sizes are completely sufficient. The last table reservation is for 8:45 p.m. - the kitchen closes at approximately 9-9:15 p.m., was informed when the next table was asked for dessert at 9:20 p.m. All in all, we are a bit undecided about coming back as the food was really incredibly tasty and the staff was very friendly, but the rest was a bit difficult for us. We also wonder why we were allowed to specify when making the reservation whether it was a birthday, anniversary or something similar - just to provide an overview for business and why customers come? Or is this only relevant for a larger number of guests?

On a holiday, on a spontaneous whim, we were looking for a place to eat. That's how we ended up at Felsenmühle, which we had never been to before. We found the ambience very nice and the service exceptionally nice. There is a special note about food: Everyone thought it was delicious except for my wife, who simply ordered something "wrong" according to her expectations. But you can't blame the kitchen for that. Our waitress, who cleared my wife's almost untouched plate, naturally asked politely and later even gave us a little discount when paying. We found that very attentive and accommodating. Our conclusion: The emphasis here is on the satisfaction of the guests and the food, ambience and service were very good. I find the prices to be a bit too high but still within reasonable limits. I would still like to recommend the restaurant. PS: We had the baked sheep's cheese as a starter, then a cathedral salad (me) and a chimney roast (wife), as well as fish fingers and fries for the children. There are already enough pictures of these dishes in the reviews here. 😊💪

The Felsenmühle inn is highly recommended. The steak was perfectly cooked and really tasty, right on point. For dessert I ordered the chocolate cake, which was a dream. The core was wonderfully liquid and rounded off the dessert perfectly. The rustic ambience and the historic walls create a cozy, rustic atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Unfortunately, the nice beer menu from before is no longer available. I'd love to come back.

The food was very good. Service was also good. Although the gentleman would have smiled a little more. But everything was ok. What you want but is not a must... For a bill of 200 euros (4 people), a liqueur or something similar could be offered, as is often the case. All in all it was very good.

We have repeatedly held our 3-day management training courses for practical professions (trade, crafts, butchery and bakery specialists) here and are VERY SATISFIED with the collaboration. The woman responsible for us, Sabrina Böse, in particular, does an incredibly good, always attentive and creative job. Absolutely recommended, we would like to come back soon :-)

Hello. I went on a bike ride of about 80 km in the nice weather and came across this restaurant on the way back. It is idyllically located next to the cycle path and invites you to linger. I found the location to be very beautifully designed and very popular. Luckily I found a place outside in the shade and was greeted very friendly by the waitresses. I chose an Alsatian schnitzel and a Cola Zero. The drink came quite quickly and the food came slightly later. Everything was very tasty, sufficient and highly recommended. The price is just as good and in summary I can highly recommend this inn.

A tip for a Radazs flight. Located directly on the railway embankment.

We won't be coming for any more food, we were so annoyed the last time we were there, our son wanted cream sauce with the children's schnitzel, but the fact that we paid 4.20 euros for a small amount of sauce for one child (a mini sauce) was pretty bold The waiter could have said beforehand that there is no place where you have to pay extra for sauce for a child, unfortunately we only noticed it later when we were home otherwise we would have said something straight away, everyone we told was just with him Shaking our heads, it's a shame that was the last time we came to eat and many of our guests are now thinking about coming back to eat again.

A good restaurant in the heart of Sankt Wendel. Good service and food for everyone. Everyone will find something to suit their taste here. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We sat outside with a group of 6 and enjoyed the good service.

The ambience in the Felsenmühle is actually absolutely great, whether in the old building or in the beer garden. But this time we sat in the annex, I didn't like it at all. Glass box, you sit like you're in a school gym. But otherwise everything was great as always 👍.

I told the waitress this and she was very empathetic and said that she was trying to keep the back room free for us - as long as it was possible. That alone is worth an extra star to me. ⭐️ As always, the food was fresh, from regional suppliers and very tasty. Thanks to the entire team. 💐 Over and over again, whether alone or in large groups, which I also come here with. 😊

Very nice restaurant with a rocky atmosphere in the main building. But the winter garden also offers very nice seating. Very cozy atmosphere and very friendly service, prices appropriate for the service. We have been here several times and have always been very satisfied.

The food is great. Service is normally really great. But on holidays it seems somehow overwhelming. Assistants cannot take drink orders and the restaurant clerk cannot be easily reached when there are around 45 guests at 8 tables. Maybe think about the system accordingly. Cuisine is typically German. Maybe one or two Saarland delicacies would be great. Price/performance 4 stars. Portion enough. Side salad costs €4.90 but is a soup bowl full.

The atmosphere is very rustic in the living room, but in the winter garden it is new and modern. The not so friendly employee with glasses and a bald head is very ignorant and a bit rude. The food is fresh and delicious. As a chef, I'm thrilled!

We celebrated our wedding in a small group in the Felsenmühle, the food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly, I can only recommend it to everyone, there is also a beautiful outdoor area in summer.

After a long time we were there again and I was disappointed again. I ordered a salad with fried potatoes. The salad only consisted of a handful of green lettuce, no carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers or anything else. The fried potatoes were not crispy and lacked salt and any other seasoning. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. But honestly, I prefer to eat at home.

A really fine inn with a great ambience and lots of space. The glass annex is large and offers plenty of space. The old mill is a little narrower but still has enough space to sit comfortably. Here you can get good home cooking at affordable prices. For children there is a children's card and colored pencils for coloring. We would love to come back here.

A very comfortably furnished restaurant with very good cuisine. I have rarely eaten such a perfect medallion. The chef really knows his craft. The restaurant is highly recommended.
