This was our first time here. A very nice beer garden. The service was super friendly and the food was excellent. The best part is that you can eat there anytime and aren't tied to opening hours if you're hungry ;-). We'd love to come back.

We managed to get a table for 9 people with our dog at short notice during the week. But I recommend calling ahead. Everyone was extremely happy with their meal. The creamed schnitzel was just as amazing as the steak and salad! I like my steak medium-rare and rarely get it as cooked as this (it's usually very medium, and then medium is almost well done). The quality of the meat was also top-notch! The service was excellent: friendly and helpful, and we never had to wait long.

The food was tasty, nothing special, but good. The waiter was very arrogant, constantly interrupting me and then directing the question to my husband. I have no idea what that was about. I won't be coming back; I don't need that kind of thing. It's a shame.

We were there for an event, but a friend of mine wasn't really welcome, so neither was my companion. The two stars are because I was still treated with respect; otherwise, it would be one because there's no such thing as zero. You should always remember: what goes around comes around. It's a shame, it's actually a really nice place.

We celebrated my aunt's 60th birthday here. The atmosphere was lovely, the tables were beautifully decorated, and the food was also highly recommended. The staff were super friendly and not overly pushy, so we were well looked after.

I've been a customer for years. But I'm disappointed. The food has noticeably deteriorated recently; it's nothing like it used to be. There's definitely room for improvement. I'll try again in the near future. If I don't see any improvement, you've certainly lost several customers.

Because the weather wasn't great that Sunday, and we were actually planning on going to the town festival, we ended up at this restaurant at short notice. The service was incredibly attentive, and our child was well-accommodated. Four adults each ordered a starter and a main course, and when we saw the plates of the other tables, we were pleasantly surprised. Huge portions 😊 The food arrived, and everyone was satisfied and more than full at the end. Thank you for this amazing meal.

As always, our salad plates were tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately, the lettuce leaves are about the size of cabbage leaves. They could have put a little more effort into this.

I went there for the first time on Thursday with a few girls. We all thought it was delicious. For starters, I had a garlic baguette, which was really great. The side salad was also amazing, especially the coleslaw. For main course, I had the fillet platter, and the fillet was cooked to perfection, very tasty. Unfortunately, I only had room for one scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. And that was amazing 😋 We'd love to come back 👍

An excellent steak. The fact that I wanted the Angus beef to be well-cooked caused the very competent owner to frown, but the steak that arrived after a short wait was a feast for the senses: it tasted exactly how you would imagine a good steak to be. Conclusion: absolutely recommended!

We've been to Felsenmühle twice. The ambience is very nice, the food, no matter what we ordered as a family, was always very good. Overall, the price level is a bit high, especially for steaks and the like. With the family it gets a little more expensive. But a recommendation for special occasions Update: The food has now become very expensive, which is a shame. But our pain limits have been reached. A smaller group became a larger group, 23 people. The service staff tried very hard and didn't have to wait long. Tables were rearranged according to our needs. Food was very tasty. Price-performance and ambience suitable for the FELSENMÜHLE. We'd love to come back.

For years it has been a good address for home cooking or simply a sociable evening with friends, although I prefer the cozy, rustic interior space more than the sterile-looking "winter garden".

We were there at Christmas time. It was beautifully decorated and you immediately felt comfortable. The service staff was consistently friendly. The children were also very well received. The food was good and came very quickly, even though there was a lot to do due to the holidays. The portions are sufficient. It is definitely a restaurant that can be recommended.

Was going single file! Absolutely sensational! Hike perfectly organized with: mulled wine, beer, anti-alcoholic, lard bread and then the buffet: the very finest and so plentiful: leg, breast, dumplings, spaetzle, stuffing, red cabbage, minced offal, salad, pear with cranberries! Absolutely world class and perfectly cooked! Service was great, very attentive and very friendly - plus the landlord was great! Excited and - we'll be back! 1000 thanks to everyone!!!!

The Felsenmühle in St. Wendel offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere, even if an improvised room divider is a bit annoying. The food was very good. My steak was perfect (medium rare) and seasoned with coarse pepper – just great! The fries were crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, just right. The currywurst was also tasty, but with a fair amount of spiciness that you should like. The service was quick and friendly. Overall, a successful visit that I would be happy to repeat!

The portions were very plentiful. Too much for me. I found the preparation of the side salad particularly tasty. That alone would have satisfied me.

By the stars, what else can I write? Go there, it's worth it

It's difficult to give the right number of stars here. Let's start with the fact that the coordination of space allocation is absolutely incomprehensible. Putting a young couple in a relatively small room with 3 extremely loud rounds of old ladies was very uncomfortable. And there would have been no shortage of other available space. The cola tasted kind of like syrup. But the food itself was really really good! What was shocking, however, was that a simple side salad costs around €5 extra and something like a dollop of herb butter costs €3.20 extra! That's very steep, but the prices of the main courses are absolutely reasonable. The portion of fries is absolutely perfect, the fries are on point and the general portion sizes are completely sufficient. The last table reservation is for 8:45 p.m. - the kitchen closes at approximately 9-9:15 p.m., was informed when the next table was asked for dessert at 9:20 p.m. All in all, we are a bit undecided about coming back as the food was really incredibly tasty and the staff was very friendly, but the rest was a bit difficult for us. We also wonder why we were allowed to specify when making the reservation whether it was a birthday, anniversary or something similar - just to provide an overview for business and why customers come? Or is this only relevant for a larger number of guests?

On a holiday, on a spontaneous whim, we were looking for a place to eat. That's how we ended up at Felsenmühle, which we had never been to before. We found the ambience very nice and the service exceptionally nice. There is a special note about food: Everyone thought it was delicious except for my wife, who simply ordered something "wrong" according to her expectations. But you can't blame the kitchen for that. Our waitress, who cleared my wife's almost untouched plate, naturally asked politely and later even gave us a little discount when paying. We found that very attentive and accommodating. Our conclusion: The emphasis here is on the satisfaction of the guests and the food, ambience and service were very good. I find the prices to be a bit too high but still within reasonable limits. I would still like to recommend the restaurant. PS: We had the baked sheep's cheese as a starter, then a cathedral salad (me) and a chimney roast (wife), as well as fish fingers and fries for the children. There are already enough pictures of these dishes in the reviews here. 😊💪

The Felsenmühle inn is highly recommended. The steak was perfectly cooked and really tasty, right on point. For dessert I ordered the chocolate cake, which was a dream. The core was wonderfully liquid and rounded off the dessert perfectly. The rustic ambience and the historic walls create a cozy, rustic atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Unfortunately, the nice beer menu from before is no longer available. I'd love to come back.

The food was very good. Service was also good. Although the gentleman would have smiled a little more. But everything was ok. What you want but is not a must... For a bill of 200 euros (4 people), a liqueur or something similar could be offered, as is often the case. All in all it was very good.

The woman responsible for us, Sabrina Böse, in particular, does an incredibly good, always attentive and creative job. Absolutely recommended, we would like to come back soon :-)
